The “My Portfolio” widget has been super helpful to CSM to keep key fields on the Company up to date across their portfolio, however we noticed you cannot clear something that is selected even if the field is not required. In order to clear the field, we have to go directly to the C360. Ideally, this should work the same as fields elsewhere in the system and we should be able to clear. There should be an “x” that appears when you hover over a field in the Portfolio just like the experience in the C360 to clear a selection
HI Team, We’ve got a request from customer. All of the currency fields in my reports are showing “USD” in front of the values. when I download the data, Excel does not recognise the columns as currency (they start with a letter, not a number). So customer wants to see $ instead of USD.
Null is a valid value and often when creating a case field, I want to be able to set the value as “null” if the case is/ is not met. Currently this cannot be set as null. However in rules in the action you can default set a field value to null, so I feel like we should have the same option in Case field creation
Hey Gainsight! Something that would be helpful would be the ability to link old timeline entries to a new CTA. The reason for this is that during certain projects we manage a one time update or issue is noted in timeline. Sometimes that is all that it is, but often we see a trend of similar events reoccuring. For example, I have a client who asked for additional training around a specific subject which led to a one-time timeline entry. Since then, they have asked several times for training and QnA sessions, which I would like to track collectively as a CTA being that it seems to be part of a larger project to manage vs a one-off request. This is one example of many times I have found a trend of events with a client and would have liked to track and easily update the overall project of using a CTA. Thanks!
We would like the ability to tie timeline activities created through BCC/Email to Timeline to CTAs that have already been created. Before the email assist/BCC functionality, we would create timeline activities within a CTA (and still do so), but we are unable to tie BCC emails to a particular CTA now to keep our communications tied together. If there was some way to include the title of the CTA in the subject of the email, or something like that, to tie the email to the CTA, that would help out our team greatly.
Much of what I do when I build dashboards is test & preview them for accuracy. I do this by changing certain filters, seeing what it would look like for the end user.Except with locked global filters, I have no way of doing this. Not in Dashboard Builder > Preview mode, nor in production.Use case:create an NPS responses dashboard locked to the current user CSM, so CSMs can’t see other team members’ NPS responses As the admin, I want to: QA the dashboard to ensure it works as expected, and create documentation for my end-users on the dashboard itselfI’m not able to test this functionality, or even create screenshots for my end-users to enable them on the dashboard.
Suggestion to make the Select Score field for configuring answer scoring for questions to be a numeric, type-able field, instead of a 201 value picklist ranging from -100 to 100. It is much easier for people to type a number than to scroll through a list of 201 numeric values.I had 10 questions with 4 answers to configure with scores 1-4. It took at least twice as long to fiddle with this picklist than it would have been to type a number.
Hi Team, One of my customer (katerina) from the company (Retail Solutions) is looking to have a drop-down field in Data Management that needs to change from single select to multi-select yet it keeps saying that it has dependencies in Central Provisioning object – there were a couple that have removed yet she still keeps getting that message. SS : https://cl.ly/580a287aca7c Question: If there is another way to change this field to multiselect without deleting the field from all reports/rules? Currently, it is not possible to change from single picklist to mutli-picklist. The UI, Report, and objects are set read the specific picklist type, also type is enforced when setting up categories (droplists). Also, rule engine will not be able to set multi-picklist properly. It won't append values if we need it to, it would wipe out multiple values if selected and override it with the source value you push. Can we consider this one as Enhancement request ?
Hi All, A quick question regarding JO - we use it for auto-renewing our low-touch accounts where the program is fairly simple:- bring in participants (billing contacts) who have now failed to renew, send them final 30 days notification - then wait for 30 days - check if they have renewed in the last 30 days, if still overdue, send an internal Termination notice to start the suspension process. The termination notice goes to our Internal team - the issue being that more often than not, we have multiple billing contacts on file and so when one account fails to renew, there are multiple/duplicate termination notices being generated - one per each billing contact rather than per account ( albeit they all are sent to an internal email address). Is there a way to ensure only one termination email is sent out per account rather than per participant? I know the program journey is tracked per participant so I guess there isn't a way to do this but it would be really useful functionality. Thanks Katerina
I would really appreciate the ability to have multiple 2.0 scorecards running for each account. My use case: I have my customer health scorecard, which is keeping track of things like CSM sentiment, NPS score, Support tickets, etc. I also want to have a scorecard to breakdown our customer's usage into each of it's features. We have different features that customer will pay differently for, and we want to make sure that customers are using the features they're paying for. The features fall into three categories, Core, Premium and Pro. I want to have an rolled-up score for each of those categories as well as an overall score for all the features. Currently, I need to have both of these scorecards merged together on one scorecard. This causes problems for a few reasons: The scorecard is very large and hard to read. Even with each of the three Features tiers grouped together, I can't put those groups into a "features" group on their own because scorecards doesn't support nested groups Using the groups, I can roll up each tier into a tier score (A core score, a premium score, etc.) but I cannot roll them all into an Overall score. I worked around this by creating a bionic rule to calculate the Overall score myself, but all I can do is average the three tiers together. All the measures have specific weights assigned to them, and when I just average out the scores, it doesn't rollup to be a true reflection of churn risk. These issues could be solved if I was able to create two 2.0 scorecards that could both be kept updated for each account. Alternatively, the ability to create nested groups would solve both of these problems as well. I know there is an issue where you cannot move a measure into a group after it's been established though, so I would also need the ability to do that so that I can keep all the historical data gathered so far. These ideas would greatly improve my experience with Gainsight as a whole, and would make mine, and our CSMs lives much easier in the future.
When creating reports/dashboards in SFDC I have the ability to include null values or remove null values as a filter option. I would like to be able to do the same thing in Gainsight.
Hi Team, One of our customer wanted to log emails to timeline when a program is sent via Journey Orchestrator Currently we don’t have this functionality in Gainsight. Do we have this in our road map ? Thanks Sandeep
Use case: For my Load to People rule, I need to map a multi-select field from SFDC (Contact: Role Type) to a multi-select dropdown I created for the corresponding field on the Company Person object. How can I do this without using a case expression transformation to account for each possible variation?
Currently PX does not allow for widget-level filters on Query Builder report widgets on the Dashboard: Because of this, it is currently an arduous task to edit the date range visible on this widget as you have to go into the Query Builder report, edit the date range and save, then come back to the widget and see the updated data. This almost entirely defeats the point of the Query Builder report being visible on a Dashboard Widget, as the need to change date ranges is something that happens frequently.
I would like to propose a configuration option when building a survey to hide the question number. A nice alternative would be to have a progress bar that shows the recipient how far along they are in the survey instead.
I am working on a low volume custom object that will act as a way to submit a request to SFDC. I want to have a field where I write a rule to populate the ID created in SFDC for a foreign key, but I want to make sure the field is not editable. How can I update the settings in data management to make a custom field read only?
It would be great if we could configure all types of reports to be delivered via email to multiple recipients, right now you can only subscribe yourself to query builder reports, but this is very limiting.
It would be great if we could configure a summary report to be delivered into Slack that would summarize the NPS Score and Trend
This feature was automatically published in the Jan release without much heads up to Admins and is causing confusion. This is not a configurable alert, though if it were it could be very powerful for admins to maintain their programs. I reached out to support and the recipient and how it is triggered is not configurable Configurable needs:Who alerts go to - should not go to the creator as creator may no longer be with the company. Admins should be able to default an email (ideally like you can with rules engine) What triggers the rule. This is often triggering bc a participant meets the unique criteria, which is an intended failure. Items like a null value for a token field however are valuable No indication of % drops. This would be great to have included as it could be an indication there is an error within the email mapping (embedded reports, permissions) or that there are a large amount of bouncesOther threads on this:
In the Plan Info section of success plans, you are able to edit several fields at once but when you save, only the most recent is saved. Can this be updated to be a page level save rather than a field level save? This is a horrible user experience.
Our sales ops team has been merging accounts, which is leaving me with legacy IDs over in MDA. That, in turn, is causing failures in rules when trying to update those (now missing) account records. What's frustrating is that I can't find a way to query any of my MDA tables by that ID. I have a unique 18-digit SFDC ID and every time I try to filter by that value I'm forced to enter the account name. But I don't know it, that's what I'm trying to look up! My suggestion is that the lookup functionality (type the customer name) be limited to when the NAME value is used. If a report builder selects the ID value, they probably mean it. At a minimum, I'd like to be able to filter on that value from within Data Management which is (obviously) the underlying data and accessible only by those with ultimate power and control. 😉
Hello! This is a minor QOL improvement for dashboards that I think would make for a smoother end user experience. Currently, if a user clicks the “Maximize” button after adding an ad hoc filter to a column header in a tabular report the filter is cleared when the report reopens in fullscreen. If possible, it would be nice to have that filter carry through to the maximized report.
We are currently onboarding approximately 25 different product teams to our instance of Gainsight. We have decided, rather than to add dozens of custom fields to the relationship table for each product team, that we will create a custom low-volume object (as needed) for each team. This only adds one additional field to the Relationship object, and keeps things cleaner. The problem now is that users don’t know where to go to edit their data. If it’s a “standard field”, they make changes on the attributes page. But if it’s one of their custom fields, they have to navigate to the related list, open the related record in edit mode, and update the data there. This is not an ideal experience. Users have to remember which fields are located on each object, and then navigate and edit accordingly. Since these objects have a 1:1 relationship with the Relationship object, we are requesting that those fields are also able to be edited from the R360 attributes page. So in essence, any time a relationship (or Company) looks up to another low-volume object, Gainsight would allow fields on that object to be made editable on the R30/C360 layout. I believe it already works this way when you need to edit a Company-level field from the R360.
