The current “Feedback” tab of the KC bot doesn’t provide options for customization to let our users know what the feedback is for, ACK - what happens once feedback is submitted. Consider addressing the following requests - Provide an option to customize the text in the box before entering the feedback Customized ACK message after submitting the feedbackA good reference for these requests would be the flexible text options in the “survey” type engagement setup.
We've noticed that the knowledge center bot is a bit rigid in its customization options right now. We would like to be able to change the options in the Feedback tab since the current options listed aren't well suited to our needs. We do feedback through other integrations right now so we wanted to set this tab up more for customer support. Right now the only customization possible is the ability to change the name on the Feedback tab which doesn't help us much because we can't also customize the categories for the feedback to be more related to support.
We would like to see which dashboards our users are visiting and which are neglected.
If you want to use a report widget to find and display the count of unique values, you cannot do this if your field is a picklist. For example, if you are reporting on timeline entries, and you have a picklist on them and want to answer “in this subset of timeline entries, how many different picklist values from [field] were used?” you would not be able to do that. Your picklist would need to be converted into a string field, which would involve either doing the whole thing in Data Designer, using a rule to convert your picklist to string data in another field, or not using picklists to begin with. If you do end up using a string field instead of a picklist, regardless of the method you use to get there, you lose the functionality of a picklist, especially in filters.
Presently the logical operators in the KC bot recommended content rules is hard coded, and not available in the UI. Testing reveals that:Multiple values in a single rule term are evaluated as OR Multiple terms in a single rule are evaluated as OR Multiple rules are evaluated as ANDFor multiple terms in a single rule, and multiple rules , it would be great to have the AND/OR rule logic dropdowns that we’re used to in Engagement Audience Logic.
It would be great to be able to make specific Timeline entries stand out or pinned to the top. Many times there is an entry with notes about the customer such as Important info about key players or information that an executive might need to know before they meet with someone. Another idea would be to color code different type of entries so they can be easily identified.
Hi team,(I saw a couple of threads on this but they were either old or marked as solved. But let me know if I missed something) Our end users have had a constant need over the years for one thing: see ARR or other monetary fields converted to the same currency. We have multi-currency enabled and it works fine but the we’re missing something as simple as being able to quickly look and compare the ARR of two customers when looking at the table. This is particularly difficult in regions of the world where multi-currencies are used (ex: APAC). Or simply being able to export a report with the all accounts showing their ARR on the same currency. Not having this makes our users relying more in other systems (ex: SFDC) and less in Gainsight. Is something planned right now that would solve this? Or an work-around? Thanks in advance!
3 activities select members need to be able to do on the Community and it is Not Moderation, to progress along the Community-led mission.Recognize and show my trust in them to:Create their own Groups* Post their own Events Blogpost ArticlesNow these are ‘non-moderation’ activities meaning they would need to be available to certain Custom Roles, outside the Control panel and offered as end user options I want to enable my next phase of sub-community or chapter leaders with.*P.S. I’ve highlighted self creation of Groups (not categories) as Categories are a strategic nav item that is owned by the Community manager (in sync with program owners). This is for us to gear for the next wave of growth, C2C or Customer to Customer, where you take the Org out of the equation in a calculated way [Beth McIntyre], for certain programs and further along the Community-led path.
Possibly the worst first time experience at the moment on CS is that the first tab in the menu is AE (Unless CX Center is available). I strongly believe that Adoption Explorer should live in Administration. And if not, then it has to be moved lower than Cockpit, Timeline etc. As a first time user will admin access you are going to click into AE and have a bad experience.PX is currently doing an A* job of this.
We connected the SalesForce plug in but it doesn’t not distinguish from Prospect and Client. The community we have is for Clients only. I need to be able to filter out the prospects and only import client accounts into the Engagement Analytics Dashboard. Can we get more selectiveness from the Salesforce import?
I’d like the ability to minimize the CTAs within the Cockpit all the at once so I can then decide which Account’s CTAs I’d like to look at. It’s much easier to read. As of now I close each one manually so I can see it in a more digest-able format. I typically do this in the Company view.
This one is a little tricky to verbally explain so I’ve recorded a video. The gist is that:Once you schedule it, the user should remain on the Data Design, as opposed to moving to the list view. It should not require a re-run which starts automatically; rather, it should provide a prompt with the option to re-run. Thanks!
Would love to see an easier way for users to be notified of pending drafts to be resolved in Timeline. We frequently find CSMs with many unresolved Drafts in Timeline because they are emailing contacts that are not in Gainsight, but it’s happening silently (they are never notified after sending the email that it wasn’t logged, and they are never notified when there are drafts pending their review in Timeline).Unfortunately I also cannot figure out how to create my own report to show this to CSMs in their dashboard, so if someone has an idea on how I might be able to create a report to show this, that would be useful as well! I’ve tried to create a report from Email Log v2 and Activity Timeline with no luck.
It seems very strange to me that when using the widget, the knowledge center is expandable to provide the user with more space to view a video or article. However, if I use the embedded (mapped to UI element) option, the knowledge center is NOT expandable. Can the ability for the user to expand the KC bot be added to the embedded bot option?I believe this is also what @molly.phillips was referencing in another idea post. Apologies, Molly, if I’ve misunderstood your comment.
Ability to add Risk CTA’s to success plans. i.e. There is a risk tied to a given objective, meaning it cannot be completed and therefore a risk to the success plan.
Within our site, a community member suggested to change the upvote indicator. His idea is as follows:“How about enhancing this site so you know when you’ve already upvoted something? I find myself clicking it to see if the number goes down or up to know if I’ve already voted. From the actual suggestion page (this page), that is not intuitive. When you hover of it, having already upvoted, the blue turns to white. So when I click it, it essentially stays white, and then I click it again, and it’s still white, until I move my mouse off.” Thank you 😄
Hey Team, I have a scenario where I’ve merged two rules into the same feature mapping, resulting in a feature mapping that is now redundant, and surplus to requirement. When I go to delete the feature, I receive the error ‘The feature is being used within an engagement audience. Please remove and try again’.It would be great to add to this messaging to let us know which engagement(s) the feature is used in, so the audience can be adjusted appropriately. If I don’t know, I could be looking through 10s, if not 100s of engagements.Similarly, if the feature is used in multiple engagements it would be useful to be able to bulk/mass edit engagements to remove/replace features from the engagement logic - doing this individually for 10s or 100s would be a bad UX!Thanks!
When you delete an engagement, it would be helpful if the engagement went to a “trash” or “archive” area instead of being completely deleted. Administrators could then go to that area and undelete engagements.Accidents can happen where someone accidentally deletes the wrong engagement. This feature would make it easy to reverse deletion.
We often get users logging activities late, and so it appears that the dependent processes should have run, but really the creation was late and therefore the processes have not caught up yet. Petition to allow adding system fields such as “Created Date” so that users and managers have clear visibility when self-serving to determine why dependent processes seem to be out of date.
it would be useful to have a count added to the Survey reports that shows how many users clicked the exit button or dropped the survey before completing it. Since Multi-Question Surveys can use branching logic it would be helpful for customers to have a quick glance to see how many users did not answer certain questions because they exited early. Adding these numbers as a drop point for each step in the survey would be visually helpful.
The documentation for the Email Assist Plug-in states: LimitationWhen the Gainsight Assist Chrome Plug-in is used along with the Mixmax chrome extension, the email does not get logged to the Timeline when the Log to Timeline option is selected while sending emails from the compose mode. As a workaround, users must go to Sent Emails and log the email to Timeline. Is there any development work planned around this limitation? Thanks,James
Bubble charts are a great way to visualize data, but I wish they showed the number value of the bubble chart, not just the axis label for the field value. Kind of like how pie charts show the count and the percentage, with the field value label in the axis.
