Posting on behalf of a customer:Trigger more than 1 bot per session (in other words, 1 for URL1 and 1 for all other URLs) without using API or Global Context Use case: There’s a specific beta feature (on a particular URL) we want feedback on. Using the bot would be great for this to gather feedback, but we can’t have that run concurrently with the other more general bot in the same session.
I have a customer that has a use case to need a dynamic field / option fro the “sender address”.They have a number of accounts that don’t have data for the field they are using as the sender and they would like to use one program and have that field change to a default value to still send. I think this would be huge and a major asset to JO.
The ability to edit success plans objectives for internal collaborators doesn’t make sense semantically or technically. We need this to be improved for usability AND to make sense with the promise to “edit all objectives”: A Success Plan objective (CTA) is made of:A name A company associated A due date An owner A priority A status A category Success criteria (description) Comments (description type field) Ability to add a playbook Sub-tasks with their own set of name, due date, description HOWEVERWe’re only able to edit some of the attributes of the objective. Which doesn’t make sense. It’s not what editing an objective means. It’s not comprehensive and is selling something it does NOT do. WHAT WE MUST BE ABLE TO DOEditing an objective consequently must give us the ability to:Change the name (possible) Change the due date (not possible, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN) Change the owner (not possible, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN) Change the priority (possible) Change the status (possible) Success criteria (possible) Change the comments (possible) Add tasks (not possible, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN) Change the due date on a task (not possible, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN) Change the owner on a task (not possible, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN)
A community member pointed out today that it would be helpful if there was an in-app notification when someone @mentions you, and not just an email notification.
We would like the ability to add placeholder or default text to rich text fields. The specific use case is related to a need in our success plans. In the plan info, we would like to have instructions in the fields that help the user understand what type of info to put in them. Currently it has “Insert text here”, but it can’t be changed. This would be helpful to have the option to change this text.
Horizon dashboard reports require users to manually click a link to load and display the Total number of records. As a result, multiple user clicks are required when this data is needed for multiple reports. It would be more efficient and improve the overall user experience if we could configure this data to display by default for all users, eliminating the need for multiple user clicks.
Hi Team,As per the product behavior, in the program, if there is any null value present in the participant token then the JO program will not the CTA at the CTA creation step and the participant will be dropped from the program.Thank you.
Would be great if there was some sort of image repository where you could save the images that you use frequently in JO Programs. For example, company logos or email footers, etc. I can get around this now by just saving the images I need in templates and then cloning to use in a new template, but it would be great to not have to do that and just have the images ready to chose when creating a template.
Connectors 2.0 Filters do not have “in” or “not in” operator. This exists in other features of Gainsight. Why isn’t it also available in Connectors?
Currently the content in the xliff is not reported in a sequential fashion as the content of the engagement in every line will be segregated into units randomly and therefore the same is exported in the XLIFF file. This random html unit content is extremely difficult to follow and makes translation very hard to do in a quality and efficient manner. The translator must find the random units in order to review several sentences in the context and order that is required. Community- please vote for this request. Your vote matters. I appreciate you and will pay it forward! Please provide a solution - Gainsight team! Thanks and many blessings!Janine
Idea: It would be much appreciated if our administrators could create and maintain multiple Home pages and assign access similarly to the Dashboards. We are aware that our Users are able to customize their own Home Pages. However, most of our Users do not care to do so and we see very little uptake for personalized customizations. This is because our environment is complex and the User’s primary artifacts change often. Constant enablement would be required for them to maintain their Home Page.We have difficulty bringing Users into GS because they like to sell their own way. Adding extra work in the Gainsight environment is seen as more difficult than relying on what they have already built today. Our attempt is to lure them into GS with as little work on their part as possible. Simply sign in and they have all they need. Standardization is the goal for us as we grow, not customization (unless it’s done by the administrators on a team wide basis).
When adding a new filter in reports, when you click in “Field” the pop up to search for a field comes up but the focus remains on the field named “Field” and doesn’t move to the search field. It would be great to shift the focus to the pop up window.
When multiple options are selected from a multi-select dropdown list, each option is displayed separated only by a; delimiter with no spacing or any ability to include spacing. As a result, the data appears messy when multiple enums are selected (e.g.: Option A;Option B;Option C;Option D;Option E;Option F). Introducing the ability to force spacing between the selected enums or customize how multiple enums are displayed would reduce the visual noise/clutter.
I really like the Trash feature with HA Reports & Dashboards. However, it may be just how I’m using it, but report/dashboard names have to be unique, including being unique from any that are in Trash.I frequently clone a report or dash, make some minor adjustments or play around with formatting/grouping/showing etc, and if I like it better I’ll trash the old one, but then I can’t name my new one the same name. So I have to go back to Trash, rename the Trashed report “Archived” or “Deleted”, then I can name my new report the name I want to. It would save me some time if a deleted report either didn’t count towards the duplicate name restriction, or if a deleted report automatically affixed “Archived” or “Deleted” or something to distinguish it from future reports that will want to have the same name.
We are stetting up groups for our members, and finding the lack of configuration after created to be an issue. I’d like to see the ability to reorder the groups, as well as change the group from public to private, or vise versa, with the existing group members grandfathered in.
When selecting to clone a rule, I’d like to be able to change the source data. For example, we have a rule that fires a CTA based on NPS response with a couple of other factors, so the rule is pretty complex. I want to be able to clone it from quarter to quarter and change the source to the new NPS survey data. Instead, I have to open one window with the old rule and one window with the new rule and then, manually recreate it with the new data set.
Hi,I’d like to create a new field for my Success Plans, and it should contain 2 or more users/contacts from the customer company or even my company.I’ve been able to create a single contact one, but not with more people in it. To clarify, it’s like the Internal/External Attendees field we have in Tasks details. I believe this would be a great add to the toolThanks
It would be great if we could format the number that goes into a report widget. This would include being able to add a dollar sign, percent sign, how many decimals are shown, etc.
It would be super handy for admins searching for rules with no actions if we could use the Action Name filter built in to the Rules screen to filter for rules with 0 actions. I’m currently cataloguing some rules and need to find action-less config, and it’s a bit of a pain to do in this screen.
We’d love to have the ability to only include one data label, rather than have both the percent and number. For our use case, we’d like to omit the number and only include percent. We’d also like to have the ability to increase the font size of the data labels.
Additional enhancement to the points by @sean_wilson here LINK: I love Widgets on Dashboards - really calling out insights that can be drilled into for more details. Ran into an issue when a pivot is made by the business. A new account attribute is core to our process moving forward. In our case, it replaces an older field that will be depreciated. So we need to weed out and remove the old, and add the new core account attribute to reports, drill-downs, and dashboard filters. ISSUE: This field is two lookups deep! To remove it from Widget Drill-Downs I have to go through a number of gymnastics of scrolling, clicking to expand, scrolling, expanding and hitting the checkbox on the Add Field section. PLEASE ADD A WAY TO REMOVE A FIELD AT THE COLUMN LEVEL AND NOT THE ‘+’ FIELD MENU!Great progress on being able to rename and reorder easily in HA Reporting - this is one further enhancement that gives Admins the ability to stay nimble while not having to do menu gymnastics as we evolve in our account and contact data. Thanks,DB
Two of the biggest headaches in GS administration are adding columns to the drill-downs in Report Builder, and adding filters. Biggest headache is that if I change any of my "By" fields, the columns shown on drill-downs reset themselves. So I then have to set the columns manually again. As an example of why this is an issue, we have CSR teams and we just changed our dashboards from showing the Team # to the Team Name. These are both fields on the same object, so there is no reason we needed to change the columns displayed on the drill-down; yet since I was changing the "By" field, these reset and I had to go manually set them again. I had to do this to 10 reports; what should have taken me 5 minutes took about 30 because I had to set the columns back to what they were before 10 times. What would be REALLY great would be the ability to set/edit these for multiple reports at once. We have the same set of columns displayed on many of our reports, yet if we want to add/change a column, we have to go into EVERY. SINGLE. REPORT. that uses those columns and change them. It would be ideal to be able to create "column sets" based on the base object type for a report, and then apply these sets to multiple reports. It could be done through Report Builder, or, even better, through an interface that lists all reports for an object type and allows you to apply the column list to some or all of these reports (much like Dashboard Permissions). This way, we make the change once, and all associated reports update automatically. Would make it much easier for us to administer, as well as provide consistency between reports when updates are made. The latter idea would also be really useful with report filters as well. We have many reports that have identical filters so we can use them as global dashboard filters. It would be great to be able to edit these en masse for all reports that use the same filter set, rather than have to go in and edit each and every one individually. I've even resorted to updating the filters by updating the underlying data in the Salesforce table where this data is stored because it is quicker to copy and paste and upload than to do it manually. So mass report-editing for these two components (drill-down columns and filters) would be ideal; being able to create column/filter sets and apply them to individual reports (so that the reports update when the set is updated) would at least be a step in the right direction.
Is there anything on the roadmap that will allow us to join different objects for reporting without writing rules to merge data in MDA tables? (which is a heavy process for a simple report).
