End users want the ability to widen a report that exists on a dashboard if the data populated on the report appears a bit too cramped. Similar to how an admin can widen or narrow the default size of the container in Layouts, give end users the ability to widen or narrow the container size when they view the dashboard if they want to make the view larger or smaller for themselves. Bonus points if you can make it sticky!
I would love for the ability to provide help text on Dashboard filters in order to do the following:Indicate which reports the filter does/does not apply to A quick how-to of what the filter means and how to use it Just provide generla definitionsHas this use case never come up? I can’t find an existing post about it but am very surprised!
Having a question library is great, and really speeds up adding identical questions either from different surveys or from within the survey, but what if we could clone entire pages and sections? Just like the clone question tool, this would allow you to clone a whole page at once while preserving the question order. Ideally, you would also have the option to import question logic as well. Why? If you have a main topic question, with dependant questions farther down the page it would greatly speed the process up to import the logic as well.
We can only search for customer name to find out a customer ? We tried contact name and only if its a primary contact its listing in the search. Is there a way we can search for other contacts in SFDC and also search by email, phone number etc?
It would be great to be able to reorder the tabs along the top of CTA detail layout. If you have multiple linked objects, it's easy to have 3 or 4 tabs, and in some cases the linked object tabs are more important than the Customer/Relationship or Call to action tabs.
When you expand a report in report builder, it would be helpful if the Source Object were listed.
Hello I did some due diligence, looked in Community and Support, asked GS Support, so I think my understanding and request are good. If you are reporting against a SFDC object, you have the option to add filters for "Current Calendar Quarter" or "Current Fiscal Quarter", which can be very different for some orgs. However, when targeting an MDA object for reporting, I can only do "Current Quarter", which shows CALENDAR YEAR only. Can we add an option for Fiscal Year?
In Report Builder, when you create a report and do a Group By, it would be immensely useful if the ‘count’ field can be hyperlinked and/or clickable to show the data they are counting/aggregating.In the example below, I created a report that shows # of specific timeline entries by quarter. We would love if the count fields can be clickable/hyperlinked to show the data its counting (similar functionality when you create a widget or click on a chart) Although this report provides good visibility for Managers and CSMs, there is an additional appetite to take a deeper dive into the data that is being aggregated. Our current workaround is to provide a ‘deep dive report, that is basically the same as the above report, minus the aggregation
Hello,I am soooo disappointed. I am going to have to do a JO with inconsistent font. I am doing a Generic survey JO and the Survey font and the email template font are not the same list. ahhhhh.. i honestly didn’t realize till my marketing team noticed it. Well, Please fix this soon. Best Regards,Darshana Shah
Hi, We have timeline entry types that we want to only allow specific users however we haven’t found the security to be granular enough to support this. Is there any workaround possible for this otherwise can we request a product enhancement for additional granularity on the security permissions?
It would be helpful to be able to skip weekends in reporting. Especially around reports that look at weekly/daily performance by individuals, it would be nice to be able to exclude weekends.
Currently in Gainsight, there are a couple rollup fields that are available out of the box (open cases and open tasks). Rolling up number of records is a very common use case as most CSMs would like to see things like: Count of Escalated Cases Count of Open/Won/About to Close Opportunities Count of Contacts Count of completed Surveys And many more… These are simple use cases to solve for but within Gainsight, you currently need to build bionic rules to count these records. Building rules for this is a bit cumbersome and also leads to a 2 hour delay on the counts. This provides a less than ideal solution for clients who want to see realtime counts and not have the data delayed. Within other systems, admins are able to create roll-up summary fields to easily count records. Is it possible to get a solution similar to what is provide in tools like Salesforce so that its easier for Admins to create these roll-up fields and also have the calculation run in real time so that there is no delay on the data.
We have several sue cases with Data Designer and Rules where we are using Salesforce objects that, without the joins, would update real-time for CSMs. We would like to schedule as close to real-time as possible, but understand there need to be some limitations on the amount of times a job can run. Currently, CRON expressions can not be more frequent than every 2 hours, or 12 times per day. If we are limited to 12 runs in a 24 hour period, we would prefer to push these updates when the CSMs are looking for the information during the day, and not overnight when other jobs are most likely to cause a conflict. Our proposed step in the right direction here would be to run a job hourly for 12 hours out of the day, such as 7 am - 7 pm. There would be the same number of runs per 24 hour period, but the CSMs would have closer to real-time information when they are working.
Hi Team, I’m raising this request to get support on data type “Rich Text Area” dataType in "External Actions" or a checkbox in rule fetch task to enable support of Rich Text Data.Current Behaviour : We can only “string” data type : https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5upJAzo Reason: While pushing CTA data from GS to JIRA via External actions & rule, the data in the “Rich text area” field is unable to parse the HTML/Json formatting based on our expectation. Example : SS1: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uQ8NPn SS2: https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0urm4wj
Some CSMs continue to use Evernote / Onenote / Trello etc for note taking because Timeline requires an internet connection to access.. (web and mobile) To stop notes being taken outside of Gainsight, can we create a solution to allow offline note taking within the C360 page.
For much of the reporting for DOMO customers in Px...would really like a DOMO integration capability...for more customer info, let me know. https://www.domo.com/platform/connect
We’re finding ourselves trying to override the default CSS with every template. It would be ideal for us to be able, from an administrative or development right, to set the default CSS for guides classified custom templates so that they at a match our design system without any additional editing when creating a new template.
Given how important the “ignore throttling” option is and how people can (ab)use it, I believe it deserves to have it’s place/column in the main list of all engagements when you go to the https://app.aptrinsic.com/engagement page.Right now I can’t know which engagement has this option ticked without going inside of every one. Please take this into consideration. I believe it wouldn’t be too hard to implement too :)
I’m using Data Designer to create forecast reports. In doing so, I have a number of case statements to determine the forecasted dollar amount. Currently, the only field type options are String, Number and Boolean. It would be great to have Currency as an output option.
The default Reason sorting in Cockpit categorizes Objectives into “NA”, rather than reading the Objective Category. As this is the intended behaviour based on this article FAQ, it seems that the Horizon Experience missed the mark with this sorting by not considering rolled up Objectives.
With the recent Horizon upgrade of Timeline, users have lost the ability to edit a previously saved draft while also viewing a timeline entry. The business case here is that our CSMs open a draft Timeline Activity before a meeting and copy/past notes from past activities to be able to make an agenda. Now, in order to edit a draft entry, they must go to the Drafts screen which then doesn’t allow them to have the previous activities open unless they open a second window and go back and forth between the two.It would be great if we could continue to edit drafts from the main timeline page.
