Request: Gmail Plugin: have the date of the timeline entry match the date of the email It seems like any time we go on PTO and come back to log emails, the timeline date is added as the date you logged it, not the date the email came in. It can be pretty frustrating as going in to change the dates manually is way too time-consuming, but keeping them as the date they were logged is 100% inaccurate in terms of customer engagement timing.
Hello All, We had a suggestion that came to us from one of our CSMs and we would love to see this addition. Our teams would love to be able to change the email date via Gainsight Assist, instead of having to navigate to Timeline. The example that was given was: One of our CSMs went on vacation and forgot to log an email to their timeline via Gainsight Assist. They went back and utilized Gainsight Assist and the date defaults to the date they are adding it to the timeline, which might not be the date the email conversation took place. They know they can go back on that timeline entry and edit the date, but it would be handy to have the ability to do this directly within Gainsight Assist. This would be a great addition that would streamline the process for them, given that above scenario probably happens more than we think it does.
Hello Team,One of the customers requested us regarding the one login for Gainsight CS, University and Gainsight Community. They are suggesting that it is better to have one login for everything in Gainsight.
Posting on behalf of a customer. Currently there doesn’t exist an exclusive C360 section for community based information. There are out of the box report widgets but they can only be added to the summary section of the C360 and the reports are limited. Customer would like the ability to have an exclusive section for community information similar to how we have exclusive sections for scorecard information, surveys, etc.
I need to be able to add a report to a dashboard that is built from a standard object, or has a lookup to a standard object, and have the option to enable inline editing for custom fields I’ve added to the object.I have a team that needs to see a territory/regional view of persons, with inline editable fields for the person in the report. Currently, to achieve this, I have to force the exact same data from that standard object to a separate low volume object. Doing it this way causes issues because I can only push data to that object every two hours, when real-time updates would be ideal. If a custom field from the person was allowed to be edited, it would update the object and give everyone the data needed across the platform immediately. It seems counterproductive to not allow this since I’m essentially storing ‘person’ data in a non-person object just to allow inline editing, but it’s not on the person object so this causes many limitations.
Allow authors to specify “Related Articles” as an option to “Automatically Relate Topics”. The algorithm does not work well, especially when the knowledgebase contains documentation for multiple, similar, but distinct products.
When using 'Email Assist', if I edit the email template, and then add a new CTA using the Playbook that includes that email template, then the changes I made to the template are not represented. I need to go to the Playbook, delete the Email Task, add a new Email Task using the same email template (which has now been edited), and then set all of the Tokens yet again. In addition, I would need to find all the currently existing CTAs and replace their Playbooks so that they pick up the new template. My preferred use case would be that, as soon as I edit the template, it would be used immediately for any Email Tasks that are previewed/drafted after that point. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but filing it under 'Problem'!
My team often will bulk-sync their emails to Timeline, meaning they will wait until a specific day and sync all important emails to Timeline at once. In this scenario, they often get multiple Timeline drafts for the same customer, and these take a bit of time to resolve one-by-one. It would be nice if the users could select multiple email drafts at once and select the Company association for all selected entries.
Sure would be great if the Email Templates “Used In” accounted for use of templates in Playbooks.
Currently, there is a ‘User Daily Feature Matches’ standard S3 report with daily rollups of feature use, but ideally we would have a ‘User Feature Matches’ report that includes each individual feature use event as a single line item, including the timestamp of the event, the user identifier, as well as any global context fields attached to the feature use event. This report would function similarly to the ‘User Custom Events’ report, which includes a unique line item for each use of the custom events, along with their custom attributes and global context fields, but for feature use instead of custom events.
There's no option available to save a topic draft either online or with 'download as' function. Setting up a new topic takes quite some time so it's understandable someone might want to take a break, is unable to continue due to meetings or just wants to sleep on it before the final check. Semi-offtopic: Just lost a big part of a post due to (I think) a random temporary disconnect. Whatever the case, losing your work for no apparent reason is by far the biggest demotivation. If we want to create an active and engaging TW community, I think it's extremely important to make sure no user is held back or demotivated by losing their draft.
Had this come over a few times in support. Basically the idea is to have a single user with multiple acceptable domains. Sometimes the logged in user has an email that isn't actually the address they send through all the time. This request is to be able to associate multiple email addresses to one user in order to have multiple acceptable domains. While they can add the user with another address it is not a good experience to have to manage both bcc addresses. In another case I have seen, a customer email address was actually forwarding through another email address due to a company domain name change. Thus when they view their ETT inbound email address it is showing the incorrect bcc address. I'll also add that the workaround of adding a separate user is not really feasible as they won't have access to the drafts if they are logging in through another user.
We have added Events to Learning Paths and then have scheduled events for the next couple of months. Only users who have registered for the Learning Paths can see the scheduled events. Internally, we need to see that schedule and it would be beneficial for customers who haven’t registered for the Learning Path yet to see the schedule. This might even be a good way to help sell the Learning Path! Can you add a way to see a real-time schedule even if the Learning Path has not been registered for?
There are no help topics on the customer experience (learner mode). When beginning the onboarding with CE, it would be helpful to have help topics that assist with understanding the behavior of each page.
CE currently has the notion of three different types of classes: courses, events and learning paths. And the solution is built with this in mind. Our customers don’t care if a class they are taking is a course, event or learning path. And internally, we don’t care if the classes our customers have completed are courses, events or learning paths. We just want to see what “classes” a customer has completed. With this in mind, we would like to see a single page showing all of the class offerings on the one page instead of a customer having to navigate three pages to see all of the class offerings.
Hi Product Team,I am raising this on behalf of one of our customer Seismic Software, they have Zoom AI integration and want to pull Zoom AI recap timeline entries into related Success Plans.Currently its not possible to view C360 Timeline entries in Success Plan Timeline ALSO there is no API to associate these entries to a Success Plan.Customer feels there should be a toggle just like Cockpit Configuration → General → Show All Activities in CTA which would show Company and Relationship Timeline entries in CTA timeline, there should be a similar option for Success Plans too. This use case would help users who would look at the Success Plan level specifically would benefit from full visibility to the Timeline. And having this configurable by admins within the system is best to allow the use case that best fits that individual tenant.More context in customers own words -“My Users and account teams use Success Plans to coordinate and plan their annual strategy for addressing challenges and working towards goals within the Success Plan view. Having everything in 1 place and allowing Email threads and other milestone / automated timeline entries to be visible within the Success Plan view (exactly the same as the CTA view) would be greatly beneficial.Especially for my executives, I would rather have everything in 1 place than require them to navigate to the 360 to view the wholistic Timeline.”CC: @AshutoshSingh
It would be helpful to have the ability to include field descriptions or tooltips for fields that you have created on Success Plans or CTA's. (Example Below.)
Hi Team,Regarding the Through-Partner Customer Success admin page access is only available to super admin users.Client FloQast, Inc., has inquired about the possibility of implementing custom permission sets for full users to access Through-Partner CS, rather than requiring super admin access.Reason: The team includes members who manage partner relationships and are better suited to handle this page. However, these individuals do not require comprehensive super admin rights.
We recently learned the hard way that objects created via Data Designer are not supported with Data Permissions. To us, this means one of a few things impact-wise:Either we cannot control the visibility of records in a Data Designer table. We have to create a custom reporting layer, by mirroring DD tables into a Low Volume table, automate the population of data to the reporting layer, update all of our reports and dashboards to report off these new tables, and then apply data permissions accordingly. Scrap the use of Data Designer altogether, and do it the old-fashioned way of creating our own custom tables and populating them with data from the rules engine. Create multiple versions of each Data Designer table, each report, and each dashboard, and show them to the appropriate users. In my opinion, the most scalable option here is to completely abandon the use of the Data Designer feature, and go back to a time when Data Designer didn’t exist. Which is truly an unfortunate outcome. We would love to see Data Designer enhanced to allow for Data Permissions to be applied, and filter records accordingly.
The user look up functionality on a dashboard filter is stripped for any user fields that are in a data design created MDA table. Normally when you create a report and filter by user ID, GS automatically enables a user look up functionality which is so fantastic and removes any issue of misspelling or needing to capitalize a name (since that can be an issue, depending on where the data is stored). Unfortunately, that functionality goes away when you create an MDA via data designer. Users then have to manually type our their name or others, which is not the end of the world, but an inconsistent user experience that can be hard to explain
Our leadership has asked for the “Score History (Last 18 weeks)” visual to be available as a widget. We’d like to see the image below in a single report for all customers by customer. Customer Name Score History (Last 18 weeks) Acme Co. Soylent Corp Wonka Industries Monsters Inc.
