I would need Gainsight CE to track individual activities in a course. Now, it is only possible to track the quiz portion of the activities inside courses, and the average time it takes learners to complete a course but it does not track this at an activity level.
It would be great if it would be possible to create a parallel connection in an organisation map without a manager. For example, if A and B report to C, they can be mapped easily. But if we want to add D in parallel to C (without having a manager), it would be great to do so.
The KC Bot that is enabled by Gainsight and visible by our Partner Users is causing issues. When using the Partner User feature you are unable to view your profile but on the KC Bot there is a Get Started Section which the first task takes you to the Profile page which then throws a 403 Error. This is a terrible experience and is causing unnecessary issues, so either the KC Bot needs to be disabled for these users, or the Profile section needs to be made visible to them.
I use search quite often to find discussions around topics that I have recently seen and need to pull up again - however, the search does not allow me to arrange the results based on most recent or creation date, which makes it almost impossible to use in my community for this use case. Please implement search options that allow me to find recent discussions or questions rather than randomly pulling from an unspecified date range. It might also make sense for technical communities where issues shift overtime and a conversation from a year ago may be a very different solution that may be required today.
We have really started to leverage the custom pages in our community which is making the backend admin management of these pages messy. I would like to see some enhancements to make managing these pages more seamless.Status open - when I’m building the pages I keep them visible to admin’s only, it would be huge if there was a way to indicate on the custom page hub if the page is live or hidden on the public site Filter to sort the order of the pages - Alpha, Date, Live or Hidden (feature request)Custom pages have been a great feature add for me, thank you!
One of the really cool things about the C360 redesign is that you can “Assign a Section” for Field Widgets. For example, I could have this “Days to Next Renewal” field take end users to our “Opportunities” C360 section with a simple click of a button. You can choose any C360 section. I’m just using Opportunities as an example.I would like to see this same functionality applied to report widgets. To expand on my above example, on the C360 Summary, I could source the Opportunity section and build a “Count of Open Opportunities” widget. Then direct end users to the Opportunities section just like in the example above. I realize there might be two obvious counterpoints:Just configure the drilldown for that widget - it accomplishes the same thing - That’s not fully true. Drilldowns don’t allow summing of information (e.g. ARR), nor does it have built-in links to each individual SFDC record like the report builder allows. Add an “Open Opportunities” number field to your Company object - This would technically solve what I’m asking for, but I’m trying to get out of the business of extra fields on the Company object because it inevitably leads to bloated processing times, tech debt, and overhead. Thanks for considering.
I'd love to be able to insert an image or screenshot into an Activity in the c360. I know we can currently save the image as a file and attach it to the Activity, but the extra click to save/attach the file and the end result (an image hidden behind a hyperlink) means I don't use that workflow very often.
As of today the Cheat Sheet Summary only analyzes the past 6 months of timeline activity in order to generate the summary. It would be nice if we gave customers the option to determine the timeframe they would like to analyze to generate the summary. For example, 3 months or 1 year’s worth of timeline activity. This would prove beneficial especially considering most renewals are yearly. With the current 6 month restriction a lot of valuable information is likely missed from the summary from the previous years renewal
Hello! How do we delete actions on the External Actions? I’m performing a deep cleaning and there are actions that I no longer need and some support based ones too. And, also they randomly sort: not by name, not by last modified, not by last added. In general the External Actions needs a lot of work to just be user friendly - seems to have been coded in a rush.
On Dashboards, you can hover over a Global filter, and the impacted reports are highlighted. It’s a bit subtle but it’s nice to have some indication that if you make a change, you know which reports were modified.Would love a similar function on GS Home. Given some of the limitations on filters, you may just be slapping reports/widgets on home and users need to tweak them individually - but unless there’s some other callout there’s no immediate way to know if your report should have changed and didn’t, or shouldn’t have changed.
On the new Gainsight Home page in the ‘My Portfolio’ section, would it be possible to update it so that it is clickable on the customer/company and have it open their Company page with details so that the CSM can navigate there quickly? It seems a bit of a long way round if you have to type the company name into the search bar. If this is possible already can someone advise on how to enable please?
Hello Team, When using a rich text widget, any changes to that field will not update for any user who has personalised that page, it remains a snapshot. WE've noted that it's possible to correct by refreshing the admin view, but hoping to understand how to fix the issue.Replicable Steps: 1. Go into Gainsight NXT, navigate to home.2. Personalize Gainsight Home – I added a test Rich Text widget at the bottom and saved my page.3. Note that the Gainsight Recent Updated is not underlined.4. Go, as admin, into Gainsight Home, make a change and save. In this case I have underlined the Gainsight Recent Updates and published.5. Go back to Gainsight Home under my profile and the prior section without the underline still shows. It does not update. Meaning that if anyone personalizes their Gainsight Home, unless they go in and restore the admin version, they will never see any updates we make to that page. Including our updates.
When configuring the Success Plan Type, I would like to be able to make certain fields added there required. For our current use case, we use Success Plans for customers at risk, and we currently have a field called Closure Summary that is used to describe how the risk was resolved. As we continue to evolve our processes for other Success Plan Types though, I can see the need for this becoming more and more common.2 suggestions:Ability to make fields on the Success Plan Type layout required. Bonus: Be able to only have the field required when the plan is marked as “Closed”
I couldn’t find a setting to do this, hence the idea.As the CTA Name can be used as identifier, is it possible to restrict the name to be updated if it was created by System Administrator? I know we can play with the Create CTA once in xx setting but that will not work if we have the same name convention in different rules/actions, and I can think of scenarios where the name can be used as a quick filter in a report.Let me explain the context:A CSM flagged a CTA that was created 3 times, 2 of them had the name we set up in the Action step (“XXX”). This is what I saw:The first two CTAs were modified by the CSM and the stored date time is after the rule ran on the 20th, but as it only shows the last one we can't say with 100% certainty what was the name of the CTAs at the moment the rule executed on the 20th (and the modification could be anything, not only the name)This is what happened: When the CSM updated the CTA name to “XYZ”, caused for the second one to be created on Feb 19th. Then the CSM also modified that second CTA from “XXX” to “XYZ”, causing a 3rd CTA to be created. She then left just one called “XYZ” and reverted the name of the second to “XXX” so when she reported the issue, with the limited audit log data we have on our end we could’ve easily mistaken the issue by a bug. Behind this issue were a lot of “what ifs” to ask the end user additional questions to try to identify the root cause ourselves instead of submitting a ticket to support.Long story short, a “CTA Rename” restriction might be useful, eg: Thanks,
First off, all the latest additions have been fantastic! However, I noticed that there was also a change to ideas in the backend. Specifically the product area dropdown now requires an additional click to search for another product area. Before you could select the dropdown, type in the the area needed, then select it.Now you have to select the dropdown, then you have to click search, and then type in the area and then select it.I’m guessing it may be related to the new feature allowing you to force the members to select a product area?I know this may seem like a small issue but for larger Communities those clicks add up over time.Could the team find a way to revert it back or change you can just search once you select the product area instead of having to select search?
Currently, when extracting data for new users in Audience Explorer or Query Builder, we need to manually adjust the date range each time (e.g., selecting "between" and setting specific reference dates). This makes it difficult to generate reports that automatically update based on relative time periods, such as "last month" or "last week."It would be extremely useful to have a dynamic date range selection feature that allows users to set filters like:"Last Month" "Last X Days" "Month to Date" "Rolling X Days"This would eliminate the need for manual updates, streamline reporting processes, and ensure that dashboards and CSV exports always reflect the most recent data without user intervention. If this functionality could be added to Query Builder and Audience Explorer, it would greatly improve efficiency for users who regularly analyze trends over time.Would love to hear if others face the same challenge and any potential workarounds!
Just noticing the metrics section for Customer Goals is now available. Would be great if you could limit the metrics that appear per Goal and allow the end user the ability to check which metric(s) they want to use and only display that one.Our use case - we have specific goals per products thus would be great to be able to set up in the Goals Library. Like this:Goal X has Metrics A, B, and C - end user only needs metric A, so “selects” that, and the others are hidden. Goal Y has Metrics D, E, and F - end user needs metric D and F, so “selects” those and E is hiddenIt feels like depending on the number of goals/metrics you have, that section is going to get unwieldy pretty quickly.
Hi, My company has multiple product lines. We get asked daily If there is a way to subscribe to individual products updates instead of ALL product updates. This would be beneficial for users to be able to select more specifically which products they want to be notified about.
As a Gainsight NXT version user and Admin, I would like the ability to provide linked/Clickable C360 Summary section widgets to my CSM’s based on Salesforce Objects. The tool is presently limited to only allowing MDA based objects like NPS, CTA’s and Success Plans to be clickable (and navigate to their correlated sections). Potential Solution: Enable a “linked object” setting and “lookup value” setting on any non-MDA summary page widgets that will allow a click-through to a “Cases” section on the C360 or any other correlated data. Pre-requisite: A section on the C360 with valid data object and at least one report
