Hello,To improve data visualisation and design, it would be great to add additional configurations to line charts (in parity with many other reporting tools), such as:Line weight Data label colour and text size Legend text size Axes enable/disable optionsThis would help when working with multi-line charts, improving readability and aesthetics. Thanks
Hi,In the 'past period' configuration mode, it is not possible to change the KPI trend colors (KPI type): 'down' is always red and 'up' is always green, which is not appropriate for many scenarios. This option, however, is available in 'dynamic goal' or 'static goal' modes. Thanks‘Past period’ config Dynamic goal config:
LOVE that this is finally available, love that it is controllable at not only the report but also the field level. However, here is some feedback, in order of priority:Restricted to tabular reports only, e.g. not drill downs. This limits our usability greatly. There’s a tradeoff to be made here on dashboard cleanliness. Still not possible on Scorecard widgets. This creates a huge disconnect since we especially need editability to be all connected with Mass Edit reports. That’s literally the point. Not possible on row-grouped reports. Maybe for the field that is enabled for row grouping, I could understand. But why not for the other columns? Because the report grouping and sorting may not be live-updateable anymore?
I’m sure many companies love having the ability for users to customize their own Gainsight Home. But others, like us, are trying to drive standardized views for our users so that everyone is looking at and using the same data in the same way. Admins should have the option of locking down user’s ability to customize Gainsight Home. We are not in a position to adopt it without such a feature.
Hi thereI need to analyze some data around participant failure reasons and ô surprise, I can’t do that within Gainsight because that value, which is a couple of dozen characters max, is stored as rich text.Which means:Can’t search Can’t filter Can’t group byIn short: can’t use.Meanwhile, Failure Reason in AO Participants is a string that we can search through, can filter on and can group by.This is inconsistent and doesn’t add up.It needs to be a string everywhere. If it can be in AO Participants, IT CAN ALSO BE in AO Failed Participants.A
This isn’t a huge issue but to me was extremely counter intuitive to most UX I’ve experienced. Context: You’re building a Gainsight Home layout and you want some widgets locked down so your end users can’t change them and you’re presented with this:Unlocked Just by looking at the icon I thought that meant it was locked already, which seemed like a weird default. Then I got the mouseover text that says “Lock Widget”.So you click it and then it looks like this:LockedAnd now it looks unlocked?I literally had to test this to see what it actually did, because I didn’t know to trust the image or the words. Then you have an experience like this: Problem: This doesn’t make any sense. Request: Make it more intuitive?Usually buttons like this reflect the current state of your thing. Like in Confluence, this locked padlock means there are restrictions: Or in Google Sheets: Bold is selected here and your text will be bold. You aren’t seeing the icon selected to know what will happen if you de-select it. Maybe I’m out of touch but this was a very weird experience.
It would be beneficial if Admins had the ability to set the default column set up / view for specific Success Plan types. Use Case:We offer a specific Success Plan type for our CSMs. In this SP, there is a certain field on the CTA Objectives that helps determine how to approach the CTA and how it appears in the Snapshot. While we can train the CSMs to add a column for this field to the Objective CTA tab, the ideal functionality would be that an Admin could set it so the default view for this Success Plan type always includes that field as a column.
I’m using backfill typically after a release happened and I am getting the new feature and use into product mapper. I know the date that the feature went live, so it would be very easy to just use that date to search the relevant events. Any searching before that is pointless and is a waste of resources and time.
Make KPI widgets responsive when placed on an external 360 page. When an KPI report is measured against a dynamic goal and the goal is surpassed. The goal surpassed text pushes the actual metrics out of the container for the widget. Make the font sizes consistent as well. One widget will have 20pt font while the one right next to it has 12pt font. The widgets only render properly when on a screen resolution smaller than 1920 x 1080.
The hierarchy for Product Updates and for Ideas is flat, as in there is only 1 level. Our organization has multiple “Products” that each have a set of “features”. I would like to see Product Updates and Ideas both support a “tiered” structure for these products & features. Things I’d like to see:Filter Ideas and Product Updates by Product AND Feature Allow customers to select Product AND Feature when submitting an Idea Allow customers to subscribe to a certain product/feature to receive notifications when new updates/ideas are submitted Ability to customize the terms Product and Feature I imagine the hierarchy would work as follows:Product A Feature A Feature B Feature C Product B Feature A Feature B Feature C Features might be conditional based on the Product that is selected, or if needed for product simplicity the Product could be an unselectable “parent” similar to Parent Categories for Community Categories that only helps organize each feature.
We have more than 1 Relationship Type in our instance. It is sometimes necessary to lookup from 1 Type to another within the platform. Tokens do not support Relationship Lookup fields. Please allow Tokens to use Relationship Lookup Fields, like they use Company Lookup fields and Custom Lookup Fields.Current stateRef Ticket: 356754
Hi there,I’m starting to explore P360 and reading through the Community and playing around with it. It seems like the default field “Last Engagement Type” can only pick up on timeline activity type.In a similar vein to this post:In a world where digital is supporting customer success organizations more and more, digital engagements are a valid type of engagement.I think automated engagements should be considered a real engagement, and we should be able to consider the last automated program engagement in Last Engagement Type (and we can’t currently as we just have the “non-automated” timeline activity types): Especially as we’d consume information differently depending on whether an account has a human-touch or a tech-touch engagement model. And we’d consider automated engagement as a valid engagement in the latter.ThanksA
It would be great to have an out of the box widget for all surveys that are not NPS or CSAT available on the P360 as it is on the C360. Right now we are enabling a group on P360 but their users rarely, if ever get NPS or CSAT surveys. However, they do receive a number of other surveys, and we’d love that visibility directly on the P360. Right now they are still visible on the C360 but our team would love to break them down person to person on the P360.
Hi,We do not use JO’s externally very often. It would be helpful for us to be able to change the filter from 6 months to 1 year or something wider. Please allow us access to update the JO filter on the P360 widget.
We want the CTA to be completed after all tasks are completed. Currently, we also check for CTA completion after a task is completed, so I would be happy if that happened.
Hi Gainsight, when creating a CTA or Applying a Playbook to a CTA, it would be helpful if Admins had the option to configure a default Closed Status to apply when all tasks are completed. This would save our CSMs save a few moments and the grief of having to go back and close a CTA that they forgot to close when completing the final task.
Hello Team,This is regarding logging of emails to timeline in Gainsight. At the moment when we login a past email to the timeline GS picks up the logged in date as the activity date but we would like GS to reflect the actual activity date as the logged in date. This will be applicable when we have to add old emails to the timeline.Current Process - Email sent on June18, 2024 logged in the timeline on Feb 19,2025 - Shows activity date as Feb 19,2025Change Requested - Email sent on June18, 2024 logged in the timeline on Feb 19,2025 - But activity date should show as June 18,2024Requesting you to look into this and consider the same as an enhancement
It would be great to send a single email to all contacts in an account with specific criteria, like role, as the “to” or recipients. I know we can CC up to 3 contacts but that doesn’t serve the need.Similar to @carolyn_dibuono ‘s postWe have emails that need to go out to multiple account POCs to have everyone on the customer’s team aware of the communication to eliminate the forwarding, checking for other recipients, etc.
We would like to set up audience criteria for engagements to not be enabled IF the user has already viewed an article in the KBOT. Specifically, I want to stop an automated engagement from appearing IF the user has not already completed a video within an article in the KBOT. Currently that is not possible in PX, it can only exclude users who interacted with an engagement. We would also like to add Article views/completion to our Widgets in Dashboard Reports and Reporting. This will enable us to view all learning touchpoints with our users and how it affected their feature performances.
Here’s a place where AI could be helpful. We use the Gong integration, but this idea would likely be useful other similar integrations like ZoomWe have two primary Activity Types used for meetings: Meeting and Business Review. On the Meeting Activity Type, we also have a required picklist “Meeting Type” which categorizes the type of meeting. This setup is intentional, to minimize the number of Activity Types tied to meetings and pre-dated our use of the Gong integration.Since the Gong integration, however, we’ve had a lot of Business Reviews get logged as “Meetings” (the default sync value) and tons of “Meetings” where the “Meeting Type” is blank because users forget to go back and manually adjust them.To try and partially mitigate this, I have a report on the CSM dashboard showing Meetings where the Meeting Type is blank, and we’ve educated the team on the Gong Merge function. But enablement only gets us so far.It would really save our users time if the Gong integration was able to rely on AI for the following:Distinguish between “Business Review” and a general “Meeting” and create according to the appropriate Activity Type. Identify the specific type of Meeting and auto-select the appropriate “Meeting Type” Automatically notify the user under whose name the meeting was logged what selections the system made and provide a direct option to change within the notification.
