とりあえず気になった点をここに書いておきますね。バッジ獲得者のページが、なぜか「バッジを外しました」って表記に。。英語ページで見てみたら、Unlockの誤訳っぽいですね。「バッジのロックを外しました」になるはずが・・・

Hi everyone,I'm currently working with our engineering team to pass custom role information through SSO using both SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0.Our preferred approach is to pass logical role attributes such as isPartner, isCustomer, or isEmployee and transform that value on CC to the appropriate role ID. However, Gainsight has told us that role mapping during the sign-on process requires their specific Community Role IDs (for example, 12, 13, 14) rather than custom attributes. My engineering team is hesitant to build custom logic that maps our identity provider roles directly to Gainsight-specific role IDs, as that approach does not scale well across other customer-facing systems we may integrate with in the future.Has anyone encountered a similar challenge? If so, have you found an alternative approach for managing role assignments without relying on platform-specific role IDs being passed through SSO?Thanks in advance for any insights.

Does InSided integrate with any authoring tools, such as MadCap Flare?

Based on popular feedback, we are changing how we release new features and platform improvements to your community. Instead of rolling out changes immediately, we are giving you the opportunity to preview and test them before they go live.To support this, we have expanded the Open betas page in Control to include Feature previews. Here's what you can expect:A toggle you control. Front-end changes now arrive switched off. You decide when to turn them on. Somewhere safe to test. Enable the preview on your sandbox, see what it does to your styling, fix what needs fixing, then enable it on production when you're ready. A clear deadline. Each feature preview stays active for a limited period of time. After that it becomes standard for everyone and the toggle goes away. What counts as a previewNot every release needs this, and wrapping all of them in a toggle would just be noise. A preview is for changes that could interfere with work you've done: member-facing updates that touch front-end str

Segments allow you to dynamically group community members based on set criteria, easily see how segments relate to each other and allow you to take action on each segment using our Email Campaigns feature. What is a segment?A segment is a group of users, who all match a set of filters. Segments update automatically as soon as customers match or stop matching the filters you’ve defined.  For example, you might want to create a group of users who have ‘customer success’ in their job title, and who have all signed up less than 7 days ago. Instead of manually pulling this list or adding the filters each time you want to engage this group, you can simply select the segment and know it is up-to-date! Creating segmentsTo make sure you hit the ground running, we’ve already set up 5 adoption flywheel segments for you. You can easily change the filters for these flywheel segments to make them more specific to your community. Here’s how to create your own segments:Go to the User overview page in C

Hi there, I am having trouble figuring out how to configure our new badges for “Likes Received” - what would be the best way to set these up?Thanks! ~Chloe

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our September release webinar! We covered a lot during the session, so rather than recap every update, I wanted to share a few things that I think are worth trying first. If you missed the session or want to revisit any of the updates, just click play. 1. Relationship Resolution uses more than one signal to find the right RelationshipRelationship Resolution looks at two things at the same time.First, it compares the people on the interaction against Relationship Person data and configured User data. We also use AI to identify the product discussed in the conversation based on your Organization Profile. We then use those results to determine the product level Relationship. If neither method returns a match, we log the activity to the Company instead. That makes the underlying configuration important. We recommend that admins keep Relationship Person data accurate, choose User fields that distinguish one Relationship from another, configure product ident

This article helps admins configure more than one sign-in method of the same protocol type in Gainsight Customer Communities.Overview How It Works Prerequisites Create an End User SSO Add a Second Method of the Same Protocol Overview Admins in Gainsight Customer Communities can configure more than one single sign-on (SSO) method of the same protocol type. For example, an enterprise customer can set up two separate OpenID Connect connections, one for employees and one for customers, even though both methods use the same protocol. Each protocol type on the End Users SSO page supports up to two configured methods. This allows admins to create distinct sign-in paths for different audiences, such as customers, partners, and employees, all managed self-service in Gainsight CC.Key BenefitsSupport distinct sign-in paths for different audiences, all managed self-service in Gainsight CC. Hi everyone, I’m trying to insert an activity to the Timeline and have it be linked to a specific CTA. In my use case, these are onboarding CTAs that are linked to the opportunity through the GS opportunity object, and the users are logging their events automatically from Google Calendar to SFDC. Right now they need to manually log them again in Gainsight if they want the link to the CTA, and the OOTB sync does not link it to the CTA, but I can easily find them with a rule and call the API to post these since I have the link to the CTA through the “Cockpit Associated Records” object. My only problem is that when I call the Timeline API I can only pass “Company” or “Relationship” as a Context Name value. From what I see in the reports, the value should be “CTA” and the Context Id should be the CTA GSID, both of which I have. So is there a way to actually do this or is this an improvement request for the API?
