Today you may customize the fields and layout of the detail view of an opportunity in Renewal Center however you cannot modify the initial table view that pops up when you drill into an action card or graph. Requesting to be able to add/remove fields and change the field order.

Hi There, Is it possible to save filters in the general user overview? For exemple, when I filter the users by role (f.e. Superusers) I get a list of all the Superusers. But when i select one of them and I go back, I lose my selection. At the topic overview filters do get saved. Thanks!

I would like to see a way to filter based on text in the Engagements list. As seen in the screenshot we have been naming our Engagements with what could be labels, but this helps us better standardize and find the engagements we need.If there was a way to filter the list based on text search of the name field it would really help narrow down a list to a list of engagements. Whereas the current search bar up top only lets you select 1 from the dropdown list.   

Hi there,Maybe not one for the top of the list but, if I’m able to display a date/time field as just a time or just a year, why couldn’t I display a date field with the day and the month, but without the year?Long story short: I want to display the anniversary date of an event (not renewal). If a contract is signed on January 1st, 2023 for 36 months, I want to be able to tell the customer that certain of their allocations will reset automatically on January 1st, every year (until contract end).I would like the exact same options as those that involve day, month and year, but without the year.   

One thing I was thinking about with regards to "articles" is the ability to add Canonical URLs. I sometimes have items posted on personal blogs and folks want me to repost on the community blog, it would be good to have a section on the editor to inform search engines of the original URL. Definition: Canonical tags tell search engines that a given URL is the master copy or authoritative source for a piece of content. If there are multiple versions of the same piece of content at different URLs, the canonical tag informs search engines which one is the primary source. The canonical tag appears in the HTML head of your page. We export all our Success Snapshot files to shared Google drives. This currently takes ~ 5 minutes to load the folders.  Can anything be done to improve this?   

TL;DR: The “recently active” feed part of the Tabs widget, but filterable by a specific category OR public tag. Current state: The only widget we have that displays as a post feeds in the Tabs widget with the “Recently active” and “Unanswered questions” feeds. Additionally, each of the Ideations and Product Updates pages have a “List” widget feed of those types of topics, but neither is available in the widget library or outside those modules. Desired future state: Filterable widget - by category, multiple categories, or public tags (or moderator tag - nice to have) Displays topics as a feed similar to this:   Use Cases: Custom pages currently in beta program Topic-based overview/resource pages (likely a custom page, but maybe also on home page, or overview pages) Persona-based pagesAn alternative option would be a complete revamp of the category pages to make them customizable with widgets, rather than just the featured content lists anchored to the top. When configuring linked objects on the Admin menu, it’s very hard to find the right field because every single lookup opens first, and - unlike other parts of the product (report builder, rules engine, data designer) - they aren’t in order. So for example, when I was configuring the Opportunity as a linked object, I had to collapse about 15 lookups when I searched “Name” before finally being able to scroll down and find the actual field I wanted. Not a good experience.

I would like to be able to imbed Gainsight widgets/reports in other applications such as JIRA and Confluence. Coming to Gainsight PX to validate a understanding or gather information about usage is great. But you have to have the business question you are looking for when you go to the platform.The issue we find is that we want to track a single metric in relation to a development/product change. So we need to document the details of the starting value and the goal value outside of just a Gainsight graph of the value. We find that we already make these business plans in our other systems and are then only referring to Gainsight for validation. It is hard to go into Gainsight and read the context since it is not the system or record for these goals.  

We are using success plans to streamline a company-wide transition for our customers. We implemented and mass created these success plans, but would now like to add 1 additional objective with a survey email template for follow up once the rest of the plan is complete. Is there a way to mass add 1 additional objective to any plan already using a specific template? Or would we be better off to trigger a CTA based on completion of the current 'last' objective?

Milestones are overlaid on the Usage Charts to visualize the impact of adoption plays other events (e.g. CSM Change) on the Usage. However not all customers have gone through those events so they have no milestones to display on those charts. For such customers a message “No Milestones for the company for the given date range”.This message is a distraction and stays on for 10 seconds. Also, it is displayed for every report that is on the C360 without a milestone. This message doesn’t add any value for the end user and just a bad UX. We wish to utilize milestones but not with unnecessary messages on C360 for customers that do not have those milestones.  

Hi Team,We are not allowing minus (negative) range values being considered in conditional formatting in report builder as of now. It will be best use case if we can allow such mapping in conditional colouring in future.

Hello per my discussion with support team (Ticket number: #216893) derived mapping does not have identifier functionality which is a huge miss for customer that are working through data issues. USE CASE: I am creating relationship and i do not have company GSID field available within data set up and therefore i am using derived mapping to map SFDC field to Company GSID see below example of derived mapping configuration:Per my understanding of the relationship object Company ID is required So then why is it not auto chosen as an Identifier from the derived mapping? Per my conversation with support they are saying this is the expected behavior. This is a huge miss on Gainsight part to have derived mapping function as a key feature in connector 2.0, rules engine, real-time, etc. PROBLEM STATEMENT: When derived mapping is used to upsert relationship values this field is getting updated rather than being used to determine update versus creation. There are situations when the role is way too broad filter, to define the correct recipients. So I wish I can also add email address manually to the recipient list.

There are situations when we want to use different email layout, so I wish I can create several templates (up to 2-3 at least) and when creating new campaign I just choose the correct template to use.

Internal and test survey responses distort survey analytics. It is not obvious to all users that these survey responses need to be filtered out. Gainsight CS offers the ability to delete Survey Responses from the UI It would be great to see this capability extended to Gainsight PX

I would love to create an automated campaign to re-engage members that have been inactive for 3 weeks by auto populating latest articles with particular tags or by date.  Since that time window is ever moving, a variable to pull in the latest content for an automatic trigger email would be amazing. Created from post :  

After reviewing the Tip of the Week post (below) about PX Custom Events, I wondered why tracking multiple CTA’s is “custom?”   As we step through an in-app guide, we periodically would like to include links to KB articles that add color & context (best practices, use-cases, etc) to the “guide”.   Ideally, I’d like to know which of these links is getting traffic (and which may not -- ie. i can remove them from the guide to shorten it up).  I can see that the links provided to the user in the guides are redirected through Gainsight (presumably to “count” the CTA event), so I would expect individual CTA tracking to be a feature and not custom work.   Also, I can imagine that if the Gainsight security team had XSS security concerns with utilizing JS in the engagements editor, our security team will feel the same way (making Custom Events a non-starter for us). cc:/ @jmobley 

Hi Team,When trying to delete a feature, It would be a HUGE relief if we could display the dependencies of this feature in the UI so that they can be addressed and then be able to delete it. Currently we just get a generic UI error mentioning the existence of dependencies but not in detail.This could be a HUGE time saver for the PX users.Thanks,Srinivas.

We have a number of filters on a Dashboard that we are doing lookup values to the User Objects and when we set the filters we do not see an ability to rename the “name” field to something that is more logical for the end users when they see a number of different filters.  Is it possible to add an enhancement to rename the display name of a field for filtering dashboards?

It would be helpful if the engagement preview could auto populate URLs listed in the engagement Audience as an option. This would allow for quicker editing. In the event that the Audience contains URLs that have wild cards, the ability to save and pin a URL for preview would be handy as well. This will prevent the URL from getting buried in the suggested section while limiting how many times we would have to copy and paste the URL into the preview for testing. 

Hello Team,One of the customer reported that  they are using the new feature to create opportunities in salesforce directly rather than creating leads. They are asking us that it would be great if the UI could be changed to reflect as Opportunities so that it will reduce confusion about what in the salesforce object the CSMs are creating.  

The Audience report seems to only report at a community-wide level. Can we add filters like the other reports so that we can view audience analytics in specific categories?

Hello folks...I work with the CSV exports a lot. To answer specific questions, I usually have to download multiple reports, then do a lot of cleaning and excel wizardry to try to get what I need.I would love an export option where you can choose from all the fields you want to include. It would be a lot, I’m sure, but I could then select all the things I want in the same report....For example, I’d like to get more visibility on community activity on a customer-level (aggregate). I have a custom profile field to help identify the customer account, but, only one of the CSV reports include that field, and doesn't include other things I might want to know. (If I want to know how many logins from users of Customer X in the past 30 days, I have to use the User report to get their user names, then download the Login report, and search those user names...)

I’d also like to have counts of unique users asking/answering questions within a given timeframe. While this can be done by filtering exports, it’s the type of metric that should be considered among the other Q&A success metrics out-of-the-box.
