Hi Team,Customize fiscal year settings are not being reflected in MDA reports when we filter on Fiscal Quarter instead Standard quarters are being applied. Currently, MDA has no provision of configuring/querying with custom fiscal periods.The customer(Boomi, Inc.‍)wants to extend these fiscal boundaries to MDA reports.Is this coming anytime soon??  Please have a look at this request.@rakesh 

If I change the background color of text as I’m typing out an email template, I can’t revert it back to white easily. Typically I’d expect to see a quick-key to change it back to “Transparent” or “White.” 

The widget "feature performance" shows the number of users/accounts that have triggered an event, but no widget show the adoption rate. Sounds like an easy win?

We’d like to see some improvements to the interface for private messages (on the front-end in particular, but I’m sure these could carry over to the backend in Control as well) shifting it to have a clearer way to compose new messages to anyone in the community. Currently you have to find the user, then select SEND MESSAGE, which makes it difficult. Rather, having a way to start a new private message than address it to the user or users that need to receive it would be helpful.

The same feature that is being worked on for the Mega Menu (below), but for the Navigation Menu. Use case: We’re implementing a custom navigation header to deliver a consistent navigation menu across many disparate resources, Insided being just one. We’ll likely be using the Navigation Menu as a simple second level to navigation on Insided, as it offers the profile drop-down and create topic button. It would be great for the global search entry to be a part of that as well. Why not use the Mega Menu for the same thing? our team reports that the mega menu has a lot more styling components that are making things tricker. The navigation menu is simpler and has what we want All we have to do is use CSS to hide the drop-down menu.   

We’d like the ability to set an “Out of Office” message or status.  This recently came up for us as one of our team members will be out of office for a chunk of time and being the Community Team, our community reaches out to us for support.  Potential solutions:Create a label that appears next to the member’s name anywhere on the community. If a member clicks on that label or the member’s profile, then they’ll see in their profile information more information about the “out of office” badge. Create a warning message when someone tags the member who is out of office. This would be a notification/warning message that alerts the other member that the member is out of office and might not see their tag. Automate the action so that the user who is going out of office only needs to share their start and end dates and whatever action occurs automatically goes up and goes down based on the start and end time (think your typical out of office automated message in email).

As a CSM, I would like to be able to edit specific fields in C360 that will sync over to the account or any other related objects in Salesforce. I currently have to create a CTA to take advantage of bidirectional sync (which adds additional steps). I wish I could simply edit in C360 and see the changes reflected in Salesforce so that I don't have to keep changing systems.

Success plans objective CTA has the inclusion of Objective category code based on Success plan type on the task layout. Current design supports only objective type CTAs category addition for playbook tasks.Our recent use case wanted reason codes of non objective CTA Types to undergo similar treatment to of task layout to hold reason codes segregations. 

Adding this to the community based on guidance from our Gainsight TAM:To reduce clicks/improve productivity & improve data hygiene, we would like various elements within CTAs and linked objects on CTAs auto-populated based on the selected CTA Type.  Use case:We have CSMs create CTAs to track relationship risks, so we have a CTA type for this. There is only 1 possible reason & subtype for this CTA type, so it would save CSMs time if these were auto-populated.We also use linked objects to allow the creation of Salesforce cases from the CTA, and CSMs currently have to choose the SF case record type and populate a few other fields that remain the same each time this CTA type is used.

Home page widget that displays categories rather than parent categories. In the early days of a community the number of categories are small and it’s hard to bring attention to them. And as a community grows it would be helpful to bring attention to key categories without having to hack around things with quick links.  This was implemented with the new Kb by @Marion Frecaut — let’s get it extended into the community. 

I know I can build much of this out on my own with a custom MDA object, but since I’d think this is a common request I wanted to share the idea here.  I’d love to see a pre-built way to track AO Analytics over time….and more specifically, for a filtered, specific period of time. Currently, all of those metrics are just today’s numbers and ‘all time’ for the program you select.Our current use case is that we’re making some adjustments to one of our survey programs in order to increase open and response rates. First, I’d like to see these numbers captured weekly so I can see trends….when did the open rate start to slip? did the changes we made make a difference? Also, I’d like to be able to filter to just those emails sent during a certain period of time to answer things like, what time of the month/quarter/year do we get the best response rates? and to more quickly see the effect our changes have made without being diluted to an ‘all time’ rate.Has this been discussed by the product tea

The issue mentioned here with adding fields is designed the same in Segments, and is also extremely painful there.  Segments was given as a workaround for not being able to clone queries in JO, but building out the segments more painful than building out the query additional times.  Wanted to make sure that this was on the list of areas that need improvement.

My team and I were discussing a manual measure that we have which allows for individual CS team members to assess our relationship with a client. This field is the only manual measure on our otherwise fully automated Health Scorecard.To encourage ongoing and timely evaluations of our relationships, I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate a feature into Gainsight which will create a pop up on a group’s C360 if this manual sentiment field has not been updated for a pre-determined amount of time. In this way, the field will function as a sort of C360-specific NPS score. The pop up would not appear every time a C360 page was loaded; I could see that getting very frustrating, very quickly. But it would be good to help encourage regular assessments of our relationship in a very quick fashion, different from having a rule-generated CTA which would also need to be dealt with after an assessment is provided. 

Is there a way to have users use topic templates based on categories? I know Zendesk allows this feature and I would like to mimic and bring this user flow to our community.

You should be able to map the To and CC fields of a task email of a success plan. I don’t believe there is currently a way to do this OOB. 

Good Morning- We've run into this issue a few times over the last few months and I wanted to get some feedback from the community: When our CSMs try and past any text into form fill boxes in Gainsight, the formatting from the program where the text originated (PowerPoint, .pdf, etc.) is transferred to Gainsight's text boxes. The problem is that Gainsight's text boxes don't support formatting (well, there are extremely limited formatting options in the form of <b></b>, <i></i>, etc., but I digress), and the text ends up taking a form that's unreadable, unususable, or just different from other text fill boxes that are manually typed or contain information pasted from a different originating software. Is anyone else running into these issues? Would anyone be in support of Gainsight automatically stripping out all formatting upon pasting, much like Notepad/Textpad does in Windows? Hi Everyone! Rules and playbooks seem very very disparate from each other and very difficult to manage. I have had to go back and forth between the rule and Playbook page just to see what rules associate with what playbooks. I want to see from the playbook view if a rule is tied to the playbook. This will help me see how many are manually vs automatically triggered.  I cant mark a playbook as inactive, EVEN IF the rule is inactive. Lots of extra work.  My task owners all show as blank, because it defaults to the CTA owner. Shouldn't this drip down for visibility vs showing blank?

We’re having moderation on for all posts for launch although this may change in future. If there are multiple posts to approve, you have to go into each one, read it and then go back to the list to approve it. It would be great if you could approve it whilst in the article/post to save time and also make sure you are approving the right one. It seems a little clunky to have to leave it to then approve it. Thanks!

Our community team is an active user of the “Team notes”. With active use, there tends to be more notes than there’s room.My idea is basically that the field would be larger or that there would be a possibilty to enlargen the field 

I actually came across this today within the inSpired community. Was tagged in a reply post, clicked on the button in the email and saw the original post and comments but could not find where I was tagged or that specific reply. Then I noticed there was a second page, went to the second page, and all of the recent comments, including the one I was tagged in, were there.This was the thread, for reference:  Does it make more sense to sort the replies by most recent first? Or, have the email button jump to the reply that they were tagged in? Shamefully, it took me maybe just a little bit too long to realize there was a second page of comments. 

My team and I are terrified each time we go to update a Group with featured topics because the Delete this group button is directly above the save changes button. I’d strongly recommend moving delete this group to the upper right corner or some place less likely to be clicked by mistake.   

RequestPlease add support for link targets within articles. JustificationThis feature would allow us to:Build mini-TOCs of links to sections in long articles to help users navigate to the sections they need rather than having to scroll. Add a link from one article to a relevant section in another article. Again, this helps prevent having to scroll. Hi Team, When creating a Bar Chart 3 axis report the custom color palette will not work. Once it is a two-axis report then the custom palette works. We will not get individual bar in individual colors till that's only the dimension in the chart. Thank you.
