Hi Team, Posting this on behalf of customer.One customer wants the ability to re-order tasks which have same due dates and all the tasks are created manually.  Since the due date is same and tasks are manually created , it is not possible to control the order of tasks in this case to change the display order using default view layout. Use case: These are created by End user (CSM) who doesn’t have admin privileges to control the order of tasks or to create playbooks or templates. It will be helpful if we can give customers more free hand to control the order of display of tasks. 

Right now the articles in the knowledge center have no way to be scheduled, the current published on date/time is just informational, it would be helpful to have the ability to schedule articles, both start and end dates, to help manage freshness in the knowledge center widget.

I’ve noticed that when I search for templates in Gainsight Assist, it only searches based on subject line. Is there a way to make it search the text within the template? For example, I might want to talk about ‘calibration’, but my template isn’t necessarily called that.Thanks! 

Some other tools have global settings that allow you to indicate the maximum number of emails a single contact should get within a chosen time period, like a month. They can also be used for preventing a single user from getting multiple emails in the same day.  This would be useful for us in Gainsight for Journey Orchestrator emails. We have ongoing lifecycle campaigns that trigger at unique times based on the company’s stage, days to renewal, etc. We also have one-off campaigns like newsletters and educational webinar promos. Ideally, we would be able to set restrictions in Gainsight to prevent anyone from getting a lifecycle email and a one-off email on the same day and set a maximum per month. With a lot of programs running, it’s difficult to do this effectively in the query. 

Currently only sent and clicked actions are available to use as input from an Email Engagement to another Email engagement, it would be nice to be able to use the Opened action as input, the data is there because it is in the timeline from the user but not available as an action in the audience generator for an email campaign.

When feature backfill jobs fail, those failures aren’t reported anywhere that PX users can find. Users need to intuit that something is wrong with the backfill, and contact support for information. Backfill errors and failures should be surfaced in Admin Console, directly in Product Mapper, and/or email notification to admins, the way CS Rule failures are. This would increase visibility and reduce time to resolution for backfill issues.

When an answer to a question is embedded in the question, it saves you from having to scroll down to see the reply marked as the answer. However, it’s missing critical context about the user that provided the answer. It only lists the username “Answer provided by ddpancratz.” I’d recommend embedding the same features that appear for the topic author, replies, and topics within an activity feed: Username is linked to the profile Hovering over username shows short profile summary with rank, badges, stats, etc Avatar to the left of the username Rank shown to the right of the usernameThere are many use cases where this would be beneficial. Primarily, this information provides helpful context around the answer, often conveying trust in the answer itself. For example: If staff members have a special rank and/or avatar icon, it conveys an official/verified type of trust (ex. Answer is from an Insided staffer.) If certifications are shown in ranks and/or badges, it coveys a level of experience

When adding CTAs to Customer Goals, there’s a filter on top and it would be nice if I could make a default one (ie. show only Open CTAs). I haven’t found a place where to configure it. Did I miss it or should I open a new Idea? Thanks!

In NXT,  currently we are displaying the milestones for the report created on Activity Timeline object only when we add Company Name filter criteria.Due to this limitation , we are currently unable to display the milestone view in C360. Checked with the engineering team and this has been considered as an enhanced.Logging this post for product team review to check and add this to the future road map. 

Our customer success managers want the ability to associate multiple relationships with each other in a parent child manner for some of our global accounts.Does GS already have this ability or is it on the roadmap

Adding the ability for our clients to resize the bot screen to their liking rather than just small or large would help our clients view the content and do the learned activities within the content, rather than read it, close it out, then try to remember what they read. We do not link out to other sites where content can be on additional screens.

Presently, users can only create new Rating Performance widgets on surveys with status Active or Completed. Customer is requesting that status Paused be included in this set.

There are currently SO many different places to assign permissions. While we appreciate the ability to customize, it makes certain features/functions hard to manage. Our current dilemma is assigning object permissions for self service analytics to our viewer analytics users. We don’t want to open up all flattened objects to our full users (it would be too much), but also don’t want maintain both a permission bundle and group for the exact same set of users.First Ask:Ability to assign specific objects to permission bundles AND permission groups.Current Process Outlined:New user is added and included in our viewer analytics permission bundle. It will be good idea if we can get ability to view SFDC object field level dependencies as well as Data Designer dependencies listed on Analyzer. 

We use the S3 Export daily and we have a LOT of business partners using the survey responses for automated follow up, linkage to Customer Service cases, and general Client Health scores. One thing missing in this export for CSV is the [eventId]. The one thing necessary to determine a CSAT answer from today that is different from a CSAT answer from 6 months ago. (yes you can use the date to tell them apart, but when using them in a database, the eventId would be the unique key for each response. 

When I set the border radius for Cards in our community Theme, it doesn’t apply to the quick links widget. Thus, I have to remember to adjust the radius every time. I’m sure there are versions of this for buttons and other widget features too. Keep: The ability to customize widget styling with border radius adjustments, button colors, background colors, etc. Add: When something is set as a default in the theme (border radius, etc), apply that default on applicable widgets as well. 

Currently, copy and pasting items directly into the note field of Timeline activity seems to work intermittently. I would like to see the note field support thumbnail preview and download within this field.

At this time, there is only the ability to set a default value for null values in Activity Type when syncing from Salesforce to Gainsight. It would be a useful feature to be able to set a default value for all Activity Types coming in to give more options for our customers’ use.  As an example:I have a customer who has their default value for their Activity Type set to “Pricing Conversation”The way it is set, any Null values from Salesforce will sync in with the type “Pricing Conversation” when loading to Gainsight.However, when an activity comes in with the value “Meeting” from Salesforce, it stays a “Meeting” when being loaded to Gainsight.My customer would like the ability to set all Activity Type values to “Pricing Conversation” in Gainsight, even when the Activity already has a value such as “Meeting” in Salesforce.

It would be great to @ a public tag like we can with usernames or using a # to trigger it. Desired results: hyperlink a public tag (like the tag cloud) within a post. Easily auto-populate the public tag within a post (like when you @ and start typing)  Drive increased traffic to comprehensive search of that tag. I don’t ever really click on tags at the bottom of posts or in tag clouds. As a reader, I’m focused on the content within the post and I typically exit the page before I get to the button (where tags are). Similar to when reading an article on ESPN.com or another site, it’d be great to link keywords to the equivalent of a player/team page.  

I rely on Gainsight’s Object Analyzer pretty often, but one major gap that’s becoming more noticeable is that I can’t tell if a field is used on the C360 or R360. I suppose this is mainly only relevant for the Company and Relationship objects, but for those two, it would be really nice, especially for those of us who have multiple layouts on either the C360 or R360.
