I’d like the ability to send a direct message to all community members at the same time, in the form of an announcement.Basically, we occasionally publish something that everyone needs to read (an announcement) and I’d like them notified. I can put it on the homepage or create an article and feature that - but they don’t get any sort of notification of new content. Please let me know if there’s a hack that could make this happen!

Hi Team, Customer has reached out to support for having the ability to configure the form that appears while adding a new record on a report that is added as a related list on C360. As of now, we do not have control on rearranging the columns that appear when we click on Add record. Please share your views on the feasibility of this request. Thanks!  

Right now, I can include the name of the Success Plan but there is no easy way to get to the source Success Plan without navigating to the success plan and opening it up.  Ideally, the name would hyperlink in both the objective CTA itself and the Cockpit when included.   

Hi Team, In JO Programs when we click on delete option against the exclusion list it is deleted directly with out any alert/notification. So it would be great and really helpful if team can implement an alert/notification which notifies the user that the action will delete the exclusion list from the JO program.This will help as an extra security layer if the file is being deleted.

Hey GS Product team,Would love for Gainsight to consider a usability enhancement to automatically apply all global filters to reports that are added to a dashboard.When we put together the original design / reports to be included in a dashboard, we usually add the global filters after, which makes them apply to all the reports added.However, for any additions - aka reports added to the dashboard after the original build, one would have to remember to go back to each individual global filter and manually add all of them in for each and every global filter. This is not only annoying and time consuming, but also one would have to actually remember to do it.What I am proposing instead is to have the ability to automagically apply the global filters for the newly added reports to a dashboard OR offer the admin the option to do so via pop-up show up that asks them if they want to apply the global filter to the newly added report.Thank you for your consideration! 

Adding a 'Created By' field to PX’s custom User and Account Attributes would allow admins to better track change management and assign ownership/maintenance for these attributes

In categories, you can currently filter/sort by Most replies, most views, or newest first. I’d like to also be able to filter by topic type. That might look like adding these options: Questions  Conversations ArticlesUse case: Categories that want to be a one-stop shop for different types of content, including articles. You can publish articles to a community category (and I have use cases for doing so), it’d be great to be able to filter by articles. Without it, it requires manual curation of featured articles at the top of the program, or rolling up the list in an article (more manual curation). 

Hi Team, Issue: Inline filter on a multi pick-list field is not working as expected.Scenario: (Example to understand the scenario)Below are the pick-list values that are present in salesforce. A B C D A,B,C - Inactive C,D - Inactive When we are providing the value A in search (Inline filter) the pick list value A,B,C is present in the data but the same is not available in the dropdown. I have reached out to engineering team regarding this behaviour and got confirmation this is an expected behaviour for now and the functionality will be improved as part of an enhancement , hence logging this community post.

We would love to have the possibility to categorize products in “Filter by product” in Product Ideas and Product Updates. Currently the list of products displays alphabetically, for us that means platform products, applications, and beta features display messy pending on the product/feature brand name. In our use case we’d like to categorize the products displaying in “Filter by product” in categories, with the most important products on top, such as Platform, Applications, and Beta, as an example. Would that be possible to accommodate for? 

This morning I’ve been reviewing the Email Assist 2.0 update and realized that the Email Stats section of a sent email assist task only updates with a browser refresh. It would be really handy if you could add a “Refresh” button beside the View Email button so that users can refresh the stats on-demand without having to fully refresh their browser. 

For the event attendee download it would be helpful if you could also specify what custom fields to include in the download. Recently we’ve been having to work around Zapier issues with inSided and to upload to other systems we need the custom fields we have for First Name and Last Name included in the attendee file.

Posting on behalf of a customer,  It would be beneficial to have a confirmation dialog before merging records in Data Anomalies to avoid accidentally merging the incorrect records. 

Smartsheet enables CSM’s to email their customers directly with shared project dashboards/files/etc. When these emails are sent on behalf of the CSM’s Gmail account, quotation marks are surrounding the recipient’s email address. This prevents the Chrome plugin from recognizing the recipient on the Company Person object and leaves email timeline entries in the draft status. Would be a nice addition to have the feature be able to recognize these quotations and still be able to log these entries to the timeline!

The ability to track Registered unique visitors vs. Guest unique visitors on the Audience dashboard got me thinking… could this same tracking functionality be applied to the Self-service dashboard to help us report on self-service behavior of registered vs. non-registered users?  My thoughtsThe Self-service Dashboard currently displays the following data:Self-service score Unique visitors who viewed help content Unique users who created tickets Self-service score monthly trend (for selected time period) Self-service and helpdesk user daily trends (for selected time period)It would be great if the Self-service dashboard could also show trends for registered users vs. non-registered users, similar to what’s now available in the Audience dashboard:Self-service score for registered users Unique registered visitors who viewed help content Unique registered users who created tickets Self-service score monthly trend for registered users (for selected time period Self-service and helpdesk user

I am trying to bring a new data object to Gainsight and for that I have a csv file that I am uploading to our S3 bucket.However, this file has some records that do not have right values or format. Since my csv has over 1 mil records, scrolling through it and fixing it prior to upload will be very time consuming, but it would be really useful if the rule engine would still upload the file with the records that are good and provide an error log with the bad ones. That way, I could work only on the bad records, remove the ones that I cannot use, fix the ones that still have some use behind them and re run the rule. 

When I am previewing a Survey and validating my questions, formatting, etc., I should not be blocked by the ‘required question’ error messages. This forces me to fill out each question before being able to move on to the next page, something I should be able to bypass when previewing and finalizing Survey content. 

We put usage data in every month and so the only AE graphs that are of any value is 365 days.  All other graphs pick their own data points like Ndays or a week and make no sense in our environment.  Honestly the earlier widget was more useful.  I want to be able to show data for three months so that when we have a QBR I can generate an accurate graph.  In todays world the CSM has to run 365 days and then cut, copy and paste to get a useful image of the utilization.

When setting up a new survey, I was delighted to see I could simply add an “other” option. However, I’m apparently stuck with a static field for how I want that option labeled - i.e. if I want the answer labeled “Other”, then the comment box is also labeled “Other.” In this example, I want the comment box labeled “Please Specify” while leaving the answer as “Other”, but I’m not able to distinguish the two.   

In Adoption Explorer (AE), I would benefit significantly some mechanism that supported an automated retry or a true-up of previously ingested time-series data.In my particular use case of ingesting from Redshift, if my time-series data doesn’t happen to be available on the time-based schedule I’ve configured within AE, I ingest incomplete time-series data. (Redshift might be down or flaky, or my data warehouse team may be reporting delays in data availability). Currently, once I discover that, I manually perform a Historical Run. Nice, but some re-try or true up automation could be great here.I’m trying to escape the “you’ve got one moment to grab data, and it has to be ready at that precise moment or you miss out” scenarios.As potential solutions, let me ingest for 1 day in arrears and also 2 days in arrears. This way I know I have a non-manual fallback, and also any corrections or updates made in Redshift to my source data are ingested to Gainsight.Or, provide more “kickoff” options

We have a program that sends usage emails to customers on a monthly basis. I would love to have 1 email be logged to timeline for the monthly utilization for each customer.  And I said only one email, as we don’t need to have each and every email that was sent out (for each stakeholder) rather have a way to trace back the usage data sent out to customers for historical purposes. Also, it would be ideal to have the option to send the usage email for a company in 1 email - for all stakeholders - rather than having individual emails sent to each of them. Thank you so much for considering this product enhancement!Raluca

We have a use case around needing to build a report on company person and limiting by the number of rows returned for each company.Currently, there isn’t an easy way to do so and the report returned has issues with latency due to the amount of data behind it and also it is not easy to navigate given that for one company we can have 50+ names that fit the query and for others a lot less.Would benefit from the ability to have a function that allows for the return of 5-10 records per company w/ criteria - by role for example.Thank you for your consideration!

There’s a very popular product idea for the GMAIL plugin for the ability to select activity type when logging from the plugin - would love that for Outlook. We have issues within our org where we have accounts with the same names (but different brands). At the moment the ‘Log Email To Timeline’ button is greyed out for these accounts. Would be good to show some more metadata about the account so the CSM can select the right account and these can be differentiated in the list.  

Currently, our corporate policy on Google BigQuery requires a billing project ID.  The dataset that the data lives on, not many (if any) have direct query access to the Project ID.  Query access is given to individuals via Billing projects.  That way the compute costs can be divvied up based on who made the query.  I have spoken with Support and others familiar and have been told it is not possible with the current connector / integration and must have direct query access to the Project ID provided in the connector setup. Our policy will not allow us to leverage the Connector as is due to this, and therefore requesting that the ability to specify a Billing project ID (optional) is added to the connector configuration for the Google BigQuery setup.  We utilize other tools, such as Tableau which allow for this - https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/examples_googlebigquery.htm (search for “billing” on this page.  

Hello! My team has a feature request for Surveys. Currently, you need to use non-anonymous surveys to track the account/contact submitting the survey. We are rolling out a self-assessment survey, similar to Gainsight's O2 framework, as a pre-requisite for Success Planning. We would like to offer this to customers with a reusable link but associate to the account/contact after the survey submission, which is not available today. We will be proactively sharing this with our dedicated CSM and Low Touch customers via programs/email assist. However, we would also like to publish in additional places so all customers, including Tech Touch, can find/submit organically. Ideally, we would like to post a reusable link in-app (via Pendo), our customer training site, and emails sent outside of Gainsight. Thank you :)
