I’d love to have a way to remove all users from a group. In our case we use them for beta programs and at the end of a beta we award badges, then remove all folks from the group, and retain the group and content should we need to go back to it later.Right now you have to remove each group member individually, and also confirm their removal each time which is time consuming. Should be able to select multiple/all and remove

Currently Duration (in min) is stored as a number.  This number on an individual timeline basis may be fine, although when trying to sum up or count hours spent against a given client, or by CSM over last 7 days, Month, etc… # of Minutes quickly becomes a meaningless number. For reporting on a dashboard, we were able to create a widget that SUM the “Total Hours” (Duration in MIN / 60, 2 decimal places).  However, when drilling into the formula field, there is no setting to specify how many decimals a formula field should have in a drill down report.   The widget looks like this - Summary of “Total Hours”​​​​​This is what the drill down looks like.  Total Hours has no decimals and rounded to 1 or 0. Two possible fixes:Ability to summarize a field into Hours/Minutes (not just by Thousands, Millions, etc.).  In this way the Summary widget could be built off the sum of duration in minutes, then the drill down report would also use the same field (thus negating the need of a formula field)

We would like to restrict guest users from sending private messages to others to prevent spam messages. Right now you can only disable private messaging for everyone, it is not role-based restriction.

Best answers are the ultimate behaviour to encourage and reward within the community as most people will easily ask questions, but less wilfully spend time trying to answer someone else’s problem.Ranks and Badges can incentivise this but I find the email that notifies the author of an answer that it was marked as the best is incredibly dull and unrewarding, almost seems like an error, since it is the same email as anyone subscribed to the question: Please note that I am not highlighting the design change but the message change when addressed to the author of the best answer, in order to reward the behaviour. 

Our CSMs and AEs have requested ability to add attachment(s) - more than 1 in the plan info page of the success plan. This is a feature that exists in other areas (timeline and CTA), but not on the plan info page of success plans and would be helpful as it is the cover sheet of a success plan where artifacts that are finalized and locked for review can be referenced. While there is an ability hyperlink documents, this still presents challenges, as the user attempting to review the artifact may not have access to that folder/URL. Additionally sometimes deliverables are finalized and should not be editable and so an attachment may serve best per AE/CSM feedback. additionally this is a feature available in most areas of GS except SP. attaching to the objective CTA is a workaround but does not fit the business need for this feature as an artifact may not be specific to 1 objective but related to the entire plan and should be attached at the highest level. 

Hello!Currently I have a lot of notes of customers stored on my database. This notes are shown to our CSMs on an Intranet and we want to make their life easier and transfer these notes from Gainsight Timeline, so they will use only one tool.Theres a roadmap to develop this feature ?Thanks a lot!

Hi Team, Customer has shared the following update and requested us to log it on community. Please check the feasibility of the request and share your insights. If possible, could you please submit a request to GS to improve the UI for the Comments box? Ideally, like when you log a call, it should expand to make it bigger. It’s challenging to type in and even more so when you scroll down and up and even more so if you’re using a laptop ☹ And the other thing is that you can copy info from outside and past it here in theory but….when you save it, it looks funky because the lines break. So you can only type things but you cannot really copy and paste and save time.  

I’d like to have the option to sort unanswered questions by newest and oldest so that members in our community could easily locate questions in need of answers. 

Hello Team, We have a case, when we create a custom field in the company object with GS ID data type and enabled self lookup, then we are unable to get an expanded + option of that field when used in Rules engine query builder where as it can be expanded in report builder.I was able to replicate the issue in our demo instance as well.But another thing what I observed is that, if we ignore enabling self lookup option and just enable lookup and map the same company object with GSID field, the we are able to expand the field in rules engine.

The dropdown tab on any related list tab in C360 does not adjust according to the report name length which makes it difficult for users to identify report name from dropdown itself. Would be useful to add a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the dropdown.

For the love of my (and other creators of events) sanity, please allow resizing of the text editors on the control pages.I so often have multiple paragraphs for session abstracts and speaker headshots, and working in this tiny little unresizable text box leaves very little room to double check my full setup before publishing (especially because there’s no draft mode for events, but that’s a whole separate issue).At the very least, setting a standard size on events equal to what’s available in the product updates editor would be a huge improvement.@alfonsmr @ilias.p @DannyPancratz  Event page editor - tiny textbox where I often can’t even see a full headshot for one of my speakers.Nothing here to resize the editor on product updates, but at least the box is larger by default.

Our articles can be long and want to make it easy for our users to return to the table content within the article… instead of having to scroll all the way back to the top.   

Depending on the background the default use of button style does not always work, it would be great to have a simple toggle to select the button style to apply to certain buttons. (At least on homepage). A good example of this is in the header, where the style might call for the background to be the primary button color, having the primary button style applied there currently requires overriding via CSS for example, which seems overly complex for a simple problem. (Especially since most of these buttons somehow do not have a unique id but only classes.)

We have users that might want to share screenshots of their account to post a question, BUT to give full context that screenshot would include sensitive information that the user would need to blur out before posting. Would it be possible to smooth this process out by enabling users to blur out areas of images to facilitate their ability to share in topics?

Dear, I have been running around in circles, given that when I had (accidentally) stored a column filter in a Data Designer report, it cleared all my other filters after publishing. Removing the column filter did not restore the old set, so I had to build from scratch.While rebuilding, I found the option for “First Day of Next Month” in Data Designer Explore view. I set it, as it perfectly meets some of my otherwise rather complex criteria, but subsequently my [DD] Report would not show any filters after publishing… It took me a while, but I at some point noticed this date filter not to be available in the default Report Builder. After clearing it from Data Designer Explore, and publishing the report again, my filters popped back up.It would make my life a whole lot easier if we could support the First Day of Next Month filter types in default Report Builder as well.

We recently moved to a new platform for our help site and are working through updating A LOT of links in our email templates. It’s easy to see from the template screen which ones are used in programs but there is no way to see if a template is currently used in a playbook or which playbooks are tied to an active rule. It would be a great addition so we can avoid the back and forth between playbooks and the template screen.

Hi Team,This is a request from  BeyondTrust Software.When we export the survey the received file format is of csv where as the file obtained from download/export option in reporting is of type excel.Directly opening the survey export file is changing the special characters as the encoding format is not taken as the proper one.So customer is expecting to make the survey export file also as of type excel so that issue with respect to  special characters is not observed.

While some might prefer to avoid people having to leave the current page to view content of the community, I believe at times it might be more appropriate for the widget to direct search result links directly into the community rather than open the article/ topic in the widget. A simple toggle for that choice in Control would be a great feature!Furthermore, search results sometimes require additional filtering which is not available from the widget, yet there is no option to initiate the same search in the community from the widget. 

When reviewing Join Requests for private groups, it would be convenient to be able to directly contact a user or view their profile.When reviewing applications we currently have to copy the user login, go to Users list, search for the login, and then we can review the profile and contact users…Either the login name should link to the user profile, or a button could be added to review the profile? 

Super annoying: If I have a few filters already in place, locked, and I need to add a new filter, it auto-unlocks all the filters and I have to click through the tiny button on each filter to get back to initial state. If I click slightly over, it’ll outright delete the filter instead, messing up my logic. It should not auto-unlock to begin with.  Would a button to “auto-lock” all filters help others as much as it would help me?Video: https://video.zoominfo.com/watch/h15djeQ4nHw2Bh7ZTJ58xP? 

In an effort to make survey participants choose a side other than ‘neutral’, I’m wondering if it would be possible to allow for the CSAT questions created in Question Library to present a four or five option range.The goal would be to have someone choose whether they were:Very Dissatisfied Dissatisfied Satisfied Very SatisfiedBeing able to remove ‘neutral’ if needed will force respondents to essentially choose a side before (hopefully) providing contextual feedback regarding their choice. To be sure, I would love to be able to choose the four or five-response range when creating a new CSAT question in Question Library. 

I love the GS Analyzer reports, but many of them would be more helpful for our team’s metrics and workload if we could group by week or month. Can this be added as a drop down so users can see the view they prefer?

I was wondering if Gainsight could have an internal feature for end users to report errors and bugs or request reporting and new systems. I currently rely on a Jira ticket intake process for my colleagues to submit requests to me concerning everything from bugs to new ideas; I would love it if Gainsight had its own internal processes for end users to make these kind of requests from their admins. I was looking at my colleague build out the ‘Requests’ feature in Salesforce and wondered if Gainsight has/could have just such a feature.

In the Success Plan Gantt tab, keep CTAs and tasks with dependencies together, as a group. Right now with dependencies, lines are running into/through different CTA/tasks which looks very messy.
