Discuss Gainsight Products

Hi, Our company is undergoing two mergers and as a result we have three different Salesforce instances. Can I connect all three instances into my Gainsight environment and are there any limitations with the second and third connections? Any real-time sync or two way sync issues to be aware of?

I am looking to automate the generation of a future date for a Business Review that is based on logic of {1st/2nd/3rd/4th Day} of every {x months}.This is similar to the Recurrence Pattern found in Outlook calendaring. Has anyone found a way to do this?

We use success snapshots and some graphs of type stacked column have too many different data labels so that the legend gets cut off.Is there a way to expand the visualization to represent all data labels or is this a limitation?Thank you1

When someone posts a new question on an existing thread, we sometimes move it to a new topic to give it more visibility, make it easier to track and manage, etc.  When I do that, the new topic is always created as a Conversation and there is no option to make it a Question.  I have to find the new topic and convert it to a question, which is an extra step I wish could be avoided.  Am I missing something?

Does anyone know of a way to remove the signature field from the user profile that does not include CSS? I have a feeling it will need to be done with Custom CS, but wanted to check first. Thanks

Hi Team,With the dynamic feature we are able to edit the email components once the program is active when we can’t edit the query builder and save it. In the old JO program we have option to edit the query builder and save it even when the program is live.

We are a global company and are slowly beginning to incorporate additional languages into our community. The main thing we’re struggling to figure out at the moment is how we’re going to send customer emails in different languages. For example, we send a weekly newsletter and we’d like it to go out to customers in English, Dutch, and French based on their stored language through cookies. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Or is there an alternative solution that’s worked for your community?Thank you!

The user has set their time zone to Asia/Tokyo. Despite this, the deadline date in the cockpit's home screen is displaying as yesterday (January 22nd), when it should be today (January 23rd).I'm unable to figure out where to adjust the settings to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Folks, A recent discussion with a colleague centered around breaking down data silos for CSMs; specifically where conversations are held both in SFDC chatter, and in Timeline. Is it possible to ingest Chatter Data from the Account/Contact level from SFDC and show this in the relevant timeline in CS? I’ve taken a look in the support documentation, and in the community without success - hoping I’ve missed somethin. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to see if there is a phrase to change the text on the groups page from “Find a new group” to something else? Thanks!

Could we get a complete list of technical specifications for viewing eLearning within our Gainsight CE Academy? We need to share this with our customer IT teams.  Thanks!

I’m looking for insights on whether it’s possible to have a NON-SSO environment for managing temporary accounts . The idea is to create accounts for contract employees so they can complete their training, and once they’re done, we can revoke their access.Does anyone know if such an environment exists or if there’s an alternative solution to achieve this?Looking forward to your suggestions!Thank you!

Hi Community, has anyone found a way to automate notifying product managers when a specific topic is mentioned in the community?  I’m open for any workarounds and ideas 🤔

Hi!Is there anybody else that experiences slow loading times and error pages at the moment? We’ve gotten a couple reports in the last 15 minutes and we can’t find anything wrong on our side.

I have 3 plus years of experience on Gainsight NXT platform. I worked in India for NXT Upgrades project in Gainsight company. I am in UK now, and looking for any SHORT-TERM, IMMEDIATE CONTRACT requirements in companies in UK for Gainsight Admin or Technical Customer Success Manager roles. Can anyone help me in finding some leads? That would be great help. Thank you.

Hi there! Wondering if anyone has run into this issue before on their community… Lately, we’ve had several users say they run into an ‘access denied’ message when trying to download an attachment, but then the issue seems to resolve itself several minutes later. Anyone know why this is happening?

We would like the ability to control which fields users can view within certain objects to ensure they are only seeing data they need. This has implications for operational efficiencies and compliance.

Hi, has anyone been able to make the header follow the page as you scroll down? For example, I want the 'Login' button on the header to remain accessible even as a guest scrolls through the page.

Hi there! I have recently feedback from some of our senior executives regarding the flows of Community when a user is not yet registered or not logged in. One of the main points of contention was from the flow of a non-logged in user pressing the ‘create a post’ button (see screenshot from executive below). Has anyone used any custom scripting or know of any workarounds to remove/improve this experience?

Web accessibility is one of the key factors for us, for the upcoming months and years. Gainsight community platform is in pretty good shape and it is good of course, but I would like to know is there any plans you can share with us? What improvements you are going to build here? 😊We are going to perform auditing but we havent done it yet so I cant share any wishlist or so 😀

Are there any notifications we can enable in ADDITION to email notifications? For example, a red number over my profile picture indicating someone has mentioned myself in a post, or someone has replied to a post. Or even some sort of browser pop-up notification? Thank you for the help!

Hi folks,do you use surveys for the visitors or members, to improve community´s user experience? How they have worked? We use and I think you use as well. Background:We have run our community for years. We have started with pop up -surveys. First tweaks we made we adjusted the trigger time how quick survey triggers, after user landed to the community. After those tweaks we got less feedback that survey is annoying because “I just wanted to read the topic and pop up filled my screen!#”%%&6”. So tweaks we made were ok.Most of the feedback were mostly about our products. Only few feedback were for the community itself. And it is sad if you are community captain. It is ok for the company of course. Then we made new changes to the survey. We choosed to get rid of the pop up -survey and we added floating feedback button to each and every community page. After this change, number of feedbacks dropped dramatically. I understand, especially when using mobile, floating buttons are difficult on s
