Does anyone know how to remove custom roles (i.e. employees) from the leaderboard side widget?

We’re getting more of our employees involved in the community, but it’s important to us that we highlight customer contributions.Does anyone know of a solution for this, please? Possibly, through some CSS?Thank you!Edit: the sidebar widget which can be found on other pages, not the one you have on the homepage. The editing capabilities seem to be different.

Creating videos grid

Hello guys,Is there is any possibility to create a videos grid like this in a custom page or to make reusable component and use it anywhere.Also when the user is clicking on the video it will play normally and when it click on the title it direct him to single article with the video.Also it's really helpful if this videos can be included in search mechanism

What is the best approach to structure your community categories when you have multiple languages?

Hi Everyone, We just started with the community and are structuring our categories. We are struggling with the multilingual approach. At the moment we have 4 Parent categories: Welcome, product category, product category, Learn & Share. We would like our customer to be able to ask their question about the product in their own language (we serve 5 languages). So we structure the product category like this:Parent category = product areaChild category = Language How do other companies deal with multiple languages (and 1 community instance)? Curious to hear about this!

I would like to have three images appear side by side on a page. They should be big enough to read. If I used Quicklinks on a customized page, the images are not large enough to read.Suggestions?Scott

Tip of the week: How to Embed Wistia videos into an Engagement

Hi All, I wanted to give a quick explanation of how to embed Wistia videos into an Engagement. Currently in PX Engagements, we can embed Youtube videos directly without changing any code. But if you want to embed Wistia videos, you need to use the following code: CODE: <iframe src="//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/{!video ID}" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" class="wistia_embed" name="wistia_embed" allowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" webkitallowfullscreen="" oallowfullscreen="" msallowfullscreen="" width="620" height="349"></iframe> If you are using Wistia video, make sure to use the src = "//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/{!video ID}" If you embed the direct code from Wistia, it will display an error.   I hope this is helpful, but please keep your product feedback and Community posts coming!   Thanks, Shireesha   ​

Configure Data Loader for PX Subscriptions Hosted in EU

This article will explain how to configure the Gainsight PX Data Loader tool to work with PX subscriptions hosted in the EU data center.How do I know if my PX subscription is hosted in the EU data center?If you access the PX UI via a url with the app-eu subdomain (https://app-eu.aptrinsic.com/), that PX subscription is hosted in the EU data center. That means you’ll need to use the https://api-eu.aptrinsic.com/v1 endpoint when using the PX REST API, and you’ll need to configure Data Loader to use an EU endpoint as well. Configuring Data Loader to Use the EU EndpointData Loader includes a config.json file that sets properties like apiKey and fieldMapping. One property that is not included in the template config.json file is “dataCenter”. If not explicitly set, this property defaults to the US data center. In the default state, if a user tries to connect Data Loader to an EU-hosted subscription, they will see the error “Unable to login to PX, validate API key”.To set the dataCenter param

Clarify Intervals and quit (never show again) conditions for engagements

My team and I are trying to fully understand the behavior for intervals on guide engagements. Our use case is new user onboarding. As a user is new to the product we want to provide guides on the key pages of the product to instruct a new user. These guides will be bundled and displayed in a KCB for the user to self serve, but we want to use automatic display for the first few visits of the user to ensure they know they have these resources available to them.Desired behavior is to show an automatically triggered guide 1 time per day up to 3 times. With the ability to quit and not show if the user finishes the guide in the first or second viewing.Our current method for configuring this is as follows: Schedule > Qualification scope set to show 3 times with a day between and on completion quit. We believe this is the base of what we want. But the uncertainty arises with “intervals” and “occurrences” the documentation does not strictly define these terms or finish the written example to

Engagement Lifecycle: How do you manage your active onboarding engagement as your product UI changes

Scenario: We are iterating on a page in our product.We currently have a page specific on-boarding engagement running.The Audience rule will not be updated so we will continue to automatically trigger for net new users, but anyone can re-run the engagement from the KBbot.Question: I am interested in understanding how your organization handles these scenarios.My objective is to begin to teach the organization good engagement hygiene, so I naturally lean towards B - but I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t over-engineering the process. A - do you just update the current engagement (lowest risk, easier)B - do you create a new engagement, adding in an exclusion for the previous engagement (to keep the numbers clean).C - it just depends, does anyone else but me (in our org) want separate numbers, etc.

Hi InSided,On all pages except for our Product Updates, there’s text before the ‘| Community’ in the browser tab (see attached screenshots). How can I add text into the tab for the updates page? I’ve looked through system control but can’t find a place to change this.Thanks

Hi All, I’m new GainSight and created an engagement of where show a tooltip. I have got analytics for how many users have seen the tooltip(with close icon) but what I need is, is there any way to get to know how many users have clicked on the close icon of tooltip? It doesn't look like report bars respect decimal precision

I would expect the bars to render using the decimal precision specified. If it’s a ten in a table, it should be a bar that reaches up to the ten spot. That’s not what I’m seeing in report builder:You can see it clearly on the sevens, but all repeated numbers do not share the same horizontal line.If I change the decimal precision the chart makes sense:Is this a bug?

Permissions for non-licensed Sally users?

We just rolled out Sally to our entire Customer Success organization and are considering rolling it out to the broader company, so non-licensed users can have access to view what CSMs are working on. Is there a different level of permission for non-licensed users? Would a non-licensed user be able to add timeline activities and update CTAs?  We would prefer to prevent individuals outside of customer success from making any changes

Export ALL engagement performance data and discrepancies in views

I have an in-app engagement that has completed after a two-week run, and I have four questions to which I cannot find answers in Gainsight’s documentation or community forum.Question #1: I want to export ALL of the data (over 854,000 rows) to CSV so that I can run analytics on it in Excel. However, when I download the data, I get only 10,000 rows. This appears to be an intended restriction, but it renders the export feature useless, so I have to wonder, am I doing something wrong? (See the first screenshot below.)Question #2: The number of rows shown in Gainsight has been increasing in tiny increments today, even though the engagement is completed. This morning it was 854,147 rows. Then after I visited another area of Gainsight and returned, it increased by one to 854,148. Now it’s up to 854,149. (See the second screenshot.) Question about Event API for Salesforce Apex Classes

I am trying to get familiar with the use of Gainsight Events in a GS sandbox. I’m a non-coder, so attempting to Google and ChatGPT my way through creating a basic SF Apex class/trigger that will fire when a Case is set to Closed.I created the Class and the Trigger (code below) the Trigger is firing when I close a case, but when it tries to send the HTTP request to the Gainsight Events endpoint URL (https://ep.gainsight.com/api/v0.1/eventManager/event), debug logs are showing a Forbidden 403 error: Is it possible there is a more current endpoint URL? I pulled it from the Event API Documentation but I guess it’s possible that hasn’t been updated if there is a more current one.Is there something on Gainsight’s TechOps side that has to be enabled on a system in order for the Events framework to be leveraged? I created a Topic and Event and set up the Apex Trigger to use the sharedSecret, tenantId, eventName, topicName and eventVersion from my sandbox.  Hoping someone with Events/SF Apex ex

How to adjust the community name while sending in-app invites

Hi, we are trying to send in-app invites to a custom .csv list, but the name of the community is wrong. I would love to send it on behalf of Pipefy Community and not pipefy-en.  Take a look:  Also, I've already changed my webmaster email on the control settings:  Any ideas of what is happening?

I just noticed that Secondary Button appears only when there is the “Main button” added.Should this work like this?“Secondary Button” normally indicates that you add secondary button, second most important button. Not second button.You should be able to add Secondary button independently, no matter is the “Main button” added or not.This is confusing also because in Theme / Buttons you can add own look and feel for secondary button.

How do you report on segment?

I know that segments can be set up and then used for Journey Orchestrator, but how do I report on the segment a particular company is in? Is there any way to get to that data via the Company object?
