Hi! Interested in using Zapier to assign points for specific actions (apart from the built-in gamification ones already in Gainsight). Is it possible to use the action of joining a particular group as a trigger event? I’ve read the documentation here and it seems like this isn’t currently supported, but wanted to double check.  @DannyPancratz I know you’re the Zapier wizard - have you ever done anything like this?

On applying the filters over timeline custom view as I could see most of the fields are not exposed as filterable. One of the use case below.regarding the timeline tab - is it possible to create a specific timeline view based on Context Name? I have a customer from chat that wanted to try and build a timeline view only with CTA related timeline entries, just wanted to get a better idea of what field needed to be leveraged to filter timeline entries by source. Based on what I have seen, you can’t create a timeline view filter off of Context Name, and many fields from timeline do not appear to be getting exposed as filterable fields on the timeline tab

If I have a course that is shared across multiple learning paths, does completing it in one also mark it as completed in the others?

Hello PX-Rockstars!What I am going to share with you all today is so close to my heart 🫶 If you have attended our recent office hours (Recording here), you already know what I am sharing today from the title itself. But for those who could not make it - here you go; this post is a recommended guide on personalising user experiences by capturing user inputs.  Over the last few months, we have seen significant updates to our V2 editor templates. Thanks to Abhilash ( @aharkut ) , our product manager, who takes the time to improve these templates to cater to various use cases. So if you see something inspirational and operational regarding dialogs/in-app engagements, you know whom to share it with. Let’s get to the basics of “User profiling.”“User profiling” is the process of improving the user profile data so that we can group them into specific groups on various metrics and personalize their reach outs and engagements in multiple ways.So user profiling is the first step you need to focu

Hi Team,I am trying to fetch data from GsUser object using API call:https://workday-se.gainsightcloud.com/v1/data/objects/query/GsUserI am able to fetch all the records from the object , but not to fetch only 1 record with a GSID=’1P0183CTFHYVUDCHIDPAU0O0N5ES1RBT8YN3’ , this seems to be a super user. Can you please let me know why I am not able to fetch this record? How can we fetch this record?Below is the screenshot of the user record we are looking for.

Can anyone tell me more about a potential integration with Amazon Redshift → CC?Thank you

Team,Do we have options to share/export the success snapshot from sidebar C/R 360,please let me know the possible options.

We have a simple two step email journey for new users, sent 7 days apart, on behalf of the CSM.Our CSMs flagged a small gap whereby if the assigned CSM changes in the 7 day period, the Sender for the second email will be the old CSM, rather than the new.My idea was to create a calculated field to pull in the new CSM’s email address as the sender address, but the “Add Calculated Field” button is unavailable on Active and Paused programs.Do we really have to clone the program and re-launch to add a new calculated field? I was surprised to find no Ideas/Questions related to this. Thanks!

We would like the ability to control visibility to certain records within an object for users. This will have implications on the user experience and ensure compliance. For example, we have a team selling working on X and a team selling product Y. We want CSMs who support Product X to only see Relationships that have a Type of X and CSMs who support Product Y to only see Relationships that have a Type of Product Y.

Hi folks! When people sign up to our community, we can obtain their consent to the T&Cs, but where is it recorded for later purposes? Thanks

Currently to create Customer Goal-associated CTAs, you have to create a new CTA or link an existing CTA from the Customer Goals tab. Is it possible to create a CTA and link it to a Customer Goal directly from Cockpit?

Hey Y’all,Does any have experience in custom pages that updated by external javascript? I am trying to create a release calendar on our community page. I am using a html widget on a custom page. I can hard code the values inside a table in html format, but I’d rather point the code to external service that can automatically be in sync with other applications. Has anyone found a way to do this? Thanks,Anthony

I noticed that I cant add topics from the Groups to the DCW. With my usecase I would like to use DCW with Custom Pages but I can see this benefical in the community front page as well.Is this feature coming in the future?

We have users that have been in our community for 5-10+ years. I’d like to do something to recognize them beyond points, badges, ranks, etc. Would love to hear what others have done for long-time user recognition.

@Gainsight CC Team I keep getting my posts/comments submitted for review in here. It’s really not an ideal experience.

Hi all, new here, and to community in general.👋 Thinking through the layout of our community home page and seeing some communities that have a secondary nav bar located on the top left or right of page before the primary nav.  I like the idea of a secondary nav to link to our corporate website outside of community and also thinking we can link to other external pages. Is there a best practice with the secondary nav, or does it just boil down to preference?

We are planning virtual sessions for our community members to learn best practices for use of our technology and network with their peers.  I’m curious how other organizations support networking for their community members.I am also wondering how others determine and measure if the client networking session was successful including:response rate level of engagement during the session increased use/adoption of our technology, evidence the client found value sales opportunities/securing renewal  improved CSAT improved client health

Hi Community experts! I feel like this was asked a year or more ago, and perhaps even a workaround identified, but today is it possible to hide the topic age from being displayed in the Topic Banner widget? In my screen cap, you can see the yellow banner with our Welcome post - 1 year ago (although it’s been updated, etc.) This might be disregarded by the new member because they think it’s outdated with the age, so I’d rather just have the title alone.cc: @Julian @kfolsom

Hi! We’re looking to extract data via API to recreate the below table and to be able to filter it by dateAny ideas? Cheers,Stine

I know that there is no easy way to collect data about the reason why user leaves from the group. Or is there?Or is there any workarounds?I am looking for some pop up -solution, what activates when user press “Leave group”.Or maybe we can send email to user and ask why did you leave from the group? Before that we have to know who have left and I think we dont have that data?

Is it possible to change the color of the ribbon added to the course tile? Also, I noticed there is a character limitation. Can that be increased? Thank you for the help!

On our user object, we have the user, user name, etc. and we also have that user’s manager which is a GSID (User ID). When building a scorecard widget I can go grab the CSM (User) but when I go to get the CSM manager, because it is one more level of drill down, I am only able to pull in the ID, it is not allowing me to go get the manager name. We have a CSM Manager field on the Company object and that is filled by a rule but it somehow consistently has issues. I would prefer to just have a lookup field. Is there a way we can create a new CSM Manager field on the company object, one that basically just looks up the manager based on the CSM without using a rule?

Journey analytics / program analytics are fine but they don’t show much. Does anyone know a clever way to track the ‘success’ of an email journey? i.e. via a rule and then using a report/data design? For example, if we send out a mass email to our customers to use a certain product feature (like our Connect feature) - is there an easy way that anyone can think of to natively track the success of the outreach? such as ‘before the email this person had zero connections, after entering the email campaign they now have 7 In 30 days) Trying to think of a way that isn’t too clunky. I can export CSVs of participants that have opened emails but that would require probably index matching or vlookups in a Google sheet which is less than ideal for my use case. I suppose you could ‘send to timeline’ and create a data design using the ‘timeline’ entry (filtering for that specific program) and then match that on a company level to their connection metrics? Thanks!

Yesterday I updated the thumbnail images to a few categories. I noticed that the images were not updating to the community. I thought there might be a delay but they still haven't updated.Maybe this has something to do with Control's new look?I confirmed today that in the Control new thumbnail images can be seen. I have tested with other browsers as well, with normal and incognito mode.

Since Custom Pages don’t fall in a category, how can I see how much traffic they get (besides using Google Analytics)?
