Hi,We find it painful when we write articles within Insided editor to not knowing the number of characters written and the limit. We found out that the limit is 50000, but then to adjust we must use another tool to count characters and adjust.Would it be possible to add an indicator in the text editor saying the consumed or remaining characters for a text ?Thanks
There currently does not seem to be a way to associate an email with a C/R360 when the search results are greater than 20. There does not seem to be any way to filter beyond the single search field. This is a big issue as I can’t use the email feature for a number of my accounts.
Please support them. Yet again another parity gap between 1.0 and 2.0.
As noted in this documentation and confirmed by support, JO analytics can take up to 24 hours to display any email metric results. This is not noted anywhere in the UI of the product and would be an easy way to avoid confusion when the results do not appear right away after publishing a program. As an admin, it would save me time by having information like this available within the UI. There is an option to “refresh” results within the program analytics, but there is no note present so it just looks like either the program didn’t work, or didn't produce results. This “quick fix” would help admins decrease time they need to spend debugging or searching for an answer.
“republish now” makes it seem like if I hit the button, that the program will go look to add new participants and run source queries, but really the action is just “save” the changes on the email template. I think the button should say “save” to be more clear
It would be amazing if a trash bin could be added to the Rules Engine like how there is in Reports. Sometimes rules may be deleted accidentally and there is no way to recover them unless we’ve copied down the rule ID at some point. The trash is a nice safety feature in Reports - if we delete a report we find we later need, we can go to the trash and recover it. This would be great to also have in Rules Engine, especially for rules that have hours put into building them!
-- Submitting this on behalf of the customer --Goal: Would like to get our users the engagements they need OnDemand without requiring so many bots. Below I’m framing the approach with the current functionality, but would like to have an easier and more manageable solution. In general, Admin users of our platform might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. However, these same users may need access to additional engagements based on the products they’re subscribed to. For example:Admins subscribed to Product A might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 6 & 7.Admins subscribed to Product B might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 8 & 9.Admins subscribed to Product C might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 10 & 11.Admins subscribed to Product A & B might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 6 & 7, plus 8 & 9.Admins subscribed to Product A & C might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 6 & 7, plus 10 & 11.Admins subscribed to Product B & C might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 8 & 9, plus 10 & 11.Admins subscribed to Product A, B, & C might get access to engagements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus 6 & 7, plus 8 & 9, plus 10 & 11.To the nth degree… (as more products are considered, we would need to add even more bots; additionally, some users with permissions might need related engagements as well and this would add even more complexity to the above). Since I can only set the audience at the bot level (and not at the engagement level within the bot), I'm forced to create multiple bots to help manage the process. In the future, I'd like to add engagements specific to other products we offer and even other types of users it would exponentially increase the number of bots needed as the current functionality exists. Using a new example highlighting the user permissions aspect, a user may be a Product Owner and would need a bot with those related engagements. However, if the user is also a Manager, then the user would need a bot that offers the Product Owner engagements plus the Manager engagements (there would also need to be a bot for just the Manager engagements as well – then layer that on the Product model discussed earlier). A few key points:Each product can offer its own engagementsEach user permission can offer its own engagementsEach user can have one or more special permissions and access to one or more products; therefore, each user needs access to all of the related engagements available (based on their permissions and product subscriptions)Based on current functionality, a bot would need to be created for each of the items as well as each combination of these items (exponentially gets bigger and it's not scalable to manage content).Mapping this out is time consuming AND is a pain point. Additionally, each time I go to add or remove an article or engagement to the knowledge center bot, I need to add or remove it from EACH version of the bots.
CTAs and Timeline Activities have Types, why not JO Programs? It would be helpful if we could assign Programs a “type” similar to CTAs and Activities so that we could categorize, group, compare Programs by type for reporting purposes. Ideally we would be able to add and define our own custom types like we can for CTAs and Timeline but I’m sure there are some common default Types as well. For context, this idea came up while working with our Customer Marketing team on some Program-related reports.
Another in a theme of Ideas posted here about the Horizon UI and it’s limited visibility in its “working areas” compared to the unutilized nearby white space. In the Rules Engine > Action, the target field name is very limited. In my example, it’s not so bad. But once you’re loading to many target fields, especially where they have similar names, the truncation of the target field name is a blocker. Yes, the visibility of the target field name is responsive, in minimal ways, to a larger window and larger screen. However, one must have a impossibly large monitor and window to improve the visibility of field names in an example like this.Yes, one can also hover to see the full field name. However, that’s time consuming and clunky, especially when loading many fields. In both work-arounds above, we’ve taken an “Admin Quality of Life” step backwards from Bionic rules, where these limitations do not slow an admin’s work.
I was surprised to discover this morning that I can’t “filter on field” in HRE / DD in a fetch task, but only filter on value. I don’t understand that. If I just need my dataset with one filter on field, why would I have to create transform task when filtering on value is allowed. What I can do in a fetch: What I can do in a transform: So can we please have the ability to filter on field at fetch task level.
It seems that tokenizing multi-select picklists in survey questions is a no-no. Can this please become a thing?I am a broken record, certainly, but nothing about multi-select picklists actually works. Is there a plan, @rakesh to look into how dysfunctional these are, and addressing them globally to make them work. Thank you!
Hi Team,One of the customers requested to increase the limit of 500 picklist values to 1500. Their use case is to use those fields on C360 layouts in a section.Could you please increase the limit with out having a limit of 500.@Bhawya
This is both a question and an idea. Currently, CTAs generated via JO display the following link in Cockpit: This link isn’t clickable when one doesn’t have JO permissions (it’s unclear which JO permissions, I believe this goes beyond Analyze permissions). None of our standard users (CSx) have JO permissions and as a result, the link isn’t clickable. Those users don’t have any business with JO, and there is no reason for us to let them access JO or perform their own analysis of programs. Documentation isn’t overly clear as to what permissions are required to be able to view this information too (and no impersonation makes it harder to test). As such, I would like to request that:Product documentation be updated to clarify how this works Standard full license users be able to view participant details without being let into JO or special custom permissions be given to them Admins be able to disable this link from displaying in certain cases (in CTA layouts for example).cc: @alex_legay Thanks!
C360 Contact View Section to allow an Admin to define a Standard Filtered View for the Contacts section. We define key contact as having a specific Contact Type and pull in an individual field for ‘Key Contact’, we would like to set this up at an admin level for all C360 accounts. At this time, we’re deleting contacts who have left an account but would like to retain on the backend in order to retain survey, email, and other relevant data.
I love the addition of this object for horizon analytics. One thing that would make a massive improvement on it is the inclusion of some kind of Active boolean field. Essentially, I have a few reports based on this object that look at stale assets. What I’m now running into is that when a report or dashboard is deleted, it’s record still persists. This is fine, but now they’re showing up on my stale asset list because no one has used them which is obvious as they have been deleted. I can filter them out manually, but that gets really clunky, especially if I’m filtering on asset name on a report level, but have an asset name global filter on a dashboard - that could potentially get me undesired results. If assets were marked as Active = false when they were deleted, it would be an easy filter add to reports where you only wanted to look at usage for active assets. This would also allow you to retain some historical data for deleted assets.
Due to Gainsight not supporting automated parity between GS and SFDC picklists, I’m trying to set up a process that compares picklist values between the two systems on a daily basis. The end goal is to keep track on a dashboard and notice when a new value(s) has been added to the SFDC picklist, meaning I need to manually update the GS picklist. However, I’m having a tough team even being able to report on the picklist values in Gainsight. Where do I even start? I’d like to see this be a custom object in the MDA perhaps, or at least have some place that stores this information.
Gong released a wonderful feature in using AI to create a Call Brief and next steps directly from the contents of the call. it would be so fantastic if this is something we could import into alongside the video and trackers to give the CSMs an even better jumping off point outside of their notes they may have taken
Currently you can only set the maximum number of companies per page in My Portfolio to 50, despite all other table reports being able to be extended to 200 records per page. Can we please expand My Portfolio to go up to 200 records per page to be consistent with the other behavior? The 50 limit is negatively impacting the viability of My Portfolio and in line editing for our CSMs with higher volumes of accounts (over 50). I understand you can move page to page but it is more confusing to do this for them / not be able to see all their customers.
When in the Engagements Configuration window within Success Plan administration, is it possible to show the path for the fields being used in the filters? In other parts of Gainsight, fields being used are often either highlighted in blue or the path is shown when hovering over the field. However, here it doesn’t show any indication of what field is being used, and this becomes particularly challenging when it comes to fields like GSID which can exist in any object or lookup. In my use case, a few Success Plan fields were already configured months ago by someone else, and I wanted to add another field today. I used the previously configured fields to figure out how to set mine up, but was stuck when it came to which GSID fields were being used in the filters, since again, there was no indication of which GSID fields were being used. If these filters aren’t setup correctly, the field will not work as expected in the Success Plan. Not sure how many others are looking for this feature, but figured I’d throw it out there in case others have experienced something similar!
Can we add the ability to open email templates in new tabs with the new email template builder? Other areas of the product have this capability (like the new Horizonized Rules Engine) Thanks!
Is it possible to have the “contains/does not contain” operators added to the “User Email” filter in Segments? Part of one of the main queries we use in our external JO programs currently is a filter to exclude any email addresses that include our company domain. This seems like a bit of an oversight.
We want to create a formula field on a report that indicates if the modify date on a Success Plan is greater than a certain amount of time. This is intended to use to help identify more easily Account Plans that need to be actioned on. Formula allows string, number, and date but not Case so we can add a Boolean like we can in Data Designer. Would be great to be able to have this functionality in GS
Hi, is it possible to have a consistent summary in the rule chains and rules?I would like to see in both at what time it started, ended (like rules have but chains do not, you have to figure it out looking at the time on the left for start and below the chain name for the end) and how long it took to run at a glance. Thanks
