Is Horizon Analytics going to support date fields and min/max aggregations in the widget view of report builder? Use case:I want to add a widget onto my C360 of the last QBR date for the customer. This would be a widget based off of a report (Timeline/Data Designer) that has "QBR Date" aggregated by MAX to get the most recent one. I would prefer this to my alternate plan of adding a "last qbr" field to the company object, populating it via rule, and adding that field on the summary. Is this sort of functionality planned? Is it possible already and I’m just not aware? Should this be a product request? @rakesh
It would be great if we could use a specific weekday as a conditional wait field. I think we would need the “Day Of” Date function that is available in calculated fields for Data Management to be available in Data Designer and Program Query Builder.
We have a lot of dashboards that show us levels of activity and how our metrics look. One element that would be really helpful is to have the capability to include a goal in the report. Some sort of manual line created that show how our metrics measure against what we're trying to achieve.
Background: Sometimes you need to account for multiple, specific variations of a URL with a combination of IS and IS NOT rules. You also may not know all variations of a URL, leaving a risk that your rule allows for problematic matches. Problem: We can often get there with PX’s existing wildcard functionality, but it can take many layered URL rules to accomplish what a single Regex rule can do. Here’s an example:For a URL-based feature in the Product Mapper, let's say there are multiple pages we want to map that are all under the following base route: /energyhr#/energybi/reports/, where the page name after reports/ could be all, new, or a numeric ID of a specific report which could look something like 10012438 To track a specific report via a feature (the reports/10012438 scenario), you would need to use at least three URL rules, connected by an AND operator: URL IS */energyhr#/energybi/reports/* URL IS NOT */energyhr#/energybi/reports/all URL IS NOT */energyhr#/energybi/reports/new You could condense these three statements into one using Regex: /energyhr#/energybi/reports/d{8}Request: Allow the use of Regex (regular expressions) in PX’s URL rules for Product Mapping and Engagement segmentation. This would save time while building URL rules, as well as make for more robust ones that can account for a wider range of URL variations.
This was a request from one of my end users and I don’t see this functionality but it would be super useful. Basically, what I would like to see is something similar to the timeline log status that you can get in Gmail/Chrome, but in outlook: As far as I can tell, right now you need GS assist open and the email in question open to see if it is logged, but there’s no way to look at a folder in outlook and quickly see what has/hasn’t been logged. P.S. if this is currently possible please show me the way.
Would be great if we can have a connector which helps us pull data from a report created within Gainsight to google sheets or excel without downloading.Just a simple connection and rest stuff we can get done in the sheet.Once I create a report in GS I can fetch the data in my sheet by creating a simple connection and do the automations like sending emails automatically in a custom format using VBA macros etc. Also, once this is done I can simply schedule the connection and my manual intervention is done.
Almost every other aspect of the product that has been Horizonized now includes an ability to increase the number of records displayed on a page (default 20, can increase to 50, 100). Unfortunately, this functionality isn’t available in Adoption Explorer -- a feature that is designed for managing usage data. Please ensure parity with this product feature! What I want to see, as it is in Data Management > DataWhat I get in Adoption Explorer > All Fields in Object
We recently found a big gap (at least big for us) with Email Logs 2.0. We are heavy users of relationships and have quite a few relationship level programs. For these programs, to pull any company level info into a report you first have to look up through the relationship to the company object and select the field you need. This is fine if you are only pulling a report of relationship programs. However, we have a need to pull a combination of relationship and company programs into the same report. To do this today, we’d need to have 2 separate fields for each company level field we want to surface….one that looks up through the relationship, and one that looks up directly via the company id. This is a mess for reporting and super confusing for end users that don’t ‘see’ the back end or understand how this data works. They just want to be able to filter by company to show all emails that have been sent to an account. The ask...please auto populate the Company Id field for both Company and Relationship level programs. The data is already there (just in the wrong place)….or at least allow us an option within relationship programs to map the company id there.
When adding a net new Boolean field to an existing object with records, when setting the Default value, it would be great to have an option to update all fields to this value. The primary reason for this ask is due to the inability to target NULL values in a freshly created boolean field requires the admin to create a dedicated rule just to set all field values to Null prior to updating with real “true” data. An additional item that would support this would be to limit any Boolean field to only Two states… True/False and eliminate Null.
Posting on behalf of a customer: As a user, I would like to be able to see where someone was in my product when they submitted feedback via the KC Bot. For example, they might say “the button on this page is broken” but we don’t know what page the user is on.
Posting on behalf of a customer:Currently, we can add articles present in the knowledge bases we integrate, and to redirect users to custom article(not in knowledge base) we have to put the target URL in an engagement and add that in KCB, but it would be very helpful if we could add custom articles as a hyperlink in the onboarding tab of the KC Bot.This would allow user to simply click on the text(hyperlink) to land them on the custom article.
There have been some improvements made to the KC bot based on the previous request:“I would want my users to have the ability to drag the bot around the UI as they are working. They may need to refer to documentation as they are working on our product and would like to refer to it as they are working. “ The released and the current behavior isn’t that UX-friendly and helpful based on the user needs. Issues:1. KC bot can’t be resized and it blocks much of the UI2. The dragging behavior doesn't let the actual bot widget to be moved around. It is either presented in the left or right part of UI, as configured. That’s it! Re-iterating the request that meets the user experience needs and the user goals. We want the users to have the ability to1. resize the bot window so that it doesn’t block much of their “work area” in the UI2. move it around the UI along with the bubble enabling dragging to any part of the page
With the current product design this is not possible, you can only search the articles from the knowledge base in the Bot. We want to create articles/link to articles in PX and then have the user search for these. Directly added articles should be listed higher than KB ones.
Will we be able to merge to different the types of surveys into one engagement. For example could we have one survey that involves multi choice questions, open text questions, nps survey style questions and CES or Boolean style questions?
We really like the NPS survey in Gainsight PX and the functionality, but we would like to add additional questions for more in depth analysis. It would be great to either have the ability to add additional steps to the NPS survey, or the ability to embed the NPS question in a multi-question survey.
When building an engagement, there are several light gray buttons that are barely visible in the app. I was building a Slider and nearly missed the option to copy a slide (very helpful!), and I didn't see how to re-order the slides (also great!) simply because the icons for these actions are too subtle and grayed out unless the user mouses over them.
One of my customer (Phil Kowalski) from the company (Wordstream Inc.) is looking to sort Timeline activity as per the log date or created date. Currently, the 'Timeline' tab is used to sort only by using 'Activity Date' and there is no other way to toggle the sort from "Activity date" to "Log/created date"in timeline. As an alternative, we can get the data of logged date via report builder tool. This feature will add an additional option to sort the timeline acitivity as per the 'logged date' or 'created date' as well.
Played around a bit with Success Snapshots this morning - hadn’t tried to use it since its last revamp, and it doesn’t appear to have improved - in fact the experience seems to have gotten worse especially around formatting, token mapping, etc.Has Gainsight thought about just trying to go the other direction and create an add-in/plug-in that allows user to pull/embed pre-defined reports/charts directly into PPT/Google Slides? Leave all the formatting and stuff to the “pros” and just allow users to retrieve/embed reports directly into the template through an integration.
Being able to update Success Plans via rules is great. However, there are a few pain points that make using the Success Plan action a real chore: Success Plan Type needs to be Active in order to be selected in Rule action. This really makes data cleanup a pain, as you have to re-activate a Success Plan type, add it to your rule, run the rule, then deactivate it again. Not user friendly. You cannot close a Success Plan via rule action if it is in “Draft” status. If you’re doing any bulk data management, this means you need to have a rule to set them all to active, and THEN to closed. This makes absolutely no sense and again, not user friendly. You can likely get around these with the Success Plan API, but if you’re looking to make the product easier to use and more user friendly, then out of the box actions that let you complete the tasks you need to is a good place to start.
Hi team!We previously had the ability as a CSM to share success plans to our internal colleagues (e.g. AEs) when sharing it to our customers. Recently, a change has occurred and we can no longer to do this! Please BRING THIS BACK, as this provided visibility to the AE and helped them update their account plans whilst tracking the customer’s success plan. Thanks!
This idea likely has a pre-requisite of this idea: My thinking: Options to a “announce” a new event are limited to low-value topic posts that create clutter in search etc. Really what those posts are trying to accomplish is to get “new event created” into activity feeds to promote awareness. Add events to the types of content that show in the feed seems like the way to solve it. Although it likely comes with downstream complications like the idea shared above: you’d want your mindset to be more of a “publishing” mindset like with articles and product updates, which would require the ability to save events as a draft until ready to publish. (vote for that idea above!)
We have CSMs attach QBR decks and some other files to the timelines within CTAs.However, we have no way to report this on the surface! It is like the files are sitting in some closed repository that we do not have access and cannot report on. We are looking for a capability to report on the files attached to Timelines, CTAs and show it in the C360. This reporting enables our exec staff to see the files without have to do fetch them from CTA searches and Timeline searches. @samantha_braastad mentioned a very similar problem we have today. Our CSMs are having to upload the same file multiple locations and is not a good process for us and cannot report on it either.
