Pretty sure I’d already requested this but it seems either I didn’t or it was archived. There can’t be a legit reason why we wouldn’t be able to add a self-lookup field on the call to action object. We can on company, on relationship etc. Yet, we can’t on the call to action object. In the spirit of feature parity and consistency: please allow it. Use Case:We are using success plans to manage PS projects. Some of the project items can be subject to escalations if they go south. We want to be able to track escalations within the success plan ideally. To that effect, linking the “Escalation CTA” we’ll create to the other CTA it relates to provide thorough context about the escalation (What project? (success plan); what part of the project (related CTA lookup)). I’m not interested in using a timeline record since an escalation is much like a risk and it takes a sequence of steps to resolve it; and there are lessons learnt. As such, a CTA is a better option to track and manage escalations.
We have several types of record merge capabilities in Gainsight CS. Right now merging (or even deleting for that matter) Users is not one of them.Being able to manage your user records is a pretty fundamental aspect of a software tool and it is surprisingly lacking, and if you ever encounter duplicate records it causes a huge headache.
Staircase has a lot of useful topics, but we would like the ability to tune more of them across our different engagement models. For example, “No Reac-out to stakeholder” is generally defined as: “There has been no communication or engagement with a specific stakeholder for a certainperiod, which could affect the relationship and account health”.In the topic though, there doesn’t seem to be a configurable range like you see for the “Stakeholder not engaged” topic. This might be an insight that is calculated just based on your tiering, so you get the timing based on that analysis, but it’s not super clear from the setup given that others have rules you can apply. At any rate, it would be helpful to be able to fine tune these areas for different tiers as needed, and would work well with this idea:
I had a request from leadership for the ability to have Copilot auto-generate Executive Summaries that can be pushed to Slack channel for accounts in a specific tier on a regular cadence.I tried leveraging the Company Cheat Sheet object, but the layout and unpredictable number of rows per category of the data + the inconsistent population of fields make it near impossible to use that object for any valuable purpose.
We are looking for an easy way to split a power list in half to send a message to one sub group and a slightly different one to another sub group to compare the results. Of course, we can set up a flag and populate it. I am just looking to see if we can do it easier than that. Is this something we have considered as a feature for JO?
I have a pretty simple use case that I thought case expression fields would solve for until I hit the 5 criteria field limit for a single case. Similar to this post about the limitation of the number of cases, this limitation is, well, limiting. The proposed solution in another similar thread was to do multiple case expressions across multiple transformation tasks, which seems redundant given this could be solved for in a single field if the limits were expanded.
We had a user recently request the ability to populate additional fields when using Gainsight Assist. The use case is we have a picklist field called “Sentiment” on our “meeting” layout in Timeline, and rather than having to go to Gainsight to find and update the entry they submit via Gainsight Assist, it would be much more convenient to make that “Sentiment” field available in Gainsight Assist. Thanks for considering.
Hi team. Can we extend the Formula fields usage limit in Transform Task. Which means, for ex: in Case Expression we are allowed to create only 10 Cases and if we want to use more than 10 Cases we have to create one more Case Expresion. And after that we have to create one more Transform Task just to concat these 2 case expressions. So if we can change the limit from 10 to 20 or some thing it would be good and helpful for us to eliminate the unnecessary transform task just to Concat those Case Expressions. Thanks.
When one copies and pastes an article’s (Topic’s) URL from the front-end, one gets this long, full-path URL:https://help.constructconnect.com/getting-started-with-on-screen-takeoff-112/on-screen-takeoff-gcip-product-information-and-download-2760But what one actually NEEDS is one directly to that article so that if the article is moved or renamed, GSKB will still find it:https://help.constructconnect.com/topic/show?tid=2760
Within our CS department, we have different tiers of managers, CSMs, and CS support personas who all need to see different things. It would be great if we could configure the OOTB widgets to perform different actions based on needs. For example, the CTA widget on Home is designed to filter CTAs by Company→ CSM, not CTA → Assignee, which causes problems for Gainsight users who are not CSMs to see tasks assigned to them. I’d love for the full team to get use out of this part of GS Home but the current set up is proving difficult. These are a few example use cases I’m finding where this limitation causes issues:Our support team who have no companies assigned to them won't see any CTAs in the widget, even if they have CTAs assigned to them to aid with CSM work CSMs who are doing work on larger cross-collaboration projects won't see the CTAs assigned to them because it's not on one of their listed companies Managers who have CTAs assigned to aid in the renewal process for CSMs won’t see those CTAs because again the company is not under their name. This defeats the use of the CTA widget for anyone except CSMs. Would love to see either a change to the widget to have it pull from CTA→ Assignee, or an option to configure it to do that. Thanks in advance for considering this!
Hi Team, While working for a customer we had to create around 10 + tasks/Datasets with just change in Filter condition. It would have been Good if we had clone task/dataset option. Thank You
Currently Cheat Sheet only scans through Timeline entries. However a lot of customer feedback / sentiment lies in Surveys, NPS. Here are the areas Horizon AI should scan and add to cheat sheetNPS and survey responses CTA & Success Plans Open Opportunities
Please enable a way to group report widgets from multiple objects into the same C360/R360 report section so we can keep related insights together without creating separate sections/tabs per object.ProblemOur “logical” views (Health, Adoption, Support, etc) often require reports that come from different objects. As we add more objects and reporting needs, the current approach becomes cumbersome: We end up creating many separate widgets/sections/tabs to surface everything Related insights get split across the page and/or tabs based on object boundaries, not how CSMs work Reporting sections are so white space heavy that if you only have one or two reports on a section, it takes up half the page and you have to scroll to get to the next part Impact Harder for CSMs to consume: related insights aren’t co-located Higher admin maintenance: more widgets, more layout work, more updates over time Scaling issue: adding more data increases UI complexity disproportionately Why this mattersThis aligns C360/R360 layouts with how teams reason about customers (“show everything relevant to this outcome”), and prevents layout sprawl as the data model grows. The following example is all one tab on a C360 that shows data related to Instances. This is all coming from 4 different objects, and now I have to add a couple more sections to this page due to dependency on new data designers that require some calculation before I can create a report. It becomes unwieldy. Would be so much better if I could group reports logically as opposed to by object.
A while back Gainsight released a native Slack connector but only made it available for use in Advanced Programs. This means that if I want to send a Slack message from Gainsight I either have to use AP (which is extreme overkill when the use case isn’t tied to an email or survey) or I have to create/maintain a custom Slack application, Custom Connector, and JSON coding in External Actions for this purpose, which requires a whole separate set of skills. Why isn’t the native connector available to Rules Engine? There are innumerable use cases where this would be valuable.
Allow Gainsight Admins to customize the Gainsight Search. v1 for full tenant, v2 by user / user attribute like 360 layouts.Use cases and examples:Order the result types so Relationships / Companies / Person records are in a unique order in the search (we use Relationship more often than Company or Person, but it is at the bottom of the search) Order the results themselves, for example, within Person records, show ones with an Active Status or Role first Filter result types, for example, do not show Relationships Filter results, for example, Inactive Companies and Relationships are not seen
Would like to have the same functionality as is available on CTA fields, where you can mark them as being required in order to close. On CTA layout it looks like this; Whilst on SP layout that option is missing;
There are many enhancement requests for real time rules to expand its capabilities. It’s such a powerful feature and it’s so disappointing to not see it get the enhancements it deserves to make it even more useful and powerful for admins. Please expand Event Topics to all objects for Real Time Rules! Right now, admins are limited to selecting from the following Event Topics:Company Relationship Type Relationship Call to Action CS TaskIn addition, please consider adding ALL OBJECTS, including but not limited to:Unified Scorecard Custom Objects (already requested, see below): Person Objects (already requested, see below): Activity Timeline GS Opportunity Flattened Survey ObjectsWhile there are many posts asking for different object access for real time rules, this is a post to try to encompass the need to expand Event Topics for Real Time Rules overall.
It would be great if it’s possible to schedule posts under product updates same as in articles.
We have a clearly-defined series of moderator tags that we use for various purposes. Although we don't have a huge list, it can be difficult to remember the exact format of the tag. For example, is it life-sciences, life-sci, life_sci etc. It would be really helpful if the platform would autocomplete or offer suggestions for these tags when you're typing them in, based on the tags which have been applied before. I think this could be useful for public tags as well so people all use the same one instead of getting several variations of the same thing.
Hello!Would it be possible to have a better email formatting and content for Data Designer notifications?I believe the huge image on top can be shrunk or even removed, giving more room to the actual content of the email.Thank you
I came against this hidden “log to timeline” issue again... In the new UI the menu is hidden and very easy to miss (issue already flagged in this idea)Wouldn't it be more effective if each program had a switch to turn on ALL emails on the timeline by default? See my awesome mockup as reference: If we want just some of them, we can leave that turned off, and select the ones we want to log in one by one (hopefully, in a “in your face” way like we had in the old UI so we don’t miss it)
