It would be great if there were a feature to apply cell coloring in report tables (similar to filling cells in Excel). For example, by assigning different colors to status management items (selection list), users can easily identify important data within tables placed on the dashboard.
It would be nice if people without Gainsight access (viewer or full) can view survey responses. Maybe this is a setting on the Survey properties. Our use case is that we send out Implementation surveys weekly and only a couple members on that team who manage the results have access. It would be nice to be able to share result URLs with the project manager that worked on that account. We were able to save responses as PDFs in the past but I think with the NXT migration something changed. Now, when you go to Print and save responses as a PDF it only prints 1-2 questions on the page, resulting in having to print multiple PDFs or take screen shots for one survey result. The first suggestion is preferable but the second would suffice
Hi, Considering admin-defined cockpit views are created for both global and local cockpits without the ability to assign them, we have to ensure the layout works for both areas of consumption. For example: In C/R360 cockpit, I DO NOT need the “Company > Relationship”. But I do in Global Cockpit to make out risks from a given company: However, the only permissions we can set are these:while we should also be able to assign those views to contexts (Global Cockpit or C/R360 Cockpit). Please consider reviewing the permission set so we can assign cockpit views to contexts and not just what’s on offer now.ThanksA
Apologies if this has been raised before, I’m pretty new around here and couldnt see anything related to the current inability to merge/move a number of comments at one time to a new or existing thread. Currently, me and my team are having to (and have had to for quite some time) move a single comment at a time to a new/existing thread. You can seemingly highlight and select invidivual commentsIs there a way we could implement a feature where we can select multiple comments (like in the image above) and then select the ‘move’ option that can move all selected comments in one go? We find that we carry out topic reviews bi weekly and sometimes may need to merge super engaged threads into a new or existing one. Doing this one comment at the time is very tedious and time consuming. Thanks,
Converting this Question to an Idea per Support’s suggestion: When creating Timeline Activities via the API we’d like the ability to also associate them to a CTA.Members of our teams may own CTAs rather than Companies or Relationships and therefore make updates via Timeline Activities directly from the CTAs. We’re exploring integrations with other systems where a CTA may have a corresponding ticket, and we’d like the ability to push updates from that ticket back to the corresponding CTA in the form of a Timeline Activity.
Nothing fancy, a basic filter to select if the report is “used in” Home, C360, Dashboards... Being able to order by that field will help too, making it easier to identify/delete the dependencies. I noticed that “Used in” and “Add Record Enabled” are the only fixed fields in the view that cannot be sorted: And speaking of filters… can you change the name of the “Report Types” filter? It is not at all obvious that = Yes means the report has been marked as Quick Insights. I couldn’t find any reference in the documentation either.
In HA Report Builder, we can add a filter for our list view to create a filtered view of all our reports. I would love to see “Used In” available as a filter so I can easily filter the reports list to only show reports used in certain dashboards (or exclude reports not used in anything)
When a product feature tree gets out of hand or has a very complex structure it would be very helpful to identify features that are not tracking usage or simply don’t have any. Possibly in the product feature tree filter section, somewhere in adoption analytics or a “# time used” column in the “Features” S3 extract.
Currently using a engagement (guide) Custom Button there are action types to open a specific KC Bot or Article. However our KC Bot content is broken down into Categories and when we refresh the content, we go one category at a time. We announce a refresh of a category to users with a custom engagement that opens the KC bot with a custom button. However we would like the button to take the user straight into the updated category, rather than the user having to remember which category has been updated from the previously showing engagements, scroll through and find it themselves, and click on it themselves.
This idea is similar to Background: I’d like to understand how long it takes for new users to complete the 3 basic functions of the application. Without a pre-defined order our application has 3 major milestones for a new user but we do not force them to perform them in any order.Problem: PX funnels only report on the order of the steps in the process. Very specifically a user must do them in order or else they won’t be shown as completing the funnel. Request: Allow funnels to evaluate the actions in any order. Simply require the user to complete all the listed milestones.
Background: I’d like to understand the impact of my Engagements on user behavior over time. In order to do this, I need to understand whether or not the average time to complete a process (funnel) decreases - or increases - over time. This would require that the funnel track every pass that a user makes at a process. Problem: PX funnels only report on the first pass a user makes at a process. This skews the report heavily towards an onboarding use case (ie. how do new users tackle a process), but does not give me insight into whether or not users are becoming more efficient as they learn my application, or if a release impacted the time it takes for experienced users to complete a process. Request: Allow funnels to evaluate all of a user’s attempts at a process, rather than the first one. This will give me a much more comprehensive view of behavior and the overall experience users have in my application. This is also frankly how I would expect a funnel to work, anyway. It was a surprise to learn that PX is using a small subset of the available data to build this report.
We have 2 Types of Relationships in Gainsight, 1 has 98k records and the other has 700. Due to similar naming conventions, when using a lookup on Relationships, users are often unable to find the Type with 700 records because all the values from the Relationship Type that has 98k records apply. I cannot share screenshots in this forum due to compliance, but this is a made up example.Create Relationships with the following values: ABCDEF ABCDEF - 1 ABCDEF - 2 Continue with 24 additional relationships counting up to - 26 Create a new Data Management object with a field with a lookup on Relationship GSID Create a report that allows you to add a new row to the table Use the lookup, even if you type ABCDEF, you will get the other - 26 results and not the one with the exact name matchingIn our instance, ABCDEF has a different Type. If we could filter the lookup by Type, we would never see the other options and this would work as intended. We actually don’t want users to be able to select any of the other type of Relationships.
Write with AI is only available in areas with email components. We would like to leverage the feature in other Rich Text editors throughout the platform. As a CSM responsible for creating and updating Risk CTAs, we must provide a concise summary that captures the risk details, themes, next steps, and resolution notes. This summary enables leaders to quickly grasp the situation during weekly Risk meetings. Cheat Sheet and Timeline are used to supplement this summary.Incorporating Write with AI in rich text fields will improve the quality and conciseness of the summaries we present to leadership. Having the feature available on rich text editors would also be valuable in other areas such as Customer Goals, Success Plans, etc.
Would like to be able to post an article into several child categories, but not to be visible several time at the category level. (few members may belong to several child categories and would like them to see it only one time)
Currently, an end user that views a report can reorder and resize the columns in that report however, those changes do not persist beyond that session. It is incredibly frustrating as an end user when you have to reorder and resize multiple columns on a report over and over and over and over...
For reporting purposes, especially when looking at Automated Emails over time. Two places this could be helpful. Email Campaigns Overview - export the summary metrics for all campaigns Email Campaign Details page - export the various metric details available when you click to expand (image below)Table available when clicking into Email metric. It would be good to make this exportable.
From a support ticket I recently logged:“The WHATID/WHOID resolve only works on the parent Object; thus, we can't use this feature from an ... object [that looks up to the parent Object]. Therefore I suggest creating a Data Designer to join both these objects to create a dataset which holds all the required fields you wish to maintain”This is a very cumbersome workaround for a seemingly simple task (in my case: adding the Association ID to a report on a flattened survey object). Please consider adding the option to resolve WHOID/WHATID also when the field is pulled into a report through a lookup.
Posting this for others to review, upvote, and comment on, plus for our PX Product team to consider adding in a future release. Summary:In PX Engagements Audience Logic, there is no current in-app Engagement Rule option to target users based on whether an Engagement button was clicked or not in a different Engagement. Those standard Engagement buttons are already tracked by PX, including the redirect URL if applicable too, so they would be super valuable in other Engagement targeting. Similar previous posts can be found here:https://communities.gainsight.com/product-experience-px-16/define-audience-rule-based-on-cta-22990https://communities.gainsight.com/customer-success-cs-15/use-cta-as-rule-in-engagement-audience-13576 Workaround:It is possible to use PX Engagement Buttons to update User attributes and create Custom Events, but these likely require editing HTML to include custom JavaScript that is not easy for all users. Proposed Solution:Add tracked Engagement CTA clicks as a new Engagement Rule option in Audience Logic Criteria. This will allow other Engagement to be targeted based on whether users have clicked or not clicked the buttons that were included in another Engagement. Bonus points if we can get this CTA criteria down to a redirect URL criteria, Engagement Step #, and/or the button’s purpose.
Give the option to open the hyperlink (insert link) in a new tab. This way you make sure that the member stays on our community, and doesn't have to reopen the community url every time.
It would be nice as an admin to be able to view all users’ timeline drafts across the organization. If someone leaves the organization or is absent for an extended period of time, it would be helpful to be able to view what that person was doing so we can stay on top of our book of business.
I know this is far-fetched and a “nice to have”, but would it be possible to tokenize dynamic dates in the names of a report and its description, in a rich text standard widget in a dashboard, or text email, having as output the string/description of the token? For example, being today February 11, 2025:@Current Year = 2025@Past Quarter @Past year= Q4 2024@Next Month Name = March Mockup Quarter and YearMockup Month and year
As a manager I’d like to follow every customer in my portfolio until they leave. Also, I want the CSMs that will eventually be getting these accounts from my Implementation team to follow them too. Doing this from a rule allows us to set a very helpful mechanism to getting updates in place without having to constantly manage the follows manually.
Hey allToday, we can’t access lookup fields in the People section of R/C360. We can access the GSID value but nothing sitting in the object we lookup to. It’d be beneficial if we could access lookups and display fields from those lookups. In the below screenshot, I can’t. I can just see the lookup value, none of the other fields in the lookup object. Example use case:We sync Community (not Gainsight CC) user data to Gainsight, via Salesforce. This data sits in a specific Community User object to not clutter up my Person related standard objects, mostly because Community users are a subset of Company Persons, and we need to maintain that data “independently”. However, I want to be able to show some data from that Community user object in the People section of R/C360 to know if the user is part of a specific elite group of users. With the inability to lookup that value, I’d have to store it in one of my Person Objects, which is a lot of extra effort for something that shouldn’t require that extra effort. Thanks for considering this enhancement! A
