Product Experience (PX)

In reviewing the PX Analytics options available to me, I don’t see a way to track if a user clicks a link hosted within a KC Bot article. This seems like a gap and is likely something I am  missing. Does anyone have a workaround or guide for this? Thanks!

Hi Team, A suggestion from a customer is to include the locking ability for the filters used in the GS Home. Currently we are using the GS Home, and allowing the CSMs to customize the filters based on their preferences. Is it possible to do so? Under Position in Engagements, surveys, bot, in the Editor there is custom z-index available. what is this for and what value should be added here?

Guide performance isn’t an option. Funnel and Query Builder widgets don’t work, as you can only choose Viewed as Completed as interaction types. Closing the guide also counts as completed, so that metric doesn’t work. 

In the bot, I have a category for all walk-throughs, "Guide me to". Currently all the walk-throughs are showing together as one big list. I want to add sub-categories, so like a mini-menu, like Policies, Account, Admin, etc. and add each type of engagement to it. The reason so it is easy and clear for customers to locate the type of engagement they are looking for. How can I achieve this?  

Hi Gainsight PX Community,I’m designing an engagement where users must: Select checkboxes (e.g., required shifts) from the list below Return to the engagement to click "Next" and proceed with actions based on their selections. Problem: As soon as users click outside the engagement (to interact with checkboxes), the flow breaks or disappears This forces users to restart, creating a poor experience.  Also making the guide end midway, generating no value Questions: Is this a default limitation of PX engagements, or is there a setting to keep the modal open while users interact externally? Are there workarounds? Has anyone successfully built a flow like this?

What action does the cross button X does on the NPS survey. Does it cancel it? If it is cancel, with the setting below will it show again in the next quarter? “Show me later” or snooze uses the same settings? If i want to give users option to snooze for 1, 2 or 3 days, is it possible to show these options?

As a new user, I found this one a bit tricky…My contextI had a guide that I needed to fix and it workshopped the (somewhat “major”) fixes in a clone of the original guide, as I wasn’t quite sure what the fix was going to be and I needed the option to test and iterate without losing the original guide. Once I had the fix identified, I wanted to pause the v1 guide and launch the v2 guide, but exclude those who saw v1 from the audience. The SolutionIt’s neither ideal nor elegant, but the In-App Engagement rules allow you to set rules based on the number of times they {action: completed/viewed} the guide. If you set either or both of those to less than 1, it will exclude those who saw the first one.  

Can someone guide me on where and how to add the px JavaScript to a PX html template so I can launch engagements in education? Thanks in advance.

I have a guide engagement (Hero Dialog) to promote our latest release. It has two buttons:Exit Button Labeled as “Learn more” Closes the guide and opens external URL in a new tab Snooze ButtonWhen I look at the engagement analytics, the Learn More / Exit Button clicks are not counting as a CTA click. But I (along with Gemini) can’t understand how I would define the CTA in the engagement editor. And Gemini tells me an Exit Button should be able to be a CTA. 

Desired experienceI want to offer the snooze option in the footer of my guide I want the other button in the footer to open in a URL in a new tab I want these to be right next to each other, as you see in the templates I want the close button for the guide to close the guideI thought I had this configured for my guide with these settings:Footer Exit button styled to “Learn More” Snooze button Global Action Settings Close guide = close guide Complete = redirect to URL I though the Exit button = completed and would redirect to the URL and the close button would work as a close of the guide.However, it turns out that those settings made it so the X close action in the upper right corner of the guide also redirected to the URL. Can PX help with identifying accounts/companies that have drops in feature usage and flag them as retention risks? Maybe send emails to us when this is detected

Use case 1: Double check my work, especially the URL rule within a UI Element rule. I need to ensure I have wildcards in there, as it pre-populates the current URL when adding the URL and I often miss this step. Use case 2: QA and future proofing. Provide a list of defined selectors that are part of our product mapping. Then, when our QA processes are reviewing new versions of the product, they can catch and alert if a selector no longer exists or other changes that could impact things.

When I created this post about updating the PX User Profile attributes with button links from within a PX Dialog Engagement, I also wanted to share a similar method to create PX Custom Events from within a PX Engagement.  Here are some simple use cases:Simply being able to create PX Custom Events without asking a developer to add our JavaScript snippets into your application source code … good for testing, experimentation, and learning too! I’m using a Default Template >  Hero Image Dialog. When I go to add a new hero image, it places padding bars above and below the image. The gray bars above and below the image are what I want to adjust, specifically I want to at least remove the gray bar below the image. It is something specific to the cell the image lives within. However, Code view of the cell reflects nothing related to this HTML lists only the height and width of the image, not the cell. CSS doesn’t have anything obvious related to this There seem to be no WYSIWG settings The coloring of the padding bars seems to be nowhere to be found It doesn’t matter the size of the image I upload, it adds this padding above and below.  

It’s not clear from the documentation. My guess/hope is userInput? Update: Vote for this idea 

For surveys, there’s an out-of-the-box Snooze feature that I’ve toggled on for our NPS survey. Snooze option in Engagements > Survey > NPS Survey > Editor I can’t find any metrics on usage (and by whom) of this feature within the survey. Analytics > Engagements > Survey Performance shows only Views, Responses, and Response Rate Analytics > Query Builder only gives options for Viewed and Completed as the interaction type. 

NPS is a field that can be mapped from PX to Salesforce Accounts using the SFDC integration:Mapping Account fields, Nps shows as an option, as well as other time-based Nps elements But I don’t see that as an option for Contacts:Mapping for Contact fields. These are listed alphabetically and NPS does not appear as an option. Is this just not possible or do I need to set up something with the integration?
