With the current design of PX, we can have a dashboard widgets created for the In-app Engagements and Surveys to analyse the performance.   But we are missing the email performance here. It would be helpful if we can add the email performance widget as well along with in-app and surveys.   Thanks, Shireesha.

Consider using this Chrome extension over Cyberduck for your projects.  This was developed by one of our engineers, Jithendra, in Bangalore and good to get feedback on ease and suitability of purpose over Cyberduck.  We are looking to confirm as Gainsight Open Source but that is pending confirmation by the review board.  In the meantime, try it out! It would be great to be able to track email opens, clicks, forwards, etc from email sent using the Gmail Plugin like it is possible with email sent directly from Gainsight and Journey Orchestrator.

Hi A lot of our CSMs use BCC to Timeline functionality for all sorts of interactions incl meeting follow up notes and training. Is there any way we can use the BCC but distinguish between face to face interaction and an email - without the need to log into Gainsight directly? It’s critical we can track trainings and f2f meetings accurately, which is currently being skewed since the BCC link logs everything as an email.  I know others are asking for this too but have not found the answer.   Thanks in advance   Katerina   

Our AMs manually enter the AM Assessment scorecard measure for their Customers, and we are pushing hard for this value to be entered for all Customers. At the same time, the AMs spend most of their time on the Cockpit tab, working through CTAs. While updating a CTA, the AMs want to be able to quickly update the AM Assessment, rather than go through several steps to open the C360 and update the scorecard. We'd like scorecard indicator on Cockpit to be enhanced with: Clicking on Health score displays a mini list of all scores           Clicking on a score brings up score edit box                

Hi Everyone, As we all knew, Email Engagements are the one of the major parts in PX. In the Email settings “Header” Section we can choose from which sender we can send the emails. What happens here is we can only select one Sender and from that sender only all the users will receive the Emails. But, there could be scenarios where different users will have different account managers.  So In this situation if we send the email from a sender who is unfortunately not their account manager, there could be huge chances the user will simply consider it as not important, Because he doesn’t know the person from whom he received the mail. We can achieve this problem, If we have a option to select the sender dynamically, i.e, the sender should be selected automatically depending on to which user the mail is going to be sent. HI Team, Currently, we have the refresh button on Global Timeline, but that does not refresh the list of Draft timeline activities? Can we connect that button to the drafts ? Right now, only a browser window refresh ensures both parts of the page are refreshed. Please let me know your thoughts.  Best, Hardik

Maybe you could display something indicating that the customer has opted out, and ask if the email should still be sent? Or provide an unsubscribe option in email assist emails as well?

Hi Everyone, In Px, Currently we deal with lot of Custom event rules as the Audience criteria. For these Custom events we can add the properties as well. Like the below image,   As we can see in the above image, while using the custom events, we can have the properties like Event occurred and Times Occurred. But we have a limitation of not having the “Did not occur” property. There could be some use cases for all of us where we need to have a use case like “Custom event did not trigger/occur in last 1 day”. Just like the Occurring property it would be really helpful if we have did not occur property as well. Again, We can solve the most of the Use cases by setting up the logics we have, But it is like we have to go through more than 2-3 logics to achieve a single logic. Which is not efficient way. This “did not occur” property we can use for Product mapper Rules as well.   NOTE: This Custom event properties are not applicable for In-Apps. It would be really helpful if we can ha

With Gainsight current design we only have limited data displayed in EE, User who login in Gainsight CS data is captured through Identify call and will be stored in Gainsight PX and through Gainsight PX limited data will be synced and displayed in PX Enablement engine. It would be really helpful for the customers if we can populate/ingest the data through the code change to display it on EE.  

We have noticed that despite driving a lot of traffic to a single event, we don’t get a lot of organic sign-ups for other events we’ve listed. See example below - nearly 300 people registered for first event, but only 4 for the next one.      To solve this, how about adding a panel to the bottom right of the screenshot below (the actual events page) that shows other events that the viewer might be interested in? This way someone could navigate from one event to the next without having to return to the main Events list.    

Hi Team,    I’m submitting this request on behalf of my customer. In the email assist assit task, When we check "Add Reply-To in BCC checkbox " and CC ourselves, we are receiving email copy only for the first recipient. This is the current limitation which is not allowing multiple copies with both CC and Reply-To.   Best, Hardik

In JO Email templates, it displays the number of Programs the template is used in. It would be ideal if this also counted where the templates are being used in Email Assist as well. With so many templates and email assist tasks, it is hard to clean up old templates when you cannot quickly see if they are currently being used anywhere.     

I add this as a comment on a different community post but figured I should post it as its own. We use the Related Contacts function in Salesforce, which provides the Account Contact Relationship junction object to map a single contact record on the Contact object to multiple accounts.   In our use case, one contact might be a Key Contact on one account, but the primary Decision Maker on another account.  We use the Account Contact Relationship object to map that person to the second account (indirectly) where the contact type is set differently (on the ACR object). Email Assist does not allow us to add contacts to an email unless they are directly associated to that Account via the Contact object. Product suggested enabling Associate Contacts and removing the Account ID filter so that CSMs could select the appropriate contact(s) to whom to send the email in the task.  That leaves much room for error (someone accidentally selecting the wrong person from an en

I’m wondering if Gainsight could/has any plans to produce benchmark reports - specifically around email metrics? A lot of times when we report metrics to stakeholders, they ask how it compares to the industry standard but most benchmark reports generated from Eloqua/Hubspot/Sendgrid etc are predominantly prospect metrics, which isn’t an equatable baseline.    If not by Gainsight, does anyone know of any thought-leadership that provides customer-specific email benchmark reports?

When trying to assign a layout to users we found that many usecases or just the ability to change the “default” is not possible when assigning.    We would like the ability to assign the c360 layouts based on permission groups to ease with assigning c360 layouts to large groups.

Please add the ability to bulk or mass edit Company Hierarchy in Gainsight NXT. The current product only allows you to establish parent-child hierarchies for Companies one-by-one in Data Operations, which is not a viable solution when dealing with over 10k companies.  An ideal solution would be to surface the Parent/Child company fields in the Company object & allow edits via the Rule Engine.   

 Within a JO program, you have the ability to download a list of participants who ran through the program. However, there is not an option to filter by sent date. I would like to request the ability to add sent date as an option within the downloaded participant listMy feature request is to either add a downloadable participant list from JO Analytics, or add date fields within a program’s participant list (this is currently available to download, but does not include date fields).

One of the pain points our team recently expressed is the requirement to click on each individual CTA to close it. What would be better is if the team could click through all the boxes at once and then apply an action, whether it’s Mark Closed Success, Mark Closed No Action, or something else, all at once. Currently, a user has to click on the CTA in Cockpit and then answer a dialog prompt asking “Should we change the status of all open tasks to Closed for you?” Why would the user be clicking on the box if that is not the original intent? Making the UI more user-friendly would greatly help our Onboarding Managers and CSMs who carry heavy account loads and would reduce the need to supplement with outside PM tools to accomplish the same. 

Activity types for Timeline have an “Active” checkbox but Success Plan types and objectives don’t have that checkbox, so if I want to disable something in the dropdown, I have to delete it. However, if any plans are using that selection, they are now dependencies and need to be deleted. I want to be able to just deactivate a type or objective category without needing to delete previously created success plans. 

Currently to preview emails there is only a dropdown based on the participant’s email address. It would be helpful if there was an Account dropdown we could select first and then choose a specific participant’s email address.

Currently with the GS Timeline → SF sync you can create either Events or Tasks in SF and this applies to all activity types.    We would like to be able to specify per activity type which type it would create. I’d see this working by moving the option to choose within the UI to the table view so it can done on a case by case.      There are some required fields for events in SF (like duration) which don’t apply to some timeline entries, and currently we have to force entry of a number in this field to make it sync.     

Would like the functionality to enable SF events created via the Activity Sync from GS to write-back to the original timeline entry with updated information.    Use case: Our clients purchase professional service hours by way of an order form on SF (added as product line item).  Once a session has been delivered the CSM logs this via the Timeline as an activity, and then we push that activity, via the Activity Sync, to SF as events.  We then run a fulfilment logic on the created event to remove the provided number of hours from the clients’ available figure (if they have any).  When this logic happens we update the event (in SF) to state whether it has been fulfilled or not, and how many hours we took for it (for example a 90 minute session would take 2 hours).  This additional information only sits within SF but ideally any updates to the event/task in SF would then update the relevant timeline entry in GS. This would allow us to provide reporting in GS on how many that were supposed
