It would be very helpful for testing stages to have a run button on the front page of S3. When you are testing and loading numerous files over and over in a short period of time, the post file upload doesn't always run right away. ( I believe this is due to the suggestion to only run 5 post file uploads per day?).   If we could get a run button instead of having to go through the mapping pages, it would speed things up.

The Data Management page has a variety of metadata available around the MDA objects; however, it seems to lack size.  I know I'm using N GB of data; however, I have no way to determine amongst which MDA objects it's currently distributed (so I can't prune in a meaningful manner)

Posting on behalf of a customer, but I think this is a good idea as well. Currently when an OAuth is made inactive, Gainsight data query processes cease such as rules engine and copilot power lists. If an organization did not have knowledge of this as soon as that happens, many important data processes do not run and gaps in analytics gets noticed to late in the game. It be nice to send an email to an assigned point of contact, along with some steps to fix the matter.

Hi Team, When users are trying to delete data through Data Operations from Comapny/Relationship objects, it is taking time some time based on the number of records to be deleted and the dependencies on them. But some times it is taking more time to delete if there is huge volume and users are unable to determine when the operation will be completed. So they are requesting to show ETA to complete the process before they start the deletion, so they can have an idea on this and plan accordingly. Thanks, Prathap

Currently we have below limitations in update/upsert operation 1) In S3, we can select only 5 keys as identifiers 2) In Rules, we can select only 3 fields as key identifiers per data type. To overcome these limitations, we can have MD5 option to generate unique 32 bit character string. MD5 takes fields(should be concatenated as a string) as input and it gives unique 32 bit string. This field can be used in update/upsert operations. There is no limitation of number of fields to be used in MD5. We can select any field with any data type in MD5. Moreover, performance will be good if we use one key while updating table instead of having condition on more than one key.

Quality of Life enhancement: for the transform task in a bionic set up (JO or Rules), if you drop a field into the GroupBy section, it will change all fields to an aggregate. However, I constantly drop a field in there on accident, thinking its the Filter section (muscle memory from rule building). This means that I have to remove the field, which changes that field back to non-aggregated data point. But all others remain aggregated. I don't know that I care which of these happens, or if there are better suggestions, but my thoughts are: Pop an alert box that says "are you sure you want to drop something here?"; it could get annoying, but it will save me time nonetheless IF I remove all fields from the GroupBy section, reset all fields in the Show Me back to a non-aggregated data point

We recently migrated to Surveys 2.0, and while the analytics are improved, there is some pretty vital data we would love to see included as a column(s) under the Survey Statistics Total Users table and Response Report detailed view. Specifically, we'd like the ability from Survey Statistics to add a column that includes a response from one of the survey questions. In our case, this would be how satisfied they are...that would allow us to short by satisfaction and at a glance see users with the same response without filtering to show just one response at a time. We'd like to see this option included for the individual detail reports in the Response Report section and also the ability to add the PSM's name (this is accessible as a filter, but again, to see it as part of the detail view would help us to idenify response trends based on PSM without filtering to each one individually). Within the SF object Survey Participant, Advanced Outreach Participant ID is a text field instead of an ID.  I was working with a customer who was trying to join Participant ID from AO participants(Number,MDA) to Advanced Outreach Participant ID(text,SFDC). This is preventing a join between the two fields within rules. The only workaround we can think of is - Create a Number field in Survey Participant object - Populate all the data from AO participant ID (Text field in Survey participant) into this Number field - Use this Number field in the Rules to map with the other Number field from AO Participants object This would need to be done via some sort of SF process and not the rules engine.

As an administrator, it would be nice to have this value autopopulated once a successful value is confirmed for your organizations return email sub-domain. Not highpriority, but this may save a step and some headache/troubleshooting cycles and may be expected behavior by "some" people

Right now, if a churn transaction is added to a customer record, you cannot add subsequent transactions because the customer is no longer Active. This is plenty sensible, but it doesn't factor for "boomerang" customers who churn and the return as active customers or customers that purchase multiple products and churns from one and not others. To add subsequent transactions today, you have to change the churn transaction to something like "Renewal with downsell; $0 opportunity", and then you can add a New Business transaction to track the new subscription.  This solution works ok, but it would be more intuitive to be able to add transactions subsequent to churn transactions that would reactivate churned customers.

It looks like we have all the same filters in mobile as we do on desktop...except for being able to filter on Activity Date, which happens to be the filter I use most often. Are there plans to make this available?

I noticed we now have a button to migrate email templates from 1.0 to 2.0 which is exciting. An old feature we have appreciated is the count of how many variants each email has and how many outreaches it is being used in. Can we also have the count of advanced outreaches and email assist tasks that are using the template?

To more broadly support mobile use cases, Sally should be able to be configured to work in SMS and other messaging apps. This would allow companies not in Slack to be able to quickly get account information on the go without digging into the full GS app on mobile or desktop.

I really like the new feature in Rules Engine action to auto link a record to the CTA. One enhancement I see is the ability to use the record ID as a possible identifier when running the rule, just like we have CTA name. This would add flexibility in situations where you may not want to tokenize the ID or name in the CTA name to make it unique. The linked record ID could add a 'behind the scenes' unique key. Today, it looks like the action ignored this field when the CTAs are upserted upon rule runs, similar to the playbook.

This is a request that has come directly from a group of our Customer Success Managers. They know they can sort their cockpit by CTA Type, but often find other views more helpful on a daily basis. That said, they would still like a way to visually identify which CTA Type their CTAs fall in, even with different grouping. Their idea was to color code these CTAs in the cockpit view. I know we already assign a color to each CTA Type in admin, but I believe these colors are only currently used for reporting.

For a community supporting multiple countries, having the country of the user displayed next to the username is a must! Country of the user is important not only for moderators/community managers but also for users. This information allows users to have a better understanding of issues/ideas being posted. Apart from that, it is nice to know each other’s country!

Hi all, I have a idea for the homepage, don't know if anybody already wrote something about it. (havent been on the forum for a while, sorry (A).) I just added the 'Quick links' function. Wich is realy nice by the way. And now i have Quick links AND featured_home topics. In my quick links i have the most asked Questions, to reduce calls en new topics. and in my featured topics i have blogs and articles. But because both dont have a title on the homepage, such as 'recommended' has, de difference don't look so clear. Could the be added? (and maybe also a 'read more' optional button?)

Since filters are persistent in Gainsight it would be helpful to see whether filters are applied or not. This could be done by coloring the filter button or displaying a checkmark next to it or similar means.

Can we have make some minor tweaks with respect to Survey 2.0 UI i.e. can we add save buttons after each configuration page. Also in the main home page of survey 2.0 can we add edit button so as to make any edits in survey currently we need to double click in order to make any edits

In surveys it would be a great option to allow a participant to respond to a question by clicking on an image that has been provided in a multiple choice of images. When will we be able to support Arabic and Hebrew in surveys?

There are times when our CSMs accidentally log a timeline activity with the wrong activity type. Instead of being able to edit it, they have to create a whole new activity, add all the relevant contacts in, and copy/paste the content. Any way that this ability could be added?

Much like this request here, it would be useful for my customers to be able to add External Attendees from any/all accounts to Timeline Activities. The use case is that they have many consultants and partners that will join client meetings, and it definitely does not make sense to add thoes as duplicate contacts to each client account.

In addition to syncing tasks at the Account level, it would be helpful to be able to sync them at the Contact level. This way they would be visible on the contact record in SFDC.

We do frequent Salesforce sandbox refreshes and with refreshes we needed to reconfigure rules/report which are based on MDA Object. With this idea - i am proposing some automation to replicate configurations from production into sandbox once sandbox is refreshed.
