Currently in order to add a CTA to the Relationship 360, the user must have permissions to view the C360 in order to link the CTA appropriately to the Company and Relationship. If I have full permissions to access the R360 I should be able to create the CTA and save without having permissions to the C360 as well. We have CSMs who manage only at the relationship for a specific business unit and shouldn’t access the details at the C360. Along these same lines, I am able to create a timeline activity at the R360 without permissions to the C360 but I can’t actually view the timeline activities I created in the R360 without permissions to the C360. If I have permissions at the R360 to add an activity I should be able to see these activities without having permissions to the C360.

I am setting up a handful of rules to export data daily from Gainsight to S3, where our team is going to pull the data to ingest into our DWH. The rules are creating tsv files in S3. We want to enable archiving for these rules such that if the rule ran today and created a file with today’s datetime stamp, it would save in our DWH folder, and a file with the same nomenclature from the same rule with an earlier datetime stamp (aka yesterday’s datetime stamp) would automatically archive. For our DWH, we wanted to be able to archive old files upon creation of new files to have a better audit trail in the event rules fail.

As Features grow, and more so for multi-product SAAS companies, the Product Area filter list would need some visual aiding (like categories maybe), grouping Product Areas under themes, or even different product names.One long list of serially listing all areas would make it not-so-usable.Interested in hearing how would others visualize implementing this solution?

Our users are requesting an undo button like that is available in many SaaS applications.  The editing in Success Plans and other areas is very difficult and if you make a mistake you typically need to completely delete and readd, which is very frustrating, instead of undo. 

Our aim is to drive all customer communication through Gainsight. By this we have a complete track of interaction in timeline. Unfortunately there is no integration with Reachdesk available. Can this be added to the roadmap please. 

Hi Team,Client ( PTC ) want to display company name in people section of C360 layout.Currently only Company Id is only provided and the lookup is not enabled for any of the fields in C360 configuration for the people section.Please look into this requirement and enable the same.

Hi, We would like to have the capability to make certain objectives non-deletable by users from a template.  Some date changes and additions should be allowed, but not delete.

Looking specifically at the use case of an onboarding guide type of engagement launched from the KC BOT:In keeping with the suggestions around “keeping engagements limited to as few steps as possible,” i’d like to eliminate our “splash” screen on engagements.   Basically, all of our engagements start with a “splash screen” that says this is what you’re going to do and click “Next” to get started.   The “Next” button redirects the user to the specific URL where they’ll start the next step of the engagement.I feel like this is redundant → the user has already made the choice to start the onboarding workflow, so I’d like to have them automatically redirected to the page where they can begin the *real*/actionable step 1 of the guide (i.e. “click on this specific UI element”) and not have to delay them with the splash screen whose main purpose is the button with the URL redirect.Has anyone found a way to do this?

Team,Can we think of GS and Google Drive integration as one of the process improvements for end users? Use case:Log google slides document into a GS timeline activity but gslides isn't an approved file type so the end user have to download to ppt or pdf in order to include it. 

We’d like to be able to add more granularity to the frequency of notifications.  We use @mentions in the Timeline activities a lot, so we’d like to be able to indicate that we want those real-time or daily but everything else weekly.

When our users are selecting their account they get both the Customer and Relationship level choices using Gainsight Assist.  Is it possible for the Relationship customers to hide the Customer choice when using Gainsight Assist and posting back to timeline?

Likes Received is another nice KPI for member’s personal branding (enduser) along side the other KPIs in the screenshot Having said that, could someone tell me what is the ‘Refresh rate’ of the ‘Most liked contributions’ leaderboard? My guess would be weekly, like the standard leaderboard?So the second idea would be to...Offer ‘Weekly’ and ‘All Time’ views to this leaderboard as well.  

Timeline note templates are now specific to timeline types, but shared between all Relationship types. I would be very useful to assign note templates to a specific Relationship type only, so you can have different hand-over templates for each product, for example

This idea is related to the filter operators on user overview: Scenario: You want to create a segment to track how community members from your company’s Tier Y Accounts are participating in the community. You would like to go to User Overview, then filter by email, and then use AND and OR to include several Accounts in one segment. What happens: While on the email filter, you are able to include AND and OR to pull several Accounts at once. You can search for members whose email ends with pink or yellow or red. 

A page version of this idea:   Similar to the pre-defined/out-of-the-box search pages for recently active, active since last visit, and unanswered questions. /search/activity/recent/search/activity/sincelastvisit/search/activity/unansweredIt’d be a feed of topics including: Posts authored by people you follow Posts replied to by people you followAnd ideally…Categories/groups you subscribe to.  TBH, this is the UX that most users expect from a feed based on dominant social platforms. Rather than try to recreate that, change the feed strategy, etc … this gives users the option to view the latest content that way. Combined with the other idea above, it’d make the Follow action much more valuable and promote user-to-user relationships. It’s much better than the alternative of having to navigate to the profile of each user you follow. 

It would be super helpful to be able to see what CTAs are leveraging a certain playbook. Right now unless everyone on the team is on par with being consistent with how CTAs are named and Playbooks are named, its a lot of clicks to see what is associated with what. For example, when you click on the ellipses on the right of the Playbook, there’s an option in the dropdown to see any items leveraging the Playbook- what CTAs, what Programs, Success Plans. 

CSMs would like the ability to bulk import new contacts in the R360 Person section.After meeting with a client, they may need to add 4 or more new stakeholders. Entering these 1-by-1 takes a lot of time. If there are potential matches already, Gainsight could walk you through each potential match to avoid duplicating a 'person'

This is a small formatting request! We send a monthly usage email to our customers, similar to the usage highlights report that Gainsight sends each month.Within the email there is a list of users that haven’t logged in within a certain timeframe, along with their last login date. I’d love to be able to update the format of this date field for the EMEA or APAC recipients so that format makes sense to them.

I’m admittedly out of my depth here and not quite sure how much Insided’s white labeling of Algolia can be tinkered with. But I also believe it was confirmed for me that Insided search prioritizes some types of content (articles) over questions and conversations, so maybe that means there are settings than can be done…IF Insided can prioritize some types of content in the search, I’d like to see a toggle on topic moderation that allows Community Managers to weight a topic with more significant importance and higher priority for searches matching Public Tags or keywords. Use cases: Prioritizing FAQs  Deflecting unnecessary duplicate questionsMy use case / inspiration: We see a lot of questions answered with references to previous questions. From user interviews, I think many people are using the recommended topics, but a lot are still sneaking through. While I can/will put those together into an FAQ article or resource, it’d be great if I could also bump them up the priority list in sea

Hi Team,Currently, when importing records from snowflake, as per current design we are treating them as UTC and converting these date field records to org’s timezone. For example, NTZ record would be shown as -8 (UTC-8) in the case of org in PST. If can provide an option for the user to select which timezone we need to consider when importing them to GS, it is possible to overcome this behaviour.

Hi team,Had a CSM show me something today in Salesforce that I wanted to raise here. When creating a Timeline activity in Gainsight through Salesforce, the Activity Type is defaulted to “Update.” When the CSM changes the type, even if they do this before entering any data into any of the other fields, they get a dialog box warning them that whatever information they’ve entered will be lost if they change the type.We agreed this makes sense if someone has started entering data already, but if they haven’t, it feels like an extra click. Curious if this is intentional or if it’s something on the roadmap to be fixed?Thanks!
