Posting on behalf of a customer. They were trying to create a rule to load to relationship type and were unable to map the fields as each type has different fields depending on the data needed. It would great to be able to use rules engine to load to relationship for this case. If this is already possible, please update in the comments.

X-ORG Fails with no error message.There was an incident where X-org Migration took place and 5 reports failed to migrate. However, there was no error indicating the reason for error. we had to look from the Sumo logs to see the reasons for those 5 failed incidents. It would be great if we can make sure that the reason for failure is not missed in the error logs. Request for improvement in the error logs. 

Hi Team,Customer want to restrict the add button for the custom objects in the related list on c360. and add the ability to control this feature per related list.

This idea is related to the Horizon Analytics ideas posted here, but I think it deserves its own post. I’d like to see the ability to insert tokens in Rich Text boxes. For example, our business has a need for something called an “Executive Briefing Document,” which is kind of a C360 on steroids that execs can access from a dashboard. The idea is that they can filter down to a single customer. What I’d like to be able to do is insert a token that would contain that customer’s name once it’s filtered. Here’s a mockup:  

Hi,Our CSMs have been receiving email notifications for every timeline activity that they log. This creates a lot of noise for them in their inbox and they want an option to stop the notifications. I’d like to request a setting in GS to turn off email notifications for timeline activities that they log.

In the content filters I’d love to have some options to be able to identify who published the content (by role(s). For example:show me all content with no replies in the last 24 hours created by registered users show me all content with a tag of XXXX that’s was published by super users

When logged in and viewing a post or reply, there’s a … option that includes “Link to URL.” My assumption was that selecting this would copy the direct URL of the post or reply to my clipboard, to facilitate easier sharing (e.g., in a separate but related discussion in the Community, in a Support conversation, internally via Slack, etc.). However, after reaching out to inSided Support, it sounds like the expected behavior for this button is to just update the URL bar with the direct link to the post or reply. I’d find it helpful to have that button actually copy the direct link to your clipboard, to save an extra steps of selecting the URL and copying it (not sure what use case(s) there are for only updating the URL bar in your current session, doesn’t seem very helpful).Related requests (may need to be split out as separate ideas):Exposing this option to non-logged in users would be helpful too, enabling easier sharing of specific posts/replies Would be great to have a 🔗option when y

It would be really helpful to report on those search queries that come back with zero results. That way we'd be able to create the content that our users are searching for in addition to keeping track of what is trending in our community. Being able to export this via a .csv would be great too.

While setting score manually to a measure can we mandate the user to add an activity. This helps others and CS Management to better understand why the particular measure is in Red. 

We have multiple sandbox instances, and in the Sandbox Management screen, the naming conventions applied are not easy to decipher.  For example, our two sandboxes are titled:Workday_NXT_Production_Sandbox_25238282882Workday_NXT_Production_Sandbox_2It would be incredibly useful for Super Admins to have the ability to rename the Sandbox instances to something logical. Thanks!

We would like to have the ability to change the relationship on a success plan after it is created

I like the timeline view to look at meetings and updates for a client. I would also like to be able to associate these with tasks. Often, a task is dependent on hearing from the client or something. Or a task might be a meeting and it would be nice to associate the meeting minutes with it. 

You can mark a Rule as Inactive. You can mark a Playbook as Inactive. However, you can’t mark a Playbook as Inactive if a rule exists that uses the Playbook, even if that Rule is Inactive.I don’t want to delete the rule because I want it for historic record keeping, and I don’t want to delete the playbook because I want it for historic reporting. But I can’t mark it Inactive unless I delete the rule it’s associated with.It would be nice if I could mark a playbook as Inactive if the rule it was associated with is also Inactive.

I’d love to have a way to remove all users from a group. In our case we use them for beta programs and at the end of a beta we award badges, then remove all folks from the group, and retain the group and content should we need to go back to it later.Right now you have to remove each group member individually, and also confirm their removal each time which is time consuming. Should be able to select multiple/all and remove

Currently Duration (in min) is stored as a number.  This number on an individual timeline basis may be fine, although when trying to sum up or count hours spent against a given client, or by CSM over last 7 days, Month, etc… # of Minutes quickly becomes a meaningless number. For reporting on a dashboard, we were able to create a widget that SUM the “Total Hours” (Duration in MIN / 60, 2 decimal places).  However, when drilling into the formula field, there is no setting to specify how many decimals a formula field should have in a drill down report.   The widget looks like this - Summary of “Total Hours”​​​​​This is what the drill down looks like.  Total Hours has no decimals and rounded to 1 or 0. Two possible fixes:Ability to summarize a field into Hours/Minutes (not just by Thousands, Millions, etc.).  In this way the Summary widget could be built off the sum of duration in minutes, then the drill down report would also use the same field (thus negating the need of a formula field)

We would like to restrict guest users from sending private messages to others to prevent spam messages. Right now you can only disable private messaging for everyone, it is not role-based restriction.

Best answers are the ultimate behaviour to encourage and reward within the community as most people will easily ask questions, but less wilfully spend time trying to answer someone else’s problem.Ranks and Badges can incentivise this but I find the email that notifies the author of an answer that it was marked as the best is incredibly dull and unrewarding, almost seems like an error, since it is the same email as anyone subscribed to the question: Please note that I am not highlighting the design change but the message change when addressed to the author of the best answer, in order to reward the behaviour. 

Our CSMs and AEs have requested ability to add attachment(s) - more than 1 in the plan info page of the success plan. This is a feature that exists in other areas (timeline and CTA), but not on the plan info page of success plans and would be helpful as it is the cover sheet of a success plan where artifacts that are finalized and locked for review can be referenced. While there is an ability hyperlink documents, this still presents challenges, as the user attempting to review the artifact may not have access to that folder/URL. Additionally sometimes deliverables are finalized and should not be editable and so an attachment may serve best per AE/CSM feedback. additionally this is a feature available in most areas of GS except SP. attaching to the objective CTA is a workaround but does not fit the business need for this feature as an artifact may not be specific to 1 objective but related to the entire plan and should be attached at the highest level. 

Hello!Currently I have a lot of notes of customers stored on my database. This notes are shown to our CSMs on an Intranet and we want to make their life easier and transfer these notes from Gainsight Timeline, so they will use only one tool.Theres a roadmap to develop this feature ?Thanks a lot!

Hi Team, Customer has shared the following update and requested us to log it on community. Please check the feasibility of the request and share your insights. If possible, could you please submit a request to GS to improve the UI for the Comments box? Ideally, like when you log a call, it should expand to make it bigger. It’s challenging to type in and even more so when you scroll down and up and even more so if you’re using a laptop ☹ And the other thing is that you can copy info from outside and past it here in theory but….when you save it, it looks funky because the lines break. So you can only type things but you cannot really copy and paste and save time.  

I’d like to have the option to sort unanswered questions by newest and oldest so that members in our community could easily locate questions in need of answers. 

Hello Team, We have a case, when we create a custom field in the company object with GS ID data type and enabled self lookup, then we are unable to get an expanded + option of that field when used in Rules engine query builder where as it can be expanded in report builder.I was able to replicate the issue in our demo instance as well.But another thing what I observed is that, if we ignore enabling self lookup option and just enable lookup and map the same company object with GSID field, the we are able to expand the field in rules engine.

The dropdown tab on any related list tab in C360 does not adjust according to the report name length which makes it difficult for users to identify report name from dropdown itself. Would be useful to add a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the dropdown.
