The past two days we have experienced 2 and 3 hour delays with Outreach schedule.  This causes our Outreaches to run into downstream related Rules that are based on email logs.  Two suggestions: 1.) It would be great if the Gainsight status page could be updated if an queues are delayed more than 1 hour. 2.) It also would be great if we could manually pause all Gainsight Rules.  This way we could wait for all emails to be sent.  Note that there is already another post to allow for dependent scheduling between Outreaches and Rules.

I was sad to see that Pivot tasks are not available in Advanced Outreach's Bionic Query Builder. There are several text fields that I want to concatenate together, and a Pivot task would make it easier (per the comments on this post). Is there a reason that it was left out?

I've been hearing multiple use cases / suggestions around being able to import the data file from S3 into Bionic Rules.  1) Eliminate the need for setting up S3 jobs and then running the rule separately and potentially avoid 24 hours of delay before data is processed and available for consumption. 2) Loading data to SFDC directly without needing to store in MDA as a staging area 3) Without having to think about missing schedules. With Bionic Rules, reading the data from S3 and processing can be one rule. 4) Avoid storing unwanted data. Dimensionality reduction, filtering the bad quality records, applying the transformations. 5) Merging multiple files into one data set before loading.  What are the other supporting use cases that you can think of?

Currently, in order to add attendees to an activity from the Timeline, a user has to click into the search box, type to search for the contact, click to select the contact, and then click again to re-enter the search box. It would be great if after a contact is selected, the cursor would be placed back into the search box and they could just begin typing the next attendee's name.

I think it would be a better UX if users could type enter after searching for an attendee. Not a huge deal but having to type a name, then click the name to add it is just one extra step vs. typing enter without leaving the keyboard.

I have noticed something that have been tripping up up some customers that I'd like to open up some talks on a feature enhancement. When using a power list to load participants, say you load one participant into the AO and then some of the data changes that you are bringing in, for example the CSM field. Even if you refresh the power list and re run the sync it will not update the participant record in AO participants. The only way to get the new data is to "Clear Participants" and then re run the sync. Since the record already exists due to the uniqueness criteria it will basically skip the update. I'd like open up the discussion to see if this is what admins would like to change. At least, I think this should be made more clear in the product. Another thing I'd like to see more visible is that the participant sync will not remove contacts if the power list is no longer bringing in a contact.  Example - Power list contains

When creating performance coaching agendas or logging emails and adding external users in the timeline activity it's rather tedious to add users to Timeline Activities.  Currently, you have to search with a keyboard, then select the option with the mouse. It would be nice if the name could be selected by using Enter or arrow keys-enter right from the keyboard. What is the existing workflow? Search for a name, wait for the options to pop-up, then select with a mouse. Moving from keyboard to mouse for every name isn't efficient.

Apparently once you create an S3 Dataset task, load the column details, and save it - you cannot edit it. So if you realize you failed to include a column in the file you are attempting to import, you have to delete the dataset task and create a new one - unless I'm missing something key? Sure would be easier if I could edit the existing one, re-load the column details and re-save.

The addition of being able to see which participants failed to be added to a program is great  It would be great if you could report on them. In the use case I saw, the customer wanted to be able to report on any that didn't get added to a program due to being on the blacklist.

When cloning rules, I would like the cloned rule to maintain the state of the rule being cloned. I feel there are extra unnecessary steps when I clone a rule to find it under the inactive rules, set it to active, then update the rule to test and set live.

In Salesforce there was an option to load attachments and relate them to Opportunities or to an Account but It will be displayed at account level (even that are related to opportunities). Salesforce has made this as a custom built so if an attachment is linked to opportunity are also displayed in that Account (that is related to that opportunity) But if we load this into Gainsight and when we try to built this as an report and link it to C360 in Gainsight, the attachments that are only linked to accounts were displayed but not that are linked to opportunities. Can we make this an enhancement where we can display the attachments of opportunities also  in the account level i.e, in C360 page (similar to Salesforce functionality).

My client thought it might be better UI if the "validate email" button within Email assist task was located towards the top of the page instead of at the bottom!? 

Hi  Currently whilst I am creating the slides within Success Snapshot I am unable to preview the slides to see if it fits or looks right.  I have to enable it to show on the C360, Drill in an account, export it and once emailed to my inbox can I preview what I created and if it does not look right go to the whole process again.  Is there something I am missing here? I would like to see what I am creating before having this available to the CSMs to export before its fully created. Is this an idea/problem? Thanks Naquiyah Cash

It would be ideal to be able to add advanced filter logic to merge criteria when merging two datasets in bionic rules. This would allow us to reference two fields where the identifier could be present to merge the data on. Currently, we have to perform to separate merges for each criteria and then merge the reports together a third time to create a final dataset. 

It would be great if the composer respected indented text in code samples in the BBCode. Any leading whitespace is removed, which makes a JSON code sample kind of useless, for example. Thanks!

In Journey Orchestrator we have the ability to see the open rates for each outreach/program that's sent. Currently, we don't have a way to see the open rates for CTA email assist tasks.  We can see the individual opens for each individual email, but we don't have a collective view of all email assists and the open rate. It would be awesome if we could have the collective open rate stored somewhere for email assist tasks so that customers can see how effective these tasks are with their customers.

Would it be possible to add the ability to modify the uniqueness criteria after a program is published? At the very least it would be beneficial to be able add additional criteria.

My client is trying to create a report that only shows the last activity logged in the timeline per each customer. We were hoping to be able to create a new field and populate it with a rule to flag the last activity for each customer, however, the rules engine can't write to Activity Timeline fields.

Right now, if a user creates a Task from a Timeline Activity Entry - the Type defaults to Activity.  It would be awesome if we had the ability to change this!  This way the proper reasons could be displayed and associated with the correct Type.  (Of course the user can create a CTA and accomplish this - but a lot of our users like posting in the Timeline and reviewing items in there.  So adding the additional feature of being able to change the associated type from a task created in the Timeline, would be amazing!)

I'm trying to load in CTAs that should have been created in the past, since they're based on the customer's contract dates. So, I'm using the rule that is running daily now to create these CTAs, and am running it for a historical date. However, the rule setup is querying for customers based on the [i]rule run date, but the CTA due date is set based on [i]today's date, not based on the [i]rule run date. For example, we create the renewal CTA 120 days before the contract end date. If I run the rule for Oct 3 2015, it should create the renewal CTAs for customers whose contracts are set to end on Jan 31 2016 (120 days later), and it should set their due dates to Jan 31. However, instead it: Finds the customers who, on Oct 3, were 120 days before their contract end date. (So, it finds the correct customers.) Creates a CTA and sets its due date 120 days ahead of [i]today.This is aggravating. I'm going to have to create all

At the moment we can't customize the administration chevron but it would be nice (in the future) to be able to put your most used modules up top or in any particular order without having to search for them.

Similar to my idea at https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/scorecards-help-text-cheat-sheet But basically, instead of having a cheat sheet, you could add a second comments box.  The first one gets updated by the admin, through the rules, and says whatever they want it to say (tokenize fields, standard text, etc).  The second one allows the user to add comments that wouldn't get overwritten each time the rule runs. Thoughts??

I would like to get insights in how often notification e-mails are opened (by different ranks users) and how often users used the hyperlinks to the Community for the following reasons: - In this case we could state how successful notifications are. - Do users feel motivated to use the Community by these notifications? - If there is a change in the design or content of the notification, what is the effect? I tried to add some Google Analytics tags, but not all the notification links are trackable, since they have a unique URL (like best answer, PM, mentioned). Do you have an idea how to get this data or is it possible to integrate this data into the InSided backend?

When a customer changes the notes on a scorecard the last modified date does not reflect this change.  We understand that this last modified date only reflects when a score is changed.  We have a use case the users are updating notes, but the score stays the same and is causing issues in reporting because the last modified date is only showing when the score is changed.
