Sometimes it's nice to communicate an easy url to your customers. Like http://www.company.com/business. Unfortunately Insided creates urls like http://www.company.com/business-786. Idea: a way to easily change the url of a category. (as you can see I've added some ideas which in my opinion are the basics of the backend of a community platform, this is one of them)

At this moment I can't: change a topic to an article let an employee create an article (without messing with user rights) I would like to be able to do both.

In the backend you can choose a color for a button. I'd like to upload a gif, so I can apply to the branding guidelines.

If you add a poll, it will be added at the bottom of the post. I would like to have the possibility to change the location of the poll.

Something that I've created and found to be useful is a schedule matrix for all recurring rules and uploads.  This way, I am able to know when I have a lot of rules scheduled and when the system has some 'free time' where nothing is running.  It also allows me to make sure I upload any relevant data before any rule that might use said data triggers. It would be valuable to me to be able to download a similar list or matrix of all of my recurring rules.  The current snapshot does not include bionic rules, so it can't be used to fully 'inventory' all of our rules. 

We are using a Gainsight report that has three different picklist fields as filters. In order to not have to manually update this report every time a picklist option changes in Salesforce, it would be more efficient to have a Gainsight Report filter functionality that can exclude NULL values (rather than having to say 'Contains *manually select all picklist values*'.

As we do-not have a way to merge various data sources into a report we tried to create a rule and it would upsert the MDA on every run and then the report is built out of MDA It would be great if we could have reports like we have rules.  If not it would be great if there would be an action which would truncate the table which would enable the report to have fresh pull. Or if not anything the ability to add a new dynamic field which would act as load date. 

A few things here that would be great.... User Story would be that our CSM would keep the Global timeline tab open throughout their work day and do the following.  We are looking at using Global Timeline for time tracking and would like to see a few summary widgets on the side or top that allows me to see how much total time spent and with what activities for the entire customer base and for my filtered searches. Need to have Gainsight be smart enough to notice who the CSM is and default that Global Timeline view to their accounts only (like cockpit does and allow saving different filter configurations) Need to have the ability to add an activity for any customer at the Global Timeline level Need to have the attachments for each activity sync back to SF acitivities. 

In our branded header, we use an image font. It is attached via CSS, the definition starts with "@font-face{font-family:..". The problem starts, when we try to upload the CSS file to the INSIDED server. The server adds .ssi in front of each definition, which produces: ".ssi @font-face{font-family:..." I would much appreciate if the system didn't do that, or at least stopped to add this before @font definitions.

It would be nice to have the ability to erase the existing scores from scorecard. Reason: Wrong scores posted or model changed or incorrect customer mapping.

Please, add a possibility to set the ban rules, for example. 10 days, 1 month, etc. with automatic recovery from the ban.

While onsite with Micro Focus they requested the functionality to move CTAs/Risks from the old CSM to the new CSM when there is a reassignment

We would like a way to track how much active ACV and # of users we have month over month? We'd like to see how our ACV/# users is trending over time.

I would need to highlight some specific accounts for the CSMs to see that those customers are a good candidate for upgrade. This would be similar to what happens in Excel. Is this possible in Gainsight?

I would like to see Gainsight feature a more proactive notification process. I realize this is a pretty large-scale proposition that would fundamentally change the product, but I (and hopefully others!) think it would be worth it.  Currently, a Gainsight end-user has to consciously navigate to individual tabs within Gainsight to find their notifications. You have to go to the Gainsight home tab to view a dashboard that might have critical information, you have to go to Cockpit to see any CTAs that have been assigned to you, and you have to go to a customer's C360 page to dive deeper into issues.  What I'd like to see is actually simple in theory. Much like Twitter, Facebook, etc., we would have a notifications button that users could simply click to see what's new since they last logged in. In fact, we already have a notifications button! It just isn't used for my proposed purpose of course.

This has come up a few times in support.  Pretend your use case is to have a participant stay in an email chain while a field on the account is 0. Once that field moves off of 0, mark them as complete. For this, you have a calculated field in the program that looks at the account object for a field equalling 0. Say you want the participant to stay in the program as long as that field is 0.  Within your conditional wait you can add your calculated field of "Field" = 0  When using a calculated field in a conditional wait, if the participant meets this criteria once it comes into the conditional wait, it moves forward to the next step immediately. If it doesn't, it waits for the specified time you set in the conditional wait. This has caused issues where the first email goes out, then any subsequent steps happen rapidly afterward. Right now, if you wanted to send the first email and then wait 5 days for this number to move

While it is a good improvement to have report folders in the report repository, these folders are not available in the dashboard view.  As we have dozens of reports on the same object, it is hard to remember which one has the data we want.  It would be helpful if switching to a folder view, inheriting the folder structure in the repository, in addition to the object view in order to find the reports you want.

Please, add a possibility to restrict certain roles for creation of "Discussion" (simply disable/hide this option in the new topic form. We don't want to generate "idle talks" on our community, that is why we want regular members create only questions. We are dedicated on problems solving and discussions will generate a lot of flood.

Please, add a possibility to configure tag system. It will be very convenient if for new subjects the Community will automatically fill the tags depending on the category, for example, "Opened" + "Home Users" + "English". And if we close the subject, then tag "Opened" will be changed to "Answered" (not only a status label but tags too). This feature will be important for us because we would like to have 2 languages in the community and we need to differentiate topics in different languages. The same for Home/Corporate differentiation. Also, tags must be changed to appropriate ones after moving subject from section to section. For example, we have moved the topic from the B2C to B2B section. New tags will be the following: "Opened" + "Business Users" + "English".

Please, add an ability to hide/move the following sections (generally for the community, not for each member). These sections take too much space. Actually it is not so interesting for a newbie who wants simply solve his CRITICALLY IMPORTANT problem. It's better to extend the editor while creating a topic/reply

Please make it possible to govern the ribbon with "Recently online": hide the ribbon entirely or change its on-page location. For example pull it down above the footer. This information makes not sense for the majority of regular community members. At the same time it takes space on the first screen of the community page which is not good in usability terms. This information might to be useful for admins and moderators sometimes. So we'd like to hide it from regular members or at least move it to the footer.

Hi all, I think it would be nice to add a banner option to the community. To explain: Upload a picture with a direct link to a certain URL. Most of our visitors find our community via google. So there are also a lot of prospects (maybe future customers) on the community. It would be great if we could show them a nice 'offer'. Even nicer would be the option to target, for example to show a different banner offer when somebody logs in with a customer account -> then show them a special offer for customers. Today Sally searches the account name but if a company is located at different geo locations it would still have the same name and hence difficult to use Sally.  We could search using customer identifier or if that is the parent acc Also the above ideas would differ from company to company and hence having this a part of config would be highly desirable

We are having an issue (is with support) where our user load is never fully completing because we have more than the limit of 1000 slack user due to inactive users still in the system.  Would be great if the logic to do the import would only look at active slack users to lower the number and hopefully make the import successful.  We currently cannot enable sally/slack for our team because the users are not importing over due to the timeout.
