I’d like to have the capability to create placeholder text in registration fields (similar to other custom fields) so we can more effectively communicate details about the registration fields. For example:that the username field will be displayed on the site the password requirements (before showing an error) that their email will be the email where they will receive notifications or that it should be their work emailAs @Jeanie Lee pointed out, this isn’t currently possible in the product.

Currently when you apply text wrap to a report, it can potentially split up words within columns as it moves text to the next line. It's been explained to me that this is expected but I could see how this could lead to hard-to-read reporting. Is there anything on the roadmap that would eliminate word-splitting in report text wraps?

We would like to see the ability to restrict export access to a specific group of users. We would want them to be able to review reports, and dashboards, but do not believe it is necessary that they have the ability to export.

Hey Team,  In a customer meeting  it was asked like how to track which field is used in Global filter ? For example Here CSM Field is used in Global Filter ,But From Which Object it’s used ? How to track  path?  

Do we have the ability to utilize the column line chart off a single data source, similar to the google doc graph below?

Hi,   In Reporting - similar to how we have ‘includes’, can we also introduce the filter ‘does not include’ to discard multiple values at the same time?

The Wrap Lines feature in reporting doesn’t take whole words into consideration when wrapping, but will cut off words, which makes reading difficult. Wrap Lines should wrap the entire word to the next line instead of cutting words off. 

Currently, you cannot delete a report from a dashboard if it associated with any global filters which requires you to manually remove the report from the filter before you can delete. This can be quite cumbersome and time-consuming if the dashboard has multiple global filters.  It would be a big time saver if admins could either exclude filters in bulk or simply delete a report without having to update every single filter manually.   

Hi team, One of the customer reported a scenario for success plans. While using and creating success plans we have encountered an issue with changing the plans status and saving the data entered into the plan. When creating a plans if the status is changed from one status to the another before saving any changes it will then erase anything that was entered. This is a common occurrence when a CSM is filling out a new plan and it is in draft status. If we change the status over to active before clicking on the check mark to save the plan it will erase everything they have entered. This seems to be expected behaviour from our end. But, The reason for changing it to active before saving is that is a more natural process. When a CSM is going in and making their updates and or changes to a dashboard it is more of a natural process to make all changes and then click on save. It is not a normal process flow to have to click save and then change the status.

Hi!I got this idea after thinking of ways to avoid consumers of our communities posting content against the community's CoC/guidelines. A clever solution would be to have a triggered pop-up window upon pressing “Create” for the first time where quick information about your community’s CoC/guidelines is written. Example:“Hi! Before you post this we would like to remind you not to postpersonal information like social security number, e-mail addresses, phone numbers etc.. (...) (...)Don’t show this message again.*                                                [Cancel]     [Proceed]”*This option could be tied to the consumers cookies to avoid the consumer getting this pop-up message repeatedly. I believe this is a very versatile function that many communities could use, not just for my own which focuses on telecom.Please, let me know your take on this idea and if it’s something you could have use of on your community.  Hope you all are having a great summer! 

As a CSM I need to search all my notes so I can reference prior client communications while talking to a client. Current situation:  Tasks and CTA Comments cannot be searched from the magnifying glass in Timeline.  CSMs that previously used One Note could search all their notes in a central search, but Timeline search is restricting the fields results return. Acceptance criteria: Advanced search function that allows additional fields to be searched Magnifying glass on Timeline defaults to search all fields including CTA comments & task details

At this moment you can filter by product area and idea status on the product page and ideation page.We would like to be able to filter by release or release date. Our customers want to be able to quickly see exactly what has been delivered in a release.

The business would like visibility into the the overall status of a plan. The objective statuses give us a good picture of progress against milestones but would like to roll up statuses like "On Hold" or "Closed Risk" to an overarching plan status. For example, when giving a project status you can give R/Y/G for specific milestones and for the overall plan itself.

Please allow for the editability of column width for objectives in success plans. Text is continually cut off when there are more than 11 characters in the column field which makes it difficult for CSMs to read key fields quickly within large success plans.

Our team is wanting the ability to edit the name of a success plan once it’s been made active. Currently this is not possible.

I'm not sure how wide-spread this is, but I noticed in Success Plan configuration, there's a serif font that stands out in the popup dialogs because all the other fonts are sans serif. Also, the capitalization in the popups is inconsistent. In the example below, I would capitalize every word in "Add Success Plan Template," instead of leaving "plan" in lower case.  

When i change the due date for a objective CTA in a success plan, it just only cascades the date adjustment to the tasks under the objective CTA but not across all CTAs’. Am I missing a configuration?

In the Report Builder, General Settings there is a toggle switch for “Enable lazy loading of report widgets.”   There is also a toggle switch under Dashboard Builder General Settings: The only reference I find to the lazy loading is in the Reports and Dashboards FAQ but it only directs the reader to the Report Builder toggle switch.  I don’t see any mention of the toggle switch in Dashboard Builder documentation.

Based on a support ticket I opened, it seems that the Summarize feature in Reports 2.0 can group Dates into Weeks/Months/Quarters, but will default to the SFDC Fiscal Year settings if the customer has set those up. This can cause confusion in reporting, as  an Account with a Date of 4/1/2016 gets grouped into Q1-2017.  We need a way to toggle between FISCAL and CALENDAR year reporting.

Is it possible to embed Wave Dashboards into Gainsight? Has anyone done this yet? Thinking this would only work on the 360 if at all.

Hey Team, [i] This is Logan from Support. We've had customers mention in the past that they were running into issues trying to use Gainsight split screen on a widescreen monitor for work! When Reports are split up and have less than 1024 vertical pixels of space, they get compressed, like the image below: https://gainsight.zendesk.com/attachments/token/DzjijTLvTwVEx82IFsgXXM3b5/?name=inline-362961885.png  This causes the "Show Me" and "By" sections to become unstable and unreliable to navigate and add fields in. It would be very nice to have these reports scale a little better to allow for some of our multi-tasking customers do the side-by-side report creation/editing that they desire! Does anyone have experience sending out reports via email on a weekly basis?

Would love to see the following columns in the report repository - where used - not just “dashboards” but which one so you can filter/group.  Basically the items in the drop down for each would be great to have as columns (or have the admin choose what fields to view and have it stick).
