Based on a support ticket I opened, it seems that the Summarize feature in Reports 2.0 can group Dates into Weeks/Months/Quarters, but will default to the SFDC Fiscal Year settings if the customer has set those up. This can cause confusion in reporting, as  an Account with a Date of 4/1/2016 gets grouped into Q1-2017.  We need a way to toggle between FISCAL and CALENDAR year reporting.

Is it possible to embed Wave Dashboards into Gainsight? Has anyone done this yet? Thinking this would only work on the 360 if at all.

Hey Team, [i] This is Logan from Support. We've had customers mention in the past that they were running into issues trying to use Gainsight split screen on a widescreen monitor for work! When Reports are split up and have less than 1024 vertical pixels of space, they get compressed, like the image below: https://gainsight.zendesk.com/attachments/token/DzjijTLvTwVEx82IFsgXXM3b5/?name=inline-362961885.png  This causes the "Show Me" and "By" sections to become unstable and unreliable to navigate and add fields in. It would be very nice to have these reports scale a little better to allow for some of our multi-tasking customers do the side-by-side report creation/editing that they desire! Does anyone have experience sending out reports via email on a weekly basis?

Would love to see the following columns in the report repository - where used - not just “dashboards” but which one so you can filter/group.  Basically the items in the drop down for each would be great to have as columns (or have the admin choose what fields to view and have it stick).    

Hi team,   One of our customers have reached out with a suggestion. They would like to have the scheduling feature for dashboard sharing. Like to schedule the share on every Friday at 4pm.   Please share your thoughts.

Report building is a bit clunky (compared to a salesforce, lets say. Or an airtable) I couldn’t figure out how to auto-sort a table that pops up from a widget # recently. So, just small stuff like that.

Will it be possible to display values at the data points(not when hovering over them)      

The line graphs should be able to show me all the data points automatically rather than just when I hover over the graph itself. I’m trying to export dashboards regularly and we can never see the exact numbers on that PPT because it’s just an image. 

Currently, the only way to show % or value on a double pie visualization is to hover. I’d like to see data labels representing the % or value (#, $ etc.) to the chart. In submitting this case to support, the response was that they key can only apply to single pie, but what I’d primarily like to see are labels inside the pie slices. A key would be an additional nice to have at top left and top right for each pie. 

Hello Team,  When creating a Report in Gainsight NXT sourcing the data from Salesforce Object, there is only one Lookup option which is “Account”. It would be better if the look up is enabled to all the prominent SFDC Objects. It will simplify the data sourcing from Salesforce. 

A show 3, by 2 bubble chart needs a legend to toggle the second “by”. Right now it groups by color but doesn’t show what the colors mean anywhere.  

Can we  provide the columns names in drill down to be more relatable and meaningful as per their original column names. Use Case: In Company Object, CSM field has lookup with User Object. If we select name from CSM, it is showing as Name in drill down. Instead of that can we show that as “CSM” + “Name” = CSM Name as column header. Example 2: Company> Customer Account Director (User Lookup)> Name  can be shown as “Customer Account Director Name”Example 3: Call To Action> Status (Picklist)> Name can be shown as “Status Name”Impact: With out these segregation, the drill down will show multiple column header as “Name”, which will lead to confusion. Currently when using custom colors in report builder you are not able to set all N/A values to the same color.  You would need to set this up for each individual measure.   The issue is we can't create custom colors on the field which might have more than 30 unique values. This becomes a problem when you are doing this for scorecards.

Is it possible to add R360 activities to the 'select types' filter on C360 timeline. We enabled R360 timeline entries to roll up to C360. Our CSMs would like the ability to filter on R360 activities via C360 timeline. Hope that makes sense?! A multi-select filtering option on the C360 Timeline (similar to the current Activity type filter) for visibility into Relationship-level Timeline entries could be really cool

We have a large number of activity types (35+) available for logging to timeline, but they breakdown in to just 4 categories. Our CSM’s would love the ability to just filter their timeline to show specific categories (e.g. Meeting) which currently requires selecting 20 or so different types of meetings.  In addition, or could be instead, the ability to save the filters they had selected last time would help with this (and stay across all timelines). 

When viewing the RULES LIST in Admin, no matter how much I stretch and contort my monitor and resolution I cannot widen the Rule NAME (which can sometimes be lengthy) and this can be confusing when using standard prefixes for naming conventions. Can this please be either: 1) Widened 2) Ability to be "elasticized" similar to MS Excel so we can set our own width?

Hi everyone,We think that it would be really great to have the option of adding engagements to a priority group in a bulk, i.e. in one go. For example, we have dozens of “onboarding guides” which we would like to prioritize and put all in the same group - and currently the only option is to do that manually, either by drag and drop or by typing the name of the engagement and selecting it.

It would be amazing if we could add the email engagements to the audience rules - it would allow me to send a follow on email x amount of days later, an example I have is: Day 1 - user logs on for the first time and receives a welcome/acknowledgement emailDay 7 - user receives a re-engagement email highlighting features it would hopefully help users re-engage with our product!

Our CSMs are asking for user activity data that can be filtered by device source - they want to be able to see login details for users of our desktop app vs. our mobile app. Right now we can filter by device source in PX but can’t do so in Adoption Explorer in CS. Our CSMs don’t use PX and ideally we’d like to avoid having to enable them on how to use PX and navigate between the 2 applications just to isolate device level data. We’ve already built the usage section in Adoption Explorer in CS that gives us the data points we need, so it would be really great if the device source filter could be added. Thanks! @danny_hallgren 

Would be more simple to have all account settings under one tab rather than 2 separate areas. It is not clear to click on My Profile  

For the integration of more products we want to use the product areas to differ the products in the Product Updates. It would be great if its possible to change the subscription in the Product updates. If a customer only has Product A & B, he doesn't need mailings for product C. 

Hi Team, One of my customer was looking to import visualizations created in tableau intogainsight dashboard.  Business use case is purely that the visualizations available in Tableau are far more advanced than gainsight currently. It would be great for user to be able to report on the gainsight data in Tableau, and then import back the visualizations that CSMs can use in presentations with customers, as well as a more palatable visualization for reporting important metrics.

example data space.  Data space is a legacy system and currently, we are suggesting customers use DD.  When an admin has an issue with Data space they try to resolve the issue from their end first before reaching out to support. It would be great if we show some popup or banner while they edit those configurations then they will try to create them in DD.  It will save a lot of time for admins.
