Posting on Behalf of a customer. To help better make use of SFDC resources and to avoid the Apex CPU Limit error, it is desired to be given the option to create the related SFDC Tasks at a latter scheduled time. That way important CTAs that needed to be created through a rule doesn’t fail to create. Optimization around the current triggers related to the Task creation process would also help as well to reduce the SFDC resources used.

Hello Gainsight Admin Community!Populating Comments via Set score rules in C360 Scorecards is one of the widely used functionality. However when we have the list of items to mention in the comments just separating them by a new line won’t do the job. As the list will appear as a whole sentence in the comments. How to proceed:Include a <br> tag in between the lines in scorecard comments to make them appear as separate lines in the C60 comments.As you can see the comments are separated by new lines in the C360 page. Hop

I want to add a “Yes/No” type user profile field, and I want to set the default value “No” for all users. However, I don’t see how to define default value of (new) user profile fields. Can anyone help with some guidance? Thank you in advance!/Per, Denmark

Why can’t users’ search in our community using tags that they want to have rather than what is shown by insided?For example the tag I want to use for my search is not available; so it would have been great if there was a field to search for the tag if it’s not already shown by default. SO NEED TO HAVE THE OPTION TO SEARCH VIA THE TAG THAT A USER WANTS.Thanks & Best Regards,Yasas​​​​​​​

Hello everyone,Has anyone utilized tray.io to automate the REST API send and receive of langage xliff files from Gainsight to a vendor etc.? Just curious and any comments would be of great benefit to me as I review tray.io? 

Can someone explain what actually happens when you filter by a specific Module in the Path Analyzer? My intended behaviour is to only show features in the visual that are within the selected Module, but in reality I see features from other Modules as well. I suspect it has something to do with the ‘Top Features’ always showing, regardless of the filter applied, but I cannot work out how the Module filter actually works. Add Filters | Features > change from Feature to Module & use ‘0’ for ‘Number of total times used/Greater than’  

Hello everyone,We are currently exporting the gainsight files for consumption in AWS.However, our requirement is to add two fields to the engagement master file for reporting by type of internally defined engagements.There is a description field available.  The question is how to get two additional fields implemented and then exported on the engagement master file?Can anyone provide any suggestions?  Thanks, appreciate.

Here’s the scenario I want to get some advice on.When someone signs up for the community they signup with a username and email address. The email address for example might be a personal email or a business email address. In some cases they may lose access to that email address (change of email or change of company).In that case we’d be sending all their notifications to an old email. My questions:How do they know they need to change this email address? If notifications fail to send to an email, do we get any reporting of such? (so we could then identify people we need to get updated email addresses for) How do people handle email address changes?

Hello Team!I did not see this posted anywhere, we have reports where we would love to see only the unique values.In Excel you can remove duplicate values, example, we would only want to keep the company name.Here is my Example:Name:     Product:                    Start Date:TBL          C360                          1/1/2021TBL          Success Plans         1/1/2021TBL          Renewal Center        1/1/2021TBL          Scorecards                1/1/2021In this case, I would want to keep ONLY 1 of the “Company Name” I do not want to see them 4 times.If we were able to remove the Duplicate names to only keep the unique 1, that would be helpful.And even removing the Product field it will still give me 4 values, since they are in the report 4 times. 

Hello all,we are on the sf.com version of GS still. We’d like to update the due date and close the task of a long playbook once the implementation is done. We were hoping to use a rule to load to CSTASK but that action does not show up. Alternatively, I cannot add CSTASK in my Rules Load Actions settings.As anyone needed to update the due date of an existing task automatically? If so, how did you do it?p.s. I know that I could split the playbook/CTA in half and start the second half with the implementation being done… And I might have to do that if we cannot find how to update a task… Thanks!Lyne  

On the Recently active topics page and the Active since last visit page there used to be a “show more” button at the end of the activity streams to load more topics when you have reached the bottom of the list. It looks like the button is gone now. Our power users are often using these streams and are now complaining that they can only see the newest 25 topics which (because our community is quite an active one) means they can only see what happened in the past 30 to 60 minutes.Did inSided change anything here?Edit 02.03. 12.20h:I have to correct myself. Hello, I’m looking to create an engagement guide that walks a user through a process that includes a search field. What I’m coming across is that if the search is successful and results are displayed, then the engagement continues. However, if there are no search results the engagement ends. Even if I search again and find results. Is there a way around this? Thanks!

How do I change the default spoiler text? If it’s a phrase, could someone please share the Module and Key with me? Ours looks like this, but I noticed on this inSpired community, “Show content” has been changed to “Learn more!” I’d like to do the same. Thanks!  

Our developer community currently uses GitLab to share solutions and integrations with one another, and we are looking for a way to integrate activity with inSided. This includes things like federated search, cross-posting updates, and gamification based on activity in GitLab. Is there anything that current exists?

Here is the example of how the original post is minimized when on the second+ page of comments:  However, some members in this tread are reporting that they don’t get that option, and that the original post always shows. This is not ideal when it’s a long post with images that need resizing etc.  Why do I get this option and others don’t? How does it work?

Hello Team,  I can insert a Hyperlink in the "Rich Text” widget. But, when I try to access the URL (hyperlink), the browser is being redirected to my org's Gainsight app. For example, I have added "www.google.com” as the hyperlink. When I click the hyperlink, I am being redirected to my orgs Gainsight app. 

Hello Team,  I have been messing around the Horizon Analytics for a while now. I am glad that you came up with the such a great improvement. I am happy to be part of a change. I have few things to share with you.  As far as I know I can do 5 Undo / Redo actions in Dashboard. But, when I do the the following steps there is no way for undoing previous tasks. > I have inserted few reports/charts and images to a dashboard. > After inserting all the reports/charts and images, I am inserting a "Rich Text”. But, I didn't complete inserting the Rich Text widget and I cancelled the insert operation without saving it. > If I try to do the Undo operation, the "Rich Text” insert window will open. That's all I can do and there is no way to undo the previous operations. > The same issue happens even if I have inserted the "Rich Text” and tries to undo previous operations, the "Rich Text” insert window will open. That's

Hi Team, Currently Sharing rule(Data permissions) are not applicable in JO program to restrict the data(read/write) from other users (Non admins). Use-Case: Super admin has created a MDA object and added a Sharing rule(Data permissions) to restrict the data(read/write) from other users.If non admin logins , They won’t be having access to the object.But they have the access to make use of that object in JO fetch (source) to pull the data and run the program. Customer want to restrict the object to be shown in the source fetch as well. 

The very first Analytics FAQ notes 3 report options that can be used to see ‘average duration of a user’  but I don’t think any of the reports mentioned do that (Adoption Report/Path Analyzer/Audience Explorer).The only place I have seen duration is aggregated in a dashboard widget, but that is not by user (unless you filter by user inside the widget).   

I am testing out the Salesforce integration in our sandbox environments. In order to do so, I need to add fake community members and have them do actions like posts, replies, ask questions, etc. to test if the data and activity is pushed into our Salesforce sandbox.  I’ve created a handful of dummy community users with fake email addresses, but they’re all stuck in Email Activation stage and don’t have privileges to post replies and do some other functions I need to test out. Is there a way to manually approve or bypass email activation from Control?  In trying to get around this, I also created a dummy user with my email and +1 at the end (e.g. johnsmith+1@gmail.com) to see if I’d actually get an email to activate, and I never received one.  I’m wondering how to go about this - any help would be appreciated! 

Do you employ a “Waiting on customer response” status type for CTAs? Is this recommended, or is there another way to organize CTAs that are pending a customer response? Any best practices to be aware of when considering implementing this status type? This is to support CSMs in better cockpit organization.
