Hey Gainsight, I'm still getting used to the product and couldn't find this in the support page...but is there any way to create a CTA via an email? My company is heavily rooted in outlook and we get direct emails from our client base on frequent basis, being able to shoot an email to a gainsight email address like with Salesforce Chatter would be incredibly useful. Thanks in advance!
When I try to move a CTA's due date earlier, I get an error "CTA due date cannot be earlier than task due date". This makes it essentially impossible to move the CTA's date earlier - you have to change all of the task due dates earlier before you can change the master CTA date. When the playbook’s due date for the tasks is set to be the CTA due date, these should be editable together too.
We would like to have a feature that allows versioning for replies, something similar to stack overflow.
When there are a bunch of notifications, it would be nice to open them quickly in different tabs. Currently the NC doesn't allow for that, When you ctrl-click it opens in the same tab, instead of in a new tab. When you right click, it reacts as if the NC isn't there. We have an image behind the opened NC, and I keep clicking 'open image on new tab’ 😅Is it possible to make that possible?
And she’s back with another multi select picklist request: Could we please allow automatic milestones to pick up on field updates (the update event) so we can use them to create automatic milestones? We can’t today (amongst all the other things we cannot do with multi picklists).Yet, real time rules can pick up on field update events for multi select picklists. One of our use cases: We are on prem, and it’s important for us to know when customers upgrade and build up some trends around upgrades.Realistically, what we collect is the version customers are on (they can be on several versions if several platforms, hence the multi picklist), from which we could deduce how frequently customers tend to upgrade their platform.Sure, we could figure this out from snapshot data by means of a sick data design or a real time rule with a dedicated MDA object, and another rule creating milestones from that. We shouldn’t have to, however. An upgrade is a milestone type of event, and allowing auto milestone to pick up on changes to log an upgrade milestone automatically (or any other change) would be helpful.
If an article covers multiple category or sub-category level subjects. Making the content accessible in each knowledge base category. This would be a game changer for our community. Our different products uses the same features and need to be able to have the same KB guide in multiple categories.
Not currently part of the scope: Adding this would move things closer to parity with system email notifications, making it possible for users to opt-out of emails while maintaining the same level of updates via their Notification Center.
Ability to edit inline reports in dashboards and GS home
We have changed to a new Salesforce instance after a company acquisition and in that change, we have reports and rules related to the previous SFDC instance that are no longer accessible or editable in any way. These should be something the admins can remove, there is no way to even view the data, as the whole Report is grayed out. If the admin can delete them, it would be one less thing we have to reach out to engineering for, especially since the data can not be used in any way.
I’m finding that both the Mega Menu and Navigation menu are incredibly limiting and while having the counters for each category of content makes a lot of sense; their use means - in my eyes - sacrificing the ability of new members to quickly grasp the structure of InSided communities. This becomes obvious with many communities duplicating content in the navigation, or adding links to FAQs, or simply awkward naming convention for the dropdown “Overview, Community...”Many browsers/ members will rely on the top navigation to understand the general structure of a site, and the default Mega Menu where all categories are in one dropdown and then Groups and Events and such are separate to me suggests that the items not part of the dropdown are likely external links or at least unrelated to the community. (Perhaps having the Knowledge base dropdown in the navigation smoothes this down a little, as is the case for InSpired).I’d love to be able to create my own dropdowns in the Mega Menu and with the categories that can be selected as options still keep the topic counters as well.
Due an upcoming Salesforce migration to a new version I will have to rebuild our Gainsight instance. Part of that is identifying what areas in Gainsight we may not want to rebuild or build differently. I’m using analyzer as well as Data Management’s dependency checking to do a lot of this research. Currently Adoption Explorer dependencies are not included. Now I wonder what other areas of Gainsight are not included and I worry if I can’t identify them, how do I know to rebuild them?
I wish that the blue dot, what states that notification is unread, uses our brand colors.
I spoke with a customer member today and she said it would be really helpful to quickly access the list of Ideas on community that she’s voted for. It’s the kind of thing that when she said it, I had to go to my profile to confirm there’s no easy way to do that now. It seems like a simple thing to implement and definitely practical!
It feels this should already exist but I couldn’t find anything via search…I would love the ability to limit the CTA Types which can be created by users (ie not Rules/API). We have different CTA types due to needing different layouts/data collection requirements, but many of these are things that we create via Rules on behalf of the end user. We don’t want the end users creating them themselves via C360 or cockpit, especially true where our desired flow is that the initial entry point (from end user) is another item (such as a low volume object record). It also means the options are long for CSM’s when actually they only need to create from a couple different options. I’d include “Activity” type in one I’d like to hide too, this should only be from Timeline tasks.
I’d love to have the Moderator Tags (and maybe also Public Tags) as additional columns in this export. Use case: AnalysisI have automated a number of moderation and engagement tactics with these tags, are questions with these tags more/less likely to get a speedy reply? Public Tags would help with analysis on if certain tags are more/less likely to be answered
Hi Team,Customer ( Tenant Name: Matillion Ltd,Tenant ID: c76b3837-d20b-4e26-80ce-5406da036624 (EU tenant) ) is asking when Gainsight 360 feature may be available to the EU tenants?
[Posting on Behalf of Customer] Per current behavior, when adding a record to a low-volume custom object from a report section via C/R360, it appears that all standard and custom fields found on that object are displayed, as opposed to the fields that are shown on the report used on the layout. The Ask: It would be ideal if admins could toggle which fields appear when adding a record from this page, as all non-system fields appearing creates clutter and potentially confusion for end users to have to look through fields that may not be relevant to them. Example:What it looks like when adding a record to this object from the C360 Configuration of Report used on Layout All Fields on this Low-Vol Custom Object in Data Management I did find a couple of similar posts (see here and here), but wanted to create a new one as this is a request for the Horizon Layouts UI. Thanks!
Hi team,Our CSMs use Gainsight Assist on Gmail, but we are not able to select which option we want to show there. As a couple Activity Types impacts in coverage and other key metrics here, it would be very nice to have this on Timeline setup. Ex: For us it doesnt make sense to send an email ang log it as a meeting. Thanks!
Hello everyone. It seems like Gainsight Connect for picklist only synchronize 'Customer Stage' and 'Customer Status' values from SFDC to MDA. Has anyone found a way to synchronize any other picklists defined in SFDC into Gainsight? I want to avoid having either double duty, or worse, forgetting to update the SFDC picklist and the GS dropdown list. Any ideas or any plan to consider this use case? All feedback is welcomed! Thanks!
We have a lot of clients going through implementation that have similar content but differing by 3 or 4 pieces of content. Building their academy would be a MUCH faster process if we were able to clone the content for an existing group and modify those few pieces of content that make up the difference.
