From one of our GS Power Users today: “This one keeps catching me out and seems like such a simple UX enhancement. When using the Outlook add-in if you want to log an email against a client record but it's internal (and therefore the list of addresses doesn't reference the client) the search for a client needs you to click on the search icon (magnifying glass) rather than just click in the field and start typing. Not a huge thing but nearly every time I use it I forget and click the main box, it does nothing and I remember I have to click the search icon before I can put in the customer’s name”.
While it’s important for users to be able to opt out of e-mail campaigns, currently as admins for PX there isn’t an option to control or manage the opt-out options. Our company sends marketing, operational, and non operational e-mails to our customers. We received some great feedback on a previous thread on how to best manage this. However it would be great if Admins had the option to remove the auto opt-out footer at the bottom. This way we can manage this ourselves and have the different customized opt out options
At athenahealth, we would find it beneficial to better understand the page views and clicks within Gainsight. Currently, we can not easily identify which dashboards or c360 tabs are less frequently used and if there are any differences among service tiers. This would help us to optimize the configuration. For example, our default c360 layout has 44 sections. If we knew which tiers used which sections more frequently, we could make informed decisions about setting up unique layouts that are easier for our CSMs to navigate. Ideally, we could configure a report like this, filtered for a timeframe of our choosing:Page Page views Page clicks User attribute 1 (ex. Department) Account attribute 1 (ex. Service Tier) Opportunities c360 tab 100 75 Account Executive Strategic Client Advocacy Dashboard 10 0 Customer Success Manager Premier
Hey,I am trialing in-line editing on a report I am using to fix some funkiness in the country to time zone mapping I had to create, and wanted to report that the editability of dropdown lists is a nightmare:When I click on the field I want to edit, I cannot search for the desired value. The search field that is available applies to the built-in field fields. Impossible to search through the list of 432 time zone values in the dropdown. I don’t expect in-line editing to be adopted if we cannot search for the value we want in when the in-line edit field is a dropdown list. Thanks,A
The ability to convert a reply into a question would be helpful when a valid idea gets a reply that is a question and we want to keep the idea post but convert the reply to it’s own question post similarly to how you can convert replies to questions into their own question posts.
Hi Team,We are utilising Success Plans (SP) feature and sharing actions with our customers. In order for them to be more self-sufficient we are asking them to Complete Objectives in the Plans themselves, for example scheduled Skilljar trainings etc. However in the current SP UI the “Plan Info” is the landing Tab for a Success Plan and “Objectives” Tab comes in second place. Would be great if possible to move the Objectives Tab in first place as a landing page where customers can directly work on Objectives shared with them.
When creating a report with a pivot, it would be ideal to be able to get a sum, average, median of the entire columns as well.
Since Gainsight CE uses Wistia as its video player, it would be amazing if video analytics could be ported over since Wisita currently has these available. Or, it would be nice to have a window into our own specific area where our videos are housed to view these analytics. While I understand that there is a version of Analytics reporting beta’d by Enterprise clients, robust analytics reports are already available in Wistia, but we aren’t given access to them.Since video analytics, beyond course completion, give us a real understanding if our passive learning is being engaged with, I really think this would be excellent to have. This is one of the reasons why we are embedding videos instead of using Gainsight CE’s video player, which decreases our product adoption.
Since Gainsight CE uses Wistia as its video player, it would be amazing if chapters could be used as a functionality within the Learning asset on video creation. This is currently available in Wistia, but has to be manually ported over for each video through CE’s Support. This is one of the reasons why we are embedding videos instead of using Gainsight CE’s video player, which decreases our product adoption.
Currently using the plugin enables the user to add the sent e-mail to the timeline of the specific customer account in Gainsight. This is not always helpful or making the information easy to find later on.I received a request from an internal resource to enhance the plugin in order to have the sent e-mail pinned directly to a specific CTA? Ideally the user would be given all available CTAs on that account to chose from, directly in Outlook.
When creating a new Conversation in the community, it would be great to have the ability to preview. I will be posting a lot on our behalf of our company (though I’m employee, not an admin/community manager for our instance). If I post something like a video tutorial that is embedded in the post with code, it would be great to be able to “preview” the post with that video before submitting, so I can ensure it displays to our users as intended.
We love the ability to add fixed text and images to Dashboards and have a use case to allow this in Success Plans on the Plan Info page. The problem to solve is providing CSMs the necessary support to work a Success Plan. These are the options we have explored today and their limitations:Success Plan Field populated by Rule Is editable by CSM Impacts field limitation on Plan Info page Company field populated by rule More complex configuration than above with same limitations
Love the new feature of emails logging for JO to Timeline! However, can we prevent this message from appearing on the links and allow users to left-click to open the link?
We have a graph embedded in an internal report where the row columns are not all labeled because of the size of the report. At least half of the rows do not have any label. We need the report to re-size based on the amount of data so it is taller and all labels can be read in the embedded report.
Our company has complex scorecards with 10+ measures, and therefore, we have artificially high overall scores across all client base due to each measure having less than 10% of total measure. Naturally we would want to see a yellow (if not red) overall score if 3 of our measures are in red, but with existing schema, if only 3 measures are red and the rest are green, the overall score would be ~82%, which is lime green. We have shared this with Gainsight with numbers and an example, but with overall score being the weighted average of individual measures, there has to be a way to set a separate grading for the overall score. Otherwise, either the overall scores show artificially high scores, or each measure would be marked with a much lower color than it truly is.
Activity Timeline object needs correct field types (GSID) and mapping for the following fields:Activity ID Context ID External Attendee Internal AttendeeI just created a rule to ultimately have a duplicate table with the correct field types and lookup so we can report on attendees for activities logged on a certain CTA. This should be out of the box functionality reporting and is only not possible because the standard object, Activity Timeline, does not have the right field types and mappings and I am unable to change it because it is a standard object. It is likely there are other standard objects in Gainsight that do not have optimal field types and mappings. Please review and optimize the standard tables in Data Management.
Recently I’ve found the need to mass update user email addresses and usernames. Long story. Anyway, the users with corresponding SFDC profiles are no problem now because I can update UN and email with SFDC User ID as the identifier in the Connector sync (yay!). However, when I tried my hand at writing a quick rule to update the UN and Email for non-SFDC users I hit a wall: apparently you MUST still use Username as an identifier in Update actions to the User object (boo!). This really stings because instead of running this rule that took all of 5 minutes to set up, I get to update four dozen users by hand. I’m sure it could have been worse but man, this would be easier if I could use a rule. For the record, I am attempting to use GSID as my identifier in the user which is, like, THE primary and immutable identifier for a single user profile in Gainsight. So, I’d like to suggest that you remove the requirement to use Username as an identifier to allow people to mass update UN’s via a rule.
At athenahealth, we have custom fields like duration and a sub-type drop-down in out Activity layout. This enables leadership to see if an Activity is related to a category of work like Performance Coaching or Issue Management and the amount of time the CSM spent on the communication. The issue we experience is all Email Assist activities that are logged do not have this information filled in. We would like integration any customizations from our Activity layouts into Email Assist so the CSM can fill in the relevant details they would if they were creating the email for Timeline. The current configuration causes scewed reporting results with large numbers of emails not contaning the needed details. Some diligent CSMs will go to the Timeline for each of these and enter the details after the email is sent, but this is extremely inefficient and not an expectation leadership is requiring.
As a CSM I need to see the most recently accessed accounts when I open my c360 so I can resume work quickly after re-launching my browser.
As a CSM I need to see multiple scorecards for a single accounts so I can track scorecard consistently across segments and offer additional scorecard options for strategic measures, and so I can offer different parent - child scorecards. #high
My company uses a customer identifier called context ID in addition to a client name. This is not a 1:1 mapping, as some clients have multiple context IDs. We want to include the client ID to the banner at the top of the C-360 so the CSM can easily identify who they are working with.
Please move the drop-down to add a playbook to a manually created CTA so it is directly below Owner. When a playbook is selected, several fields (including due date) automatically populate. When the playbook drop-down is below the due date, the CSM may have entered a date that is, subsequently, overwritten. It also will be "front & center" when the CSM is creating a CTA that they should look for an existing playbook.
