It would be tremendously impactful if admins were able to perform an Action in Horizon Rules Engine that allows us to load to any Success Plan field across all types where that field exists, rather than having to limit actions that revise custom fields based on the Type selection.Current use case:We need to load the “Estimated Duration” and “Actual Duration” fields to Gainsight Success Plans for use in reporting & also to help our end users (Onboarding Managers) keep track of their bandwidth. These are both calculations between two dates. Because we don’t have the ability to create formula fields on the Success Plan object (related idea here), we need to create a rule to load the calculations to the SP object fields. These fields are needed on 9 different SP types. Because of Gainsight’s current limitations with loading to SP fields agnostic of type, I need to create 9 separate actions in my rule to load to each type. Here you can see that when I added the type, my custom group & fields are available. But here, you can see the options for information I can load to agnostic of “Type” - and none of my custom fields are available. Ideally, on this screen, you could pick the Company identifier and the type would be optional. If no type is selected, then Gainsight should load to all SP types that have that field visible on the template. I don’t know if any other admins have run into this but it has been driving me nuts for the past two months. Please let me know if anyone has found a workaround or other solution here, aside from just using DD and building a custom object. Thank you!!!
Our users would like the ability to create a Cockpit view that has both CTAs assigned to them, as well as tasks assigned to them in CTAs where they are not the owner. They don’t want to see all of the other tasks in a CTA not owned by them, just the tasks they are responsible for. This would eliminate switching back and forth between views.
Even after organizing and structuring all email templates, it is still rather difficult for the team to find the right email templates, while sending an email from CTA “Send Email”, as the full name of the template is not seen in the drop-down list. The max character count can be 29, and we’ve tried to keep it as short as possible, but in some cases simply not possible.Would be absolutely fantastic if the drop-down bar would be wide enough, so the whole template name is visible. Or at least wider as it is for now. 🖤
Posting on behalf of a customer: I’d like the ability to set global styling across all PX engagements for a product. We have specific branded colors used in different situations, as well as fonts and font sizes. For example, we always use the same colors for a certain kind of action. Right now, we have to do this for each engagement. Having such a function would also make it easier to collaborate on consistent engagements across large groups of stakeholders.
We would like to be able to identify the start date for an objective on our success plans. Our objectives tend to be created manually and are the plan for the year so they will start at different times. I know we can adjust the start date on the Gantt chart, but that is retroactive and adds an additional step when we create the objectives.
I would love to see advanced filtering available on the dashboard filters. Use Case: A csm is monitoring all of their renewals from the renewals dashboard. CSM wants to know view all data where they are the opp CSM or assigned opp owner. Filter would be Opp CSM = (name) OR Opp Owner = (name). This would greatly improve workflow. There are other applications as well. I want to see any account with a health score of under 50 OR that has ACV greater than $$. It would allow improved visibility and flexibility to teams.
Deleted reports (reports in your Trash) still show as a dependency in Data Management. It isn’t until the report is “permanently deleted” (navigate to Report Builder > Trash > find report > select > Permanently Delete) that it is removed as a dependency.This...is silly. Please just exclude deleted reports (even if not permanently deleted) from Data Management > Dependencies.
Currently if you close a Success Plan, all of the associated Objective CTAs and Tasks are closed success. There is no option to apply a different status to Objective CTAs and Tasks.Enhancement: we would like to have an ability to choose which status value is assigned to Objective CTAs and Tasks when closing a success plan. Further, we’d like the ability to choose the status value when assigning a custom Status value on the success plan, such as ‘Cancelled’. Use Case: our onboarding team may need to Cancel and/or Close a Success Plan prior to completing all underlying Objective CTAs and tasks. For example, there may be 5 total Objective CTAs in the Success Plan, they have 2 that are Closed Success, 1 that is Work in Progress, and 2 that are New/Not Started. When setting the Success Plan status as Closed (or Cancelled in our org), the standard system behavior displays the dialogue box advising that all Objective CTAs and tasks (that have not been actioned, e.g. are in ‘New’ staus) will be marked as closed. The actual behavior is that they are all marked as ‘Closed Success’.This behavior means that when viewing reports and measuring utilization for Success Plan’s closed/cancelled early based on Objective CTA statuses and task statuses, there will be an artificially inflated number of ‘Closed Success’ records that were not actually worked at all.Our desired behavior is to have the option to apply a different status of our choosing that more accurately represents the disposition of each Objective CTA and Task with a Success Plan. For instance, when updating the Success Plan status to ‘Closed’, an option should be presented to apply any Status value we choose from our list of available CTA Status values.
With the implementation of the horizon rules, we are no longer able to easily update the S3 data pull details. This means that, when we migrate from Sandbox to Production, we cannot adjust to the correct S3 bucket. For some rules, this is a quick and easy fix. For other rules, this can be a complicated process to recreate. It would be great if we could update the data source pull in Horizon like we could in Bionic.
The new Dynamic Journey Orchestrator Analytics Activity Tab does not show how many participants complete the Program each day. This is also not available in Snapshot as reported here: We should be able to see this information in the Program without needing to create a unique report to have feature parity with the existing Programs.
Is there a plan to add analytics to the API? I cannot find a way to view certain metrics like guest visitors or page views through the API. It seems the dashboards have useful data points such as these that the API doesn’t. It would be nice to have these analytics data points for ingestion into BI and analytics systems in order to consolidate the community metrics with the rest of our company tools.
We are in the process of rolling out Success Plans internally, and there is a LOT of information that up to now CSMs have been storing externally on a powerpoint document or in Evernote that we are trying to give them space for within their success plans. I've successfully added the fields they've asked for and made them long text fields, but there does not appear to be a way today to specify the formatting or the way these display. When more than one line worth of text is entered, it doesn't currently wrap smartly and all additional whitespace appears to be ignored, making these context fields much less usable than they could be. Even if I make these rich text field types in Salesforce, the result on the 360 is the same. They don't even give the standard bottom-right-corner expand that Chrome adds to all text area boxes in standard forms. I don't mind the scrolling, but the wrapping makes it difficult to read. My folks are asking for it to be readable, which I don't think is unreasonable. Do I have any options today to make this happen? If not, please strongly consider preserving input formatting. Thanks!
We would like to integrate a chatbot into the KC bot. This way, if customers do not see an engagement that meets their needs, they can ask a question and get back a response. We are not asking for Gainsight to develop a chatbot, but to provide a way to integrate our own chatbot or a third-party chatbot into the KC bot.
Hi Team, One of my customer is trying to track the number of times a CSM has sent out a specific templated email. How does it work using the gainsight gmail extension to moderate email sends? Do we have this one in our roadmap? Best, Hardik
We have multiple segments within our teams that support different products which requires customized playbooks for each team (e.g. Product A and B both have an onboarding playbook but with different steps). This is quickly becoming an issue because of the number of playbooks visible when creating a CTA. Our work around now is appending the product to the end of the playbooks, so CSMs can search for their product but that doesn’t really scale. We’d like the ability to assign permissions to each playbook, so when a CSM from Product A creates a CTA they only see those playbooks assigned to their team and none of the playbooks for Product B.
Feature Request: Allow toggling on of Auto-Capture to Timeline of incoming customer emails within Gmail / Outlook Within Gmail and Outlook, the current GS Assist functionality requires the CSM to reply/send an email and then select the “Log to Timeline” button in order to log any email to timeline. There are a few improvements that would make CSMs lives much easier:Click a button to log an email. Rather than requiring the CSM to send an email or reply to the customer, many times simply logging what they have received is all that is required. Auto-capture of Incoming Customer emails and email replies: This is especially useful for a Scaled/Pooled CS team and organizations that want ALL communication captured in Timeline, not just what a CSM deems as important. Auto-capture of JO replies: Allow Advanced JO to track whether a customer replies to an email to fire off an action (CTA, AI response, etc.). This could open up a number of new Digital CS workflows. There are definite complexities that would need to be figured out, but this could be an incredibly useful feature.
It would be great if we were able to delay the assigning of CTAs based on the user’s timezone. Use Case:Our company is global. This means there is no good time to assign CTAs that works universally well for all at a specific time of day. While there are work-arounds (such as creating filtered CTAs), this is cumbersome, time consuming to create, and would take an extended period to run each instance.
I may be one of the few people whose run into this issue, but our team has a SP status called “False Handoff” that’s used on our Onboarding Projects; it essentially means that the Sales Rep needs to provide more information before the Onboarding Manager can begin implementation. When the team initially configured Success Plans, they added False Handoff as an Active reporting category, as they intended to allow the Onboarding Manager (OBM) to resume the same SP once necessary info from Sales is received. However, for reporting, the team decided it made more sense to close False Handoff SPs and create a new one so that we have historical records of how many projects were handed off before the Sales Rep provided necessary information.I thought I could just go into config & change the reporting category from Active to Closed and was shocked that admins cannot just do this. The requested behavior I am hoping Gainsight will consider implementing is:Allow admins to alter modify the category for existing Success Plan statuses If a Success Plan status is already in use, show a pop up that allows the admin to confirm that the change will be applied to all existing and new SPs in that status Also, allowing us to have custom reporting categories would help tremendously here for situations where plans are somewhere other than Active, Closed, Draft. Linking to this idea which proposes the same
