Hi all,We have a user who would like to use his iPad to take notes on within Gainsight while in meetings. While the Gainsight app appears perfectly fine on a mobile device, it does not seem optimized for iPads. When using the app on an iPad, the app appears to be stuck in vertical orientation with no option to orient horizontally. You’ll also notice (see screenshot here, blocked out for security purposes) that the app appears to remain the size as if it were still open on a mobile device. You’ll also see a screenshot of the virtual keyboard that is very difficult to use with the app functioning this way. I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for optimizing the Gainsight app on an iPad, or if this idea may even be in the roadmap as a future implementation. Thanks!
Hi Team - As of today, when you leverage the Gainsight App for Zoom and add a Timeline Activity to the C360, this does not sync with the gong.io call recording added to the Timeline Activity. Please see limitation article HERE. Can we put in a product request to solve for this limitation to be able to leverage the Gainsight App with Zoom to log a Timeline Activity and have the same call sync’d with the gong.io recording added to the Timeline?
I have had several customers ask if it is possible to filter out which calls are pushed to Timeline via the Gong.io integration. My understanding is as of today that is not possible. Can we explore enhancing the integration to provide customers the option to determine which calls are pushed to Timeline? Calls of a particular type or by a particular team for example may not need to be pushed to the Timeline.
This new multi-product Gainsight community has revealed a UX update needed for multi-product communities. It should also be helpful for single product communities with multiple Product Areas in Ideas. I can’t tell which of these ideas are relevant to which solution when I see them in the various activity feeds (home page, since last visit, recently active topics, etc). The ideas page has filters for Product Area, but those other modules and feeds do not. As a user of just one product, I’d like to see a visual cue as to which product area the Idea is for. This could be similar to how the category name is shown on other posts. The visual cue helps me scroll through the feeds and entices me to click into those related to my solution(s). Whereas the current state encourages me to ignore most ideas with the assumption thery’re for the solution(s) I don’t use.
Hello Team,We recently started building a new use case with Shared 360 and I have collected a lot of feedback from our team regarding flexibility and usability. The shared 360 functionality has essentially been the same since it came out - but im hopeful that a revamp is coming soon, just like the regular 360. Overall, we need a revamp like the new 360 which allows for a more flexible Summary section. We really wanted to add a logo for Uber Eats - so the customer knows who sent them the data, but you can’t do that in the current layout. You cannot rename standard widgets like Health Score The Horizon 360 attributes sections are so much more flexible than the current shared 360 ones. When sharing an R360, The customer and relationship name both show, but recipients likely don’t understand why it is showing both. The company name is not relevant to them (the ability to hide or show the company name is probably the most ideal option here) Permissions should be added for layouts, just like regular 360. The view is not responsive on mobile AT ALL. In our case, 80% of recipients will open on mobile. When you first load the page, the side bar takes up the whole screen. There is a very small arrow to hide the side bar, but then after you do that, there is no arrow to get the side bar back if you want it. You cannot see the customer / relationship name at the top because it is mostly cutoff. 360 Section names don’t support foreign characters. We are trying to put Japanese in and it just nulls it out when saving. Attributes and reports allow for Japanese so this is a weird behavior.
Hello, Writing in to request a feature to use for a reminder / to do. Like how tasks are in Salesforce. As it appears, I can make a task but it's a few clicks and layers in from the cockpit, and/or done via an Objective/CTA which isn't very functional. What would be great is from the main page or cockpit or whatever is a button that would make a task, you could assign it to a contact. Also, the description of a task isn't visible in the “my tasks” or “my ctas” main pages you must click into it to see it, which isn't handy. Like in Salesforce, if you can have the title be longer, we can use that as a description. And like in Salesforce if you can see not only the client but also the contact that's associated with it, that would be very helpful. Happy to have a chat or troubleshoot to find a better way forward to use tasks in GS vs Salesforce or OneNote (As many do). Because as it is, GS doesn’t work for this and we’ll have to use 2 different systems. See attached for how it is in Salesforce, see how I can see a longer description/title, who it is tied to specifically and the account the contact/task is with? I can create a task right from the home screen, or easily from the client contact’s page. Right now as is in Gainsight, it’s just not practical and needs help.
Will we ever be able to create formula fields in HA reports that are built from Salesforce objects as the source?
We like to keep our dashboards organized and looking as nice and clean as possible. In order to help us accomplish this, we add different elements to our dashboards, such as static graphics and text. The problem is, this counts against our total count of allowed elements. So instead of creating a dashboard that can have 30 widgets/reports, we can only add maybe 20-25.I can understand the need for a limit as this will help reduce load times and such. So this idea is to not raise the limit per se, but to have static elements, such as images and text not count towards that limit.
Currently it is not possible for our Gainsight End Users to create their own email templates for future personal use. The system is dependent on an Admin to create it for them. While that makes sense for JO or specific playbooks, it frankly is not user friendly enough for a large scale deployment.SalesLoft has a very similar capability and it gives the Admin the option to allow users to create Personal or Team templates. The personal template is very popular, and it is quite helpful to the admin team to create appropriate team templates. My thought is that something similar could be achieved in Gainsight where Templates would either be Team Templates or Personal Templates. This could be managed from an admin perspective with an appropriate permission bundle as well as a tagging of each email template as to whether or not it is a personal template or a team template. Personal templates would only be available to the creator, while team templates would work in the current manner. Email personalization through Email Assist or Gainsight Assist would continue to be an option.Happy to discuss this further. Grateful if the product team could review and consider this for the road map.
Hi folks, I require to build a solution requiring actions in Rules Engine based on survey response values. Surveys don’t appear to be flattened/object created until responses are received. I tried the solution provided in this community post but received emails advising “your request to flatten [survey name] is failed” This then requires part of a solution (the survey) to be deployed and live, before additional actions in the solution can be built. Is there something i’m missing here? The ask would be: “once a survey is activated, it is automatically flattened, creating the survey object which can then be used within other features in Gainsight.
Our CSMs would like to be able to share a Success Snapshot that includes their Success Plan Objectives, so being able to tokenize the Objective CTA Names would be a great idea to incorporate into Success Snapshot Builder.
Would be great if we could have the ability to create, assign and manage labels in Rules Engine (like you can do in Gmail/Keep/ Trello for example)This way we wouldn't depend on naming conventions (and would shorten the rule names), we could assign several labels to identify rules that do multiple things, filter using labels, etc.
We have emails that are sent “from” VP level members of our team, with a “reply-to” email going to a joint box. We found out recently that auto replies (like out of offices) will ignore the reply to and go straight to the sender. This post has more about the issue: https://community.gainsight.com/topic/show?tid=43969&fid=10I am hoping to see a change where this goes directly to the reply to email, so as to stop our VPs from receiving a large number of out of offices
Hi Team, Is it possible to remove the none, Option from a dropdown field
We are working through a project to better capture churn reasons. One of the things I would love to do is create a picklist the holds the different values for Churn Reason, but hide it by default on the layout. But if the Stage is set to churned, then we would want to show field. I know we can do something like this with layouts, but we already have so many of them. This would require us to at least double the number of layout that we already have, and this solution just doesn’t scale when you have a lot of layouts in play.
Hello Team, We have configured some global filters on the Gainsight Home Page. But, when we download the data from a tabular report, download contains all data irrespective of the filter applied. The actual behavior should be, the download must contain only the data based on the applied filters.
Posting on behalf of a customer. Currently there is no way to report and find the rule action ID of an action in a rule. Having this for the future would be helpful in determing what rule fired off a CTA for example.
HiI have a Custom Role for our employees. It would be beneficial for them to see a user's email address on the front end of the Community (without needing Control access / seats).- If there’s an urgent matter/opportunity, they could contact the user directly without needing to request the email from an administrator/moderator.
In Bionic Rules, you used to be able to view the “Rule Setup” without having to go into edit mode, which was a quick and easy way to check rule logic/filters and action configuration. Now it seems in order to look at the logic you have to: click edit for each individual data task and/or action. It would be great if, when opening up an existing Horizon Rule, you had a “View Only” mode again (instead of just immediately taking you into “Edit Design” mode) where you could view the summary for each task/action and get a quick peek at the configuration without having to open up each one in edit mode individually.
Often when creating reports that you’ve grouped by a value, you want it grouped for visualizing specific items together in a tabular view and not for summarizing column values. In the example below, I’m grouping Success Plans together underneath the Global Parent. The counts for each column on each grouped row are unnecessary and distracting for this use case (not to mention knowing that there are 36 Due Dates is irrelevant in any use case)Report Builder should have the ability to suppress column counts at the report level, and I was not able to find any existing way to do that.
Hi Team, It will be very helpful if the Dashboard Widgets build with Querybuilder reports have the KPI Chart option as shown in the below screenshot. Regards,R Satheesh
When completing CTAs in bulk, individual confirmation boxes are created which is a needlessly annoying user experience. It would make it less obstructive and jarring if there was a single pop-up box for all (and no information would be lost as they say the same thing)
