Report widgets with goal variance details are super cool to use and look nice on a dashboard, but when you have surpassed the goal, there’s default text applied to the blue progress bar (that you cannot remove) and that text pushes down the other details of the widget. What this means is if you have variance widgets next to one another, suddenly one is “off” from the others, just slightly. This is annoying! I wish it didn’t happen so the widgets can be consistent in sizing and display.
You cannot name an action if you do not have criteria. IE i get to a step and during my rule I have already filtered out anything that does not need to be actioned on. I do not need criteria before going to my rule, but technically that is the step to add a name. Bc I do not select criteria, I cannot provide a name. The action always displays the type of action you select.
I am looking for a way to upload a list (.csv) via email validator to clear bounces. Anything other than one at a time would be beneficial and appreciated. Some of the other, similar ideas that bear repeating on this topic:https://community.gainsight.com/topic/show?tid=41303&fid=21https://community.gainsight.com/topic/show?tid=38941&fid=21
Current RSS feed options are just for the topics or topics & replies. This isnt enough. There should be possibility to follow certain topic with RSS feed. And if user wants it should be possible to follow just certain child category with RSS.Current notifications drives users all the time to the community and I understand it, in a way, but let’s not to make things too difficult for the users.
Hi all, when doing a Survey in Gainsight looks like I can’t change the color of these 2 sentences: 1. All questions marked with * are required. 2. 4000 Characters remaining. It seems no matter which colors I choose in the designer for the rest of the text these can't be changed. (Attached the examples) Support confirmed it is by design and asked me to post it here…
To check if any urgent inquiries or spam attempt has been made, we check every new comment almost on a daily basis, which is pretty time-consuming. Having a short preview of the content of our posts within the overview of content on the backend would be very helpful, since this would spare us from checking the content of each new post/comment every time. Happy to hear how others solve this.
Once an idea has been implemented/delivered (closed), I propose disabling the upvote option for that specific idea. This adjustment encourages members to channel their votes towards other ideas that have yet to be implemented ensuring their valuable input influences ongoing discussions and prioritization of features that are yet to be delivered. This way, the voting system remains dynamic, reflecting the evolving needs and preferences of our community.
Hi all,This week I ran into a little hurdle with our launch of relationships: calculated fields. We used to have calculated fields to generate some benchmarking data at the company layer. Now that we have relationships, these are insights we generate at the relationship layer BUT we need to aggregate these insights for all the relationships belonging to a company, and as such need to write the aggregated (summed or averaged) values back to Company. That’s not been possible as I couldn’t remove formulas from my Company fields. However, since it’s possible to ADD a formula after the field has been created / after it’s been in existence for a while, why would it not be possible to remove a formula after creating the field? Especially where that formula can be modified. Why can’t I go the step further and remove it?I’m now having to recreate all these benchmarking fields without formulas (with a lot of dependencies to undo and set back up afterwards). It would be a time saver to be able to remove formulas from fields. Thanks,A
When you create an inline survey question for a CSAT question, it is missing the following in the email:Score measure labels. If you’ve set your question type to be Radio(Score) which shows the numbers of the score answers, your inline survey question will just show as 1 2 3 4 5 with no labels eg...instead of [Very Dissatisfied 1 2 3 4 5 Very Satisfied] the email just reads [ 1 2 3 4 5 ] Smileys. If you’ve configured your survey question to include Smileys, the smileys do not show up in the inline survey questionWhy is this a problem? It makes Radio(Score) an unusable question layout type for an inline survey question as the recipient is not aware of what a score of 1 means vs a score of 5. you’re forced into using the Default or the Radio(Text) options. It makes the Smileys unusable for an inline survey question
Hello! Topical issue here!Given the recent technical problems with the Slack integration through Zapier, is there appetite to build a native integration that does not rely on Zapier to connect Insided with Slack? Given the importance of Slack to staying on top of the moderation queue (ie slack notifications to notify of new posts/ replies), would be great to reduce the friction / scope for problems as much as possible.
Hey Guys, Reaching out today after speaking with a customer. We are curious if there is going to be an option to edit the size of the text in a widget to allow the entire title to show in the Summary section. If there is a way I am unfamiliar with please let me know.
Right now, a CSM can open all rich text fields on a Success Plan at one time, but when they go to save only the field that they hit save on will actually update and the rest of their entries will be cancelled. This is very confusing and not intuitive. If you are able to edit multiple at the same time, should they all save? Either you should only be able to edit one at time or all open rich text fields should be able to save at the same time. Expanding on previous post:
The customer wants to build a survey that should have a dynamic list in the questions which can be populated by specific fields based on the target audience. For instance - if there are 10 people against an opportunity - the rating question should have 10 rows and if there are 5 people against an opportunity - the rating question should have 5 rows. Can we please add this to the roadmap?
Survey question numbers are useful sometimes. But if you are trying to make a very SIMPLE one or two question survey, survey question numbers look silly. Please provide the option to remove the question numbering.
The list of fonts available in Survey Design and Email Template Design are different. For example, I’m missing Helvetica in Survey Design. For a consistent digital customer experience, fonts are important. Let’s improve alignment on these design elements for Survey and Emails.
Since we cannot assign multiple Objective Templates to a Success Plan via Rules Engine (at least not in an easy, automated fashion), we are creating an Objective Template for each permutation. However, even this task is difficult because we cannot clone Objective Templates and need to fully recreate it even if we are simply adding one extra Objective to it. This creates additional and unnecessary overhead.
Would be nice when appending CTA Comments through CTA Rule, if the most recent update would append to the top instead of the bottom. People naturally want to see the most recent updates first and then look for the older ones.
This is my second post around rolling out the Customer Cheat Sheet (released GA today) and some ideas/observations (First post here). There is a trial period until Jan 31st. After that, based on the reception from your end users, leadership and cross-functional partners, your organization will make the decision on buying the AI functionality (or not). How can you make sure that the CSMs know that this a trial product as you enable it? You want your CSMs to try this cool feature out but not at the expense of mismanaged expectations. Here is an idea 💌. As you enable Customer Cheat Sheet in the Customer 360, you can add an extra text at the heading informing users that this is a beta feature. Here is how you can do so: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4guRG7o2 Placement of Cheat Sheet in the 360 page: To make sure that the cheat sheet is used and front and center, make sure that it actually is! Don’t put Customer Cheat Sheet three scrolls down leading the users to miss seeing it altogether. Make sure that the Cheat Sheet is actually on the front page of your 360 page. Make this feature difficult to ignore and miss in order to give it an honest try :-)
Currently, there is no option to copy or clone a scorecard. Please let us know if this feature can be implemented?
We have global customers that have separate accounts owned/managed by different CSMs in different regions, but they still need to cross-collaborate when it comes to larger, organizational goals and objectives. Today, they have to maintain their separate SPs in separate accounts which makes collaboration and cross-regional visibility difficult.Need the ability to have “global” success plans that can span more than one account, accessible and editable directly from each account. This is a pretty common use case, as I’ve encountered it at previous companies as well.
For non-Salesforce connectors, any job failures that occur before the execution is started do not follow the standard failure notifications that you may have configured for your job. Gainsight’s Reason:The notifications will only trigger once the source execution has begun. However, in our case, it failed before the execution started, as shown in the screenshot. If we're using an SFDC connection as the source, we'll receive a failure notification even if it fails during the extract process. But for other connections like Zendesk, we won't receive a failure notification unless an Extract action has occurred. If the job fails before the execution starts that is still a noteworthy failure that should be communicated. We configure our system to have failure notifications so that we do not have to manually check that everything is working properly every time.
