I am able to reassign CTAs and Tasks via the Mass Edit function in Cockpit configuration, but am I able to reassign Success Plans? For now, I will do so via the dataloader, but was wondering if there was a way to reassign via Mass Edit.
Posting on behalf of Trimble MEP (PX customer): Product Request: Language localization for Knowledge Center Bot Business Case: As a global company, it’s crucial to target customers with their respective language in order to properly onboard and train them. If the language is not localized: Some users may get confused and not know how to submit feedback. It looks like we were ignoring the language of our customers, when in fact there's nothing we can do about it. There's some sensitivity with customers around the world about the dominance of English. cc @angelo @mickey
The top navigation today groups both Community and other Gainsight links (like corp. homepage, Support, etc) together. It would be nice to group all ‘Community’ items together and the ones that go away from the Community, separately… like the screenshot above so that the nav experience is predictable and consistent.
Our team would like the ability to tag Timeline activities in order to sort/segment easier. For example, for meetings, they would like to tag with "on-site" or "remote". Another use case is using tags to surface very important activities such as a phone call with a high ranking executive. A tag of "Exec" would allow for easier sorting but the CSM and their Directors. I anticipate heavy use of this feature and the ability to tag for easier sorting of key activities would be lovely!
Full license users with the permission to design Email Templates are unable to send a test email to themselves.Once they click on 'SEND TEST' in the top right corner, they get an error message (attached). According to Support, this is expected behavior. This doesn't sound logical to me, why shouldn't they be able to send a test if they are able to design Templates?I’d love to see this enabled within the Design permission, so users who are able to set up templates can also send it to themselves to test.
I would like to be able to link to an integrated article from a tooltip/dialog in an engagement step-through. It would be great if I could link to a specific Integrated Article directly from the engagement. Along the same lines, it would be great to link to a “recommended next” article from an article.I know I can link to an external URL, but I can’t find a link to use that would open a specific integrated article for the user.Previously, I asked this as a question, but had no responses:
Hi, as the title stateswhen i select “last week”, it selects the previous sunday to saturday. But Our weeks start on Monday until Sunday. Is there a way to change that setting? Best,DanieleP.S. I see that @Silviu is doing some research on the topic:
It seems like the new Data Management no longer supports configuration of self lookups. This blocks a use case we have configured for 1 product and would like to also configure for our other products.Use caseWhen reporting on usage data (brought in via S3 bucket), we would like to show the parent feature of features (to see (part of) the feature hierarchy). Therefore, the Feature Object contains a field 'parentfeatureid' that should look up to 'id' on the Feature Object itself.
Is there a way in the Report Builder (or elsewhere) to make a CSAT score not appear as 0 if a client doesn’t have one? The 0 can be misleading as it could lead us to believe that the client has a CSAT score of 0 when in reality they simply don’t have one. Thanks!---
Recently (as of this writing), Report Template token support for reports was added to Email Assist 2.0. Admins have the ability to add a report token into an email, allowing end-users to email off a report in ad-hoc emails. The Problem:If the Email Configuration setting is toggled on as below: Users have the ability to add any report out of Gainsight and send it to a customer be it intentionally or on accident send one a customer should not see. The end-user also has a backdoor into seeing other reports they should not otherwise have access to, or remove filters that would show them information otherwise restricted to them. Reports today can only really be permission controlled by virtue of the permissions set by the dashboard they are placed on (either with sharing groups or individually). But now, if a report is locked behind permissions on a specific dashboard, a CSM who wouldn’t otherwise have access can now add that report to an email and view or send it. I have confirmed with Gainsight that all reports can indeed be accessed via the token, and I have tested this with a non-super user as well in our Sandbox. While you can toggle the token mapping off, that is only a partial solution. Toggling that off means you lose the ability to remap any other token as well. The ask: Similar to the subject line - can we give admins the ability to curate what is available to be used in an Email report token and by who? The bottom line is that we need more control on what reports can be seen/accessed by who. Gating them behind Dashboards is no longer viable. For example, for a report to be used by Gainsight Sally, you have to mark it as a Quick Insight. This doesn’t allow granularity to restrict reports for different users, but it at least gives admins the ability to opt reports in to that feature.
I’d like to have the ability using Rules Engine to automatically apply a specific playbook to a CTA when a picklist field on that CTA has a specific field selected. For example, on our CTAs where Type = Objective. After this objective is created, our CSMs may choose that the Services Type field is “Accessibility Mission” and the “Accessibility Mission Type” is “Audit & UX Recommendations”. Once this Accessibility Mission Type is selected, I want our Accessibility Audit playbook to auto-apply to the CTA to add tasks that are specific to this mission type.
Hey Team! It's come to the attention of Support that some of our Customers are looking for added functionality to the report builder. To be exact, our customers would like the ability to adjust the values and [i]aggregation on the "drill down" report shown when clicking on the data points shown in visualized reports. Currently, if you were to apply aggregation to a field in the "Show Me" section, this aggregation is not visible in the drill down view. Instead, you see a tabular report that shows granular data pre-aggregation. Perhaps the ability to have the drill down report show the same aggregated data as in the the current report pre-visualization would be helpful! even having this as an option would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the assistance! Take care, Logan Thome
When selecting to Add Activity, it would be helpful to display the full list of activity types. Although users can scroll through the available activities in this dropdown, the scroll bar is difficult to see for some users, resulting in users not realizing there are additional activity types available for selection. It would be nice to either have the full list of Activity Types displayed via the Add Activity dropdown or to have the scroll bar more prominently displayed.
Currently, this object does not allow you to pull in fields for formula fields beyond the base object. In other words, fields on the two native lookups and any beyond that are inaccessible.Considering there are only a couple of fields on the base object, this renders formula fields useless. The availability of the fields should also honor your who/whatis ID resolution in the report as well.
A CSM suggested having the ability to create/add a Company Person that doesn’t already exist on the Company record when adding External Attendees, similar to how SF can do it from a Contact field on a record.Gainsight Salesforce
Limiting Gainsight Home update notifications to app-only instead of allowing Email and Slack updates seems like a very big design miss. There are enough frustrations from us admins as it is with the lack of ability to force push an update or reset users’ Home personalizations. Limiting their alert options for when they get notified of an update makes this pain even harder. What is even worse is that the Email and Slack options are not greyed out. It is just not clickable. So it feels like something is broken at first.
Prior to data management being “horizon-ized,” we were able to edit field types in data management as long as there were no dependencies on that field - i.e. if I was setting up an object and accidentally saved a field as a number instead of a string, I could easily go back and change it as long as I hadn’t sourced that object yet in reports, rules, etc. Now, though, that ability to edit has annoyingly disappeared. My use case is that I used a CSV to set up an object because it had about 30 fields. So Gainsight guesses what my field types are, and it’s up to me to fix them as needed. I accidentally saved too early though and was unable to edit about 5 fields that were wrongly classified. My only options were to delete each individual field and re-add them one-by-one or just delete the entire object and re-load the CSV. Both options are a poor user experience, and, more importantly, are a step backward from what we used to be able to do. Please consider bringing this functionality back.
Not sure if this is possible or not, couldn't figure out a way to do it or find any documentation that said otherwise. But, it would be great if we could have more control on customizing the CTA Detail View in Cockpit. Currently, the default setting has 'Timeline', 'Customer', and 'Call to Action' tabs with any additional tabs having to be selected by clicking on the drop-down from the number. Since we don't use the 'Customer' tab for anything it is kind of pointless having that show up as one of the 3 default tabs while we have extra-clicks just to get to the 'Opportunity' tab. If we could rearrange the order the tabs appear or delete unnecessary ones, that would be great! It would also speed up our CSMs workflow when they manually create a CTA and then have to link an Opportunity.
I want to be able to view Cockpit listed by tasks and due date not by CTA. I.e. I can have a to-do list view of tasks to review on a daily or weekly basis. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do this. Does anyone know how?
This customer has a use case that includes pushing User object inferred location fields to SFDC via the Salesforce integration in PX. These fields are not currently available in field mapping.
