Feedback on testing rules in the Horizon experience: I’m still facing some of the same challenges I had with the old rules engine. When you are building a new rule and test running it, and then, need to go back and make tweaks, it’s quite click heavy, and the Horizon changes have made that even more evident with the opening of new tabs for each thing. I would love if there could be some improvements to made to make this easier:You should be able to access the execution log directly from within the rule so that you don’t have to leave the rule you are building to check the results, and then, go back into the rule to make edits. If you are having to tweak more than once, this is super cumbersome. It would be great to have some sort of preview option for merges or transformations as well. This would help with the above as well because a lot of times I have to run the rule just to see if these are doing what I want.
Could we please have rule chains and AO run every 2 hours
Every time I train a new team on dashbaord design, they immediately ask if it is possible to create a “dynamic graph” at the top of their dashboard similar to the default “Gainsight PX Dashboard”. This feature is great on the default dashbaord and my colleagues would like to see it on the custom dashboard. It is kind of wasted on the default dashboard as that dashboard always resets every time you come back to it. It is a very nice “sample” but not all of those same widgets are available when creating your own dashboard. Please add a large dynamic graph to the custom dashboard widgets.
One of our CSM's suggested the implementation of a "tool tip" or "Hover-bubble" or "Info" icon that would provide an icon (?) on each dashboard, report and widget that would provide a text summary/explanation of what the item is showing.
I'm running a report against an MDA object. Two key columns are the account name, and then the date for the specific data point. I can sort by Account... or date... but not by "Account and then date within account." So if I want to see week 1-4 in order for an account, i'm having to sort by date and then filter to a specific account. In Excel this would be easy, right?
Today, when creating a task from a timeline entry it creates a new CTA for that group of tasks on that timeline entry. It would be nice to be able to associate your tasks with CTAs I have already created. So when taking notes from a meeting I could associate Task #1 with a business objective CTA and Task #2 with a Risk CTA and Task #3 with an opportunity CTA.
I would like to be able to do column calculations in Report Builder with aggregated data. Currently, I think this can only be done in Data Designer, which is a heavy lift. For example, I have taken our data which is structured monthly and created a custom field in Report Builder to group by Quarter (A). However I am not able to accurately report out quarterly metrics like sum(B) / sum(C). In the data object, D is a calculated field where B / C = D, but I cannot recalculate that accurately with row-grouping, best Report Builder can do is take an average of the values in D. This is not accurate or helpful to report, and can result in D showing 50%, but the actual math of sum(B) / sum(C) = 47.5%
There're automated and self created CTA's where I would like to make a timeline activity for upon closure. Today I need to close the CTA, then go to C360 and create manually an activity. It would be more efficient if there's an option upon closure of a CTA that gives you the choice to create an Activity in the C360 timeline. Maybe immediate redirection to an “ + activity” screen or maybe pop-up screen at closure of a CTA.
Based on a CTA Closure Status (Example, Closed No Action), we would like to require a secondary picklist to be selected from (Example, reasons why the CTA was set to Closed No Action)
I have a customer that would like the functionality of the default CTA status to not override the CTA when checked complete. Example: The status is set to Closed No Action but if I check the main box on the CTA it changes it to Completed when I would rather just have it stay as Closed no action
Hi Team, Currently, if we have to sort data in the AE Layouts, we have to edit the Usage Section and then add the field in question to Order By to set the ASC or DESC order. There isn’t a way for the End User to sort the fields on the fly. If they have to, then the reach the Admin to make the edit on the Layout and sort it.It would be great if we could consider providing the End users the ability to sort the Layout as per their needs on the fly.
Today, you can submit internal survey responses for a survey created not using JO. It would be very valuable to submit survey responses on behalf of customers for JO surveys. There are situations where emails can't be delivered and the responses still can or need to be obtained.
I want to call this a problem, but I'm flagging it an idea. I am building an "at risk" accounts report based off of the Company object. In "by" I have Vertical (from Company) and Label (lookup through Scoring Scheme Definition table) I want to assign custom colors to the Label field, so I tried setting them on the Scoring Scheme Definition object: But they do not propagate to the report which is built off of the Company object.
Hello, The new horizon UI for bionic rules is great, it has new fields, sort capability, cleaned up, modernized and a great set of things. It does, however have one major concern and one other concern. The old Rules Engine was always a struggle with the hyperlink and people would click on the link to go into view mode, when you wanted to go into edit. It might be worth considering to make the hyperlink go into edit. There is great things in the new UI, this one would be a very nice to have.
Testing out the new Horizon Success Plans in sandbox. I would really like to see an objective view in the same way that many of us have been requesting a Task View in the new Horizon Cockpit experience This would give you visibility on the upcoming objectives you have due or coming due rather than just based on the overall success plan.
Please reduce the minimum height required on a dashboard for a bar chart report! If you place a bar chart report in the first row of your Horizon Analytics Dashboard it takes up over half the screen. In the old dashboards the bar chart could be a more reasonable height and allow for other reports to share the space.Horizon Analytics Dashboard: Old dashboard:
Not sure the best way to give feedback on Horizon Analytics since I don’t believe it is technically still in Beta… so will start this thread to capture as I am kicking the tires on it. When I try to access Custom Colors in the new UI, I open an existing entry and the data never loads (this was done in an Incognito browser window, so it’s not cache) When drilling down into a report from a dashboard, the “Analyze Report” button should not appear for users that do not have access to Report Builder. When a non-privileged user clicks that button, they get a “403 Access Denied/Forbidden” error. This will result in numerous tickets sent to admin teams saying there is a problem or requesting access. This should be disabled for all users that do not have access to Report Builder. Here are my current report builder settings: The text that accompanies the refresh button on charts/graphs is misleading. The example below indicates that the data was refreshed and that if you click on refresh you’ll get the latest data - but this particular graph pulls from a data table that only gets refreshed once per day. The language here should be modified to remove the confusion. I have a chart that appears to have an unexpected item in the legend in the new UI, but it doesn’t have that in the old UI (hard to see bc of the custom colors, but there is a cream color there, the same color that matches the N/A value) NEW UIOLD UI Regarding the “You did some modifications to the dashboard. Do you want us to remember them” It is more grammatically accurate to say “You made some modifications to the dashboard.” It does not respect the pinned navigator - the message gets cut off: Clearing a filter takes two steps now instead of one: New UI OLD UI The date filter is a bit awkward in the new UI… you have to scroll to the right in order to add a second date for a custom Between statement… would be better to have the date fields stacked vertically without the need to scroll: NEW UIOLD UI When sharing dashboards, I am only able to pick a NXT-direct domain to share - what if the dashboard has SFDC reports on it? We need to be able to share a link that is displayable via SFDC: Are there supposed to be two sharing options? When I share a dashboard via LINK, I get these errors when clicking through: Selecting the three dots on a report on the far right side of the window sometimes cuts off the options I can only see the full list when I expand the browser to Full Screen - this doesn’t happen all the time, only sporadically...
We are heavy scorecard users and have 3 different scorecards we use on the relationship level. 80% of these scorecard metrics are the same on all 3 scorecards, the other 20% may vary based on the relationship it is applied to. Occasionally, we need to adjust our scorecard filters so a different scorecard is applied to certain relationships. When we do this, it clears the history of ALL metrics, even those that were included in the prior scorecard. We would like to see the history tied to the metric itself, not necessarily the scorecard the metric is on. This impacts our manual metrics even more because it clears out any manually set scores when the new scorecard is applied, so we lose that information altogether and the CSM has to manually add it again.
Hi Team, Picklist fields in horizon supports replacing it to identical alias field names but this alias config should support both identical or grouped name. For example, if i want to show relationships that exited onboarding, i would apply stage to have New and Ramping customers as onboarding customers and other stages to Exit Onboarding Customers. For instance, in sfdc, bucket fields config holds grouping of picklist, similar to that config, if Gainsight alias could work would be added advantage. Please add this to immediate release. Thanks!
The current backfill takes quite a bit of time making it difficult to answer questions quickly. I’d be very happy if it worked a little faster. :)
Just like the same report can be referenced in multiple dashboards, with the (awesome) addition of the Rich Text, Image and Web Page widgets, it would be amazing to have the ability to create a named Rich Text widget and reference that in multiple dashboards. Use case:I want to have a rich text box on every dashboard that has links to help articles, support and additional info. I’d like to make this once and be able to just drag and drop it onto every dashboard. If I need to make an edit I can edit it in one location and it is updated everywhere Currently, I have to re-create it every time, and if it needs updating (such as updating a link) I have to update every instance.
For some Px customers there is a need to track the name of the product, not just the feature name. This often happens when the ‘ultimate’ product is broken into several different ones with the same features. Some customers want to add a product name within what is tracked on a single tag. I am happy to share some customer examples if product management is interested in this concept.
We recently turned on the ability to link a CTA to an opportunity in SFDC. This is great for transparency to our non-Gainsight users. With that said, there is currently a delete option on there that actually results in an opportunity being deleted in Salesforce. I need to find a way to disable that feature as we never want to delete the Opps. Would love this as a feature!
