Our Salesforce integration uses Enhanced Email which utilized the Email Message object to store emails. We would like it so that emails from the Gainsight timeline are also created in Salesforce as a record of the Email Message object. Under Timeline Activity settings, I only see options for syncing emails as tasks/events. In the future Salesforce will begin to utilize the email message object and not tasks/events for logging emails. Can we get a way to sync our emails from Gainsight to Salesforce as an email message record?

It would be nice to have SEO settings for Ideation. It would help us with SEO if there were same settings for Ideation as there is for categories (Platform > Community > Edit category > SEO Settings: SEO Title, SEO Description, Meta Robots).

Currently, clicking on Objectives or Tasks in the Gantt Chart of a Success Plan does nothing. This is counter-intuitive, as Gantt is the most convenient way for people to review the task list, and it would be extremely convenient that they could click on them to view more information.

Posting on Behalf of customer:When we use the key words to search in the KC Bot with Google Search enabled, we currently get results that are quite similar to those we get from a Google web search. But due to Google's API restrictions/limitations, we occasionally fail to find a few specific articles in bot search results that would otherwise be available when searched on the web.It would be great if we could improve this behaviour and consistently get the same results as we do when using Google's web search.

You are able to share Objectives that are Externally Shared (Enable Sharing with People) via the Success Plan share option so that the customer can access it on their own end.But what do you do when you want to jump into a call with the customer and introduce them to these objectives, or go through the progress? The only thing you can do it seems, is ask the customer to open the link themselves and then to share their screen. This is bad as CSM should be leading the conversation and showing examples at all times.A natural ideal solution would be that the Account Owner / CSM could access a view that only displays Goals that are externally shared. Then they could share their screen with the customer and go through the plan without sharing any additional internal tasks that may also be in the plan.Currently there doesn’t seem to be any way to do this, as you cannot define custom objective (and Gantt Chart) views from admin side, nor adjust filters from the user side. This problem is exagg

Currently when building a Program, we are able to select if a Participant with the same email address can enter once in e.g. 90 days. In some cases this is not sufficient as a criteria. Example: An external consultant / partner works for multiple customers & he should be notified when these customers are close to their seat limit.If I select “Participant with same email address can enter once in 90 days”, the consultant will be informed for one customer, but if the next customer reaches their limit within the next 90 days, he won’t be notified. If I don’t tick this box, he’ll be notified for the same customer every single day.As a workaround, I currently have to add the AO Participants in the query while building the Program. Ideally, this could be avoided by having a checkbox “Participant with same unique criteria can enter once in X days”.

The Home page allows AND OR logic when filtering but this is not currently possible on Dashboards. Can the product team please provide a statement whether or not this could be on the roadmap?

When using Gainsight App for Zoom and log a Timeline Entry with multiple attendees from multiple Companies ( lets assume those attendees have been added as contacts in Person/Company Person objects), there is only ONE timeline entry logged with multiple attendees. However, when we query the Activity Attendee Object, ONLY 1 external attendee is shown/derived and the rest are not. We need to expose email_address from our database to the Timeline UI and then the GS Admins will be able to see all necessary data to follow up with all Zoom attendees from Gainsight, e.g. send them a survey.  

The date chooser starts the week with Sunday, however in Europe the week is considered to start with Monday. It’s easy to make a mistake for someone that is not used to this view. It would be great to have a personal setting where you can choose which day one considers the first of the week. 

I love Data Designer. It would be even awesomer if when I built out the dataset that it just makes and saves an all fields report. I create that report every single time I make a data design and it would be nice to just get that for free.

We’re big fans of the search API for facilitating federated search (our case study). Here’s an idea for really taking this to the next level. In the same way that search indexes the results from the API, it’d be great if the Related Topics functionality can index those results as well.Examples:  Maybe there’s a training course on that topic from Skilljar or something added via the API We have pre-built templates in our marketplace that we index, it’d be great to drive traffic to those, rather than questions about how to build similar functinality ROI: deflects unnecessary questions/ideas for content available in search Increases traffic to those resources (likely the intended result of the federated search API)

Currently it's possible to subscribe on the Topic page only.this subscribe:I wanted to ask if there is a widget that could be on the homepage for example in the sidebar, where we'd have a simple form with all topics as checkboxes and subscribe.Is there such a widget? Or is there a way how to do it?

Users think in different ways and we would like to have different options for progressing through the slider engagement. For example, some users prefer to use their keyboard rather than a mouse. It would be good to allow them to use the arrows on their keyboard to move to the next slide. The dots at the bottom look clickable, but they just show your progress and do nothing with navigation. It would be good to be able to click on them to go to other slides.  

Current Situation: Event related JO programs are a very convoluted, manual process that involves creating an event signup page in Marketo, linking that to Zoom, and then manually pulling attendee info from zoom, exporting it to a CSV, and I have to “spruce up” the CSV data to include Full Name, and perform other data corrections. There is no way to track attendees in Gainsight, and currently, Zoom and JO don’t really talk. (but I know that is something that both Product and CS-Ops are working on)(note) I am aware of the planned Events functionality that Product is working on; @manu_mittal showed it to me a few weeks ago and I think it is a big step in the right direction. We discussed my use case then as well.My idea: Gainsight has the ability to host customer survey domains, but that is the only function (that I am aware of) where this functionality is leveraged. Hi,I love the idea of "Is your problem solved?" email and we were amongst the first to celebrate it back when it was introduced. Lately I’ve been thinking of a new version of "Is your problem solved?" email.What I am suggesting is that one could choose whether the email would be sent after a topic has been inactive for X days OR one could send it, say, X day after topic creation if there’s atleast 1 reply on it.That would maybe encourage OPs to mark best answers and questions would get best answers more quickly 😊

Hi, We have found an issue where we have the company hierarchy setup and it is displaying all of the Child accounts along with the MRR values. There is the option to combine all of these totals by using the SUM feature to display the total amount of MRR under the Parent account. The issue happens when a child account churns or becomes inactive for any reason, there is no way to filter that value out of the SUM so you are seeing incorrect data in this view, this has been confirmed with the support team. I think a simple solution would be to have at least one filter within this view to be able to select active/inactive accounts or filter on additional criteria as well. 

The page title that is displayed in browser tabs when opening survey links is: “SurveyResponse”, which isn’t very engaging.I would like to request that:The title tag fetches the survey title dynamically (so one doesn’t have to come up with multiple home grown pages for each survey)Coming from WebOps I know it’s pretty easy to do so can we make it happen? The Activities page in Connectors is where we see the job status and execution logs (reasons for failure, partial success, etc). However, we’re not able to re-run a job from this page. We need to go back to the Jobs page to run a job.This makes my workflow as such:Find out a Connector either Failed or was Partial Success run Go to Connectors > Activities > filter for the execution status > click the three dots on the activity to download failures or read failure message Go back to Connectors > Jobs and remember which jobs failed in order to re run them Giving me an option to run a connector job from the activities page makes the troubleshooting and resolution user experience more seamless.

We're currently manually deleting a couple of sub-categories on our Community. This takes up quite a lof of time since the maximum available amount of rows is 50. Can this amount be increased to, say, 500 or 1000? In some subs we have more than 100k topics. I know it's possible to delete everything at once via built in API's but we don't generally use those and none of are IT-specialized.  Thanks in advance!

Being able to customize the SEO titles of individual pages. Such as events, T&C’s etc. As they are all inhering the meta description of our community, we are having a lot of duplicate tags and we would like to have more control over it.

I know that you can create an event that only shows up in private groups, but I’d like the ability to create private events so that only logged in members can see those events.Our Community events page is going to be public for visitors to be able to view. It will display a variety of events - public, customer-only, etc. We want visitors to be able to see some events so they know we’ll be at industry events or if we host a big event for prospects. But some events (user groups, tips & tricks, etc) will only be for customers. It’d be great to be able to create an event and assign it to a custom user role so that only users with that role can see that the events exist. Thanks!

I recently had a problem where this email was not being sent out.  It turned out that I was not clicking on the approve account button, which is the only trigger for this email to be sent to a new user.My workflow did not include that button, as I used the pulldown to change the account role to registered.user and then assigned a selection of custom roles depending on the client.If I set the custom roles and click on the approve account button, it resets the custom roles as well.So in order to send the email and set the custom roles, I have to save each account twice (the act of pressing the account activate button, performs a role switch and an account save) .   There is room for more efficiency here.Ideally, I would like more information about the system emails, as it was not even possible to know it was sent out. So this issue was discovered much later than it should have been. 

Hi Team,Contacts from Child accounts are not showing up when trying to add them as External Attendee in an Activity.Example: ABC Tech is a parent of XYZ Tech. When we try creating an activity in XYZ Tech, I can see the person: “Shyam” there, this person is company person to XYZ Tech so he is showing in external attendee, this is expected, but while trying to do the same at parent level (for the company: ABC Tech), I am not able to see Shyam.Thank you.
