Hi there, lots of our end users have the following issue:If a user clicks on “reset password”, they will be told that “we emailed you password reset instructions” even if they inserted an email that is not registered. Instead, I would expect the message: “you are not registered to this community with this email address.”Why does it matter?We have 2 separate communities that look almost exactly the same (different language). On a daily basis, users will try to log in to the “wrong” community to which they have no account to. They login fails, and the error message says “wrong email and/or password”. So they assume their password is wrong, because they obviously think they are registered (but they are registered in the other community).So they click on “forgot password”, enter their email, and get the following message 

I would think it would be great if you could also use the segments to filter the content.We have a use case where this would be useful. For example, if you have customers with an SLA and who have promised a certain response time, you could use a hidden user profile field to set the SLA for the user. If you use this field to assign the user to a segment, you could simply filter the content for customers who require the fastest response time.

Hi there-Our users share code they host on GitHub. Rather than pasting only the URL into questions, conversations, and articles, it would be helpful to have the option of generating a preview to accompany the URL.I suggest GitHub as it’s my highest priority, but I see value in previewing links to community content, Salesforce/Zendesk KBs, Twitter, Reddit, or other non-community resources that users access.  Previews could be as simple as the way Slack previews links... But it would be more engaging if the preview contained additional data similar to LinkedIn’s previews. In the case of GitHub links, LinkedIn displays the contributors, issues, stars, and forks.  For other links, I see value in surfacing the title of the page, the author of the content and a star rating of the content if available. 

Currently if you click on a link to a CTA from a system generated email the link opens a new browser window outside of the console view.  We are using the Console view in Salesforce and this disrupts our workflow and common behaviors.  We would like to be able to have the system generated links retain the console view preference.

When creating a table visualization widget, the column filters row is always shown, even when you have a small dataset.Particularly when using the Limit option in Ranking and Sorting, there are times you may want to show a small dataset of say 5 records. In these situations, it is a waste of screen space to show these filters (and the total number of records bar at the bottom with the page switcher). It would make the use of table visualizations on dashboards and using small report widgets on the C360 Summary page a lot more flexible if we could optionally hide these visual elements where needed. 

I previously asked for tasks to be synchronised with Microsoft tasks, but as I have changed companies to an organisation that uses Google, I will ask for the same thing again, but for Google Workspace integration. I am working on the flow of taking rough notes with Google Keep, entering it into timeline and adding the action items which are reflected as a CTA for that meeting with tasks.It would be nice to have a two way sync for this and should work with both Microsoft and Google suites.It should also work for Gainsight NXT when integrated with Salesforce and not just for Gainsight NXT standalone.Thanks!Stavros  

We’d like the ability to link a CTA Status to Snooze so that when a user changes the status of the CTA to a value (e.g. Snooze or On Hold) that would automatically Snooze the CTA. As it stands, the Snooze option is completely independent from the Status which adds additional steps for a CTA owner wishing to provide a proper status while also keeping the CTA from cluttering the Cockpit.

Hello - Do you have any plans to implement a scorecard measure for Gainsight users?  Adoption is such a big part of being a Gainsight admin, and it would be amazing to set thresholds for users in a rules engine and use them to populate a scorecard.   Currently, we use reports and dashboards to leverage this, but I think there is high value in being able to leverage the power of scorecards. Some use case examples: Easy to track new hire Gainsight adoption. Create CTAs/Programs to end users and leadership if usage trends downwards. Create easy to digest reporting across the org for user adoption. New process/feature adoption metrics

I would love, at bare minimum, for the Activities log in Connectors 2.0 to display the Status ID for failed Bulk API jobs. Since the logs provide so little information on errors, providing the Status ID would be helpful in relaying to our own middleware solution to try and diagnose errors at the source.This is helpful for large organizations where Gainsight product owners do not own the transmission of data or the middlepoint software.

Some CSMs have expressed a desire to be able to create CTAs directly in the Gainsight Zoom app so that they can capture any risks/growth opportunities as they come up in conversation with the customer.

When a Dialog engagement is positioned on the bottom right, on pages that have a scroll bar, the engagement appears underneath the scroll. The scrollbar should be accounted for in position calculations or allow me to add extra buffer.

We quite often have the need to merge two tags that are synonyms, say we have a public tag “Rabbit” and we want to merge it to “Bunny”. 🐰There’s no way to find them in the search, so merging is rather difficult. Please make it possible to merge tags so that you can search for the other tag as well 😊Btw, we use renaming as a workaround… We first rename Rabbit to say Bunnyy and then merge them, but it could be way easier 😊

Our Salesforce integration uses Enhanced Email which utilized the Email Message object to store emails. We would like it so that emails from the Gainsight timeline are also created in Salesforce as a record of the Email Message object. Under Timeline Activity settings, I only see options for syncing emails as tasks/events. In the future Salesforce will begin to utilize the email message object and not tasks/events for logging emails. Can we get a way to sync our emails from Gainsight to Salesforce as an email message record?

It would be nice to have SEO settings for Ideation. It would help us with SEO if there were same settings for Ideation as there is for categories (Platform > Community > Edit category > SEO Settings: SEO Title, SEO Description, Meta Robots).

Currently, clicking on Objectives or Tasks in the Gantt Chart of a Success Plan does nothing. This is counter-intuitive, as Gantt is the most convenient way for people to review the task list, and it would be extremely convenient that they could click on them to view more information.

Posting on Behalf of customer:When we use the key words to search in the KC Bot with Google Search enabled, we currently get results that are quite similar to those we get from a Google web search. But due to Google's API restrictions/limitations, we occasionally fail to find a few specific articles in bot search results that would otherwise be available when searched on the web.It would be great if we could improve this behaviour and consistently get the same results as we do when using Google's web search.

You are able to share Objectives that are Externally Shared (Enable Sharing with People) via the Success Plan share option so that the customer can access it on their own end.But what do you do when you want to jump into a call with the customer and introduce them to these objectives, or go through the progress? The only thing you can do it seems, is ask the customer to open the link themselves and then to share their screen. This is bad as CSM should be leading the conversation and showing examples at all times.A natural ideal solution would be that the Account Owner / CSM could access a view that only displays Goals that are externally shared. Then they could share their screen with the customer and go through the plan without sharing any additional internal tasks that may also be in the plan.Currently there doesn’t seem to be any way to do this, as you cannot define custom objective (and Gantt Chart) views from admin side, nor adjust filters from the user sid

Currently when building a Program, we are able to select if a Participant with the same email address can enter once in e.g. 90 days. In some cases this is not sufficient as a criteria. Example: An external consultant / partner works for multiple customers & he should be notified when these customers are close to their seat limit.If I select “Participant with same email address can enter once in 90 days”, the consultant will be informed for one customer, but if the next customer reaches their limit within the next 90 days, he won’t be notified. If I don’t tick this box, he’ll be notified for the same customer every single day.As a workaround, I currently have to add the AO Participants in the query while building the Program. Ideally, this could be avoided by having a checkbox “Participant with same unique criteria can enter once in X days”.

The Home page allows AND OR logic when filtering but this is not currently possible on Dashboards. Can the product team please provide a statement whether or not this could be on the roadmap?

When using Gainsight App for Zoom and log a Timeline Entry with multiple attendees from multiple Companies ( lets assume those attendees have been added as contacts in Person/Company Person objects), there is only ONE timeline entry logged with multiple attendees. However, when we query the Activity Attendee Object, ONLY 1 external attendee is shown/derived and the rest are not. We need to expose email_address from our database to the Timeline UI and then the GS Admins will be able to see all necessary data to follow up with all Zoom attendees from Gainsight, e.g. send them a survey.  

The date chooser starts the week with Sunday, however in Europe the week is considered to start with Monday. It’s easy to make a mistake for someone that is not used to this view. It would be great to have a personal setting where you can choose which day one considers the first of the week. 

I love Data Designer. It would be even awesomer if when I built out the dataset that it just makes and saves an all fields report. I create that report every single time I make a data design and it would be nice to just get that for free.

We’re big fans of the search API for facilitating federated search (our case study). Here’s an idea for really taking this to the next level. In the same way that search indexes the results from the API, it’d be great if the Related Topics functionality can index those results as well.Examples:  Maybe there’s a training course on that topic from Skilljar or something added via the API We have pre-built templates in our marketplace that we index, it’d be great to drive traffic to those, rather than questions about how to build similar functinality ROI: deflects unnecessary questions/ideas for content available in searc
