Color scheme for Statistics Bar

Error page when posting an idea on Inspired

I just wrote a post to suggest an idea and after submitting the idea I got this message. Not sure why this has happened, can my idea be retrieved somehow?

Issue with posting new content directs to Page Not Found

When a user posts a new question/idea they see this Page Not Found until they refresh to see their post. It’s a confusing user experience for them because they think their post didn’t save. Is this something I need to fix in configuration, or a known bug?  I search the community but didn’t see another post about this.

Thumbnail isn't displaying on category cards

I’m setting up a new InSided community and having a wee bit of trouble with category thumbnail icons. Specifically, they’re missing: All four of those topics have a thumbnail set up, and I’ve dug into every setting I can find to see if something would be making them vanish.  There’s no custom css that interacts with them, either. I’ve re-uploaded them, made sure to hammer “Save” on both the category page and the “Community” configuration page, cleared my cache, the works.  Have I just misunderstood how icons are used, or is something wrong here?

Is there a way to set WYSIWYG hyperlinks to default to open in a new tab?

When a community member includes a hyperlink in a topic from the WYSIWYG text editor, is there a way for that to default to open in a new tab?

Data Designer opy into refreshed sandbox

Currently in Gainsight NXT when you refresh your sandbox from prod, the data desginer designs do not copy over from prod. While Gainsight can do this with the help of our TechOps team, the request is that this be done automatically to make the refresh process more streamlined.

Data Designer - merge data of what success plan template is in use

I am trying to use Data Designer to merge the Cockpit Associated Records object with our Success Plan data to display what Success Plan Template is being used for each Success Plan. When I select the Cockpit Associated Records, I’m not seeing anywhere to select what object I’d like to resolve to. Not sure if I’m missing it or if this can only be done via rules engine today. (Or if there’s an easier way to link this data that I haven’t thought of!)

Program Snapshot and Activity Feed View Do Not Accurately Reflect State of CTA Step

I just realized that many of my programs show successful CTA creation in both the snapshot view and the activity feed when they have actually been failing. The only way to know that a CTA failed to be created is by seeing a contact with a dropped status in the participant list and viewing the reason, or by clicking into the created step in the activity feed. Makes it kind of hard to know whether or not your program is executing successfully and as expected.

Can we accurately get the data of custom fields in AO Participant custom fields object as per their order in the source configuration?

Owner Field options not populating in Rule to create CTA

I’m creating aJourney Orchestrator to send a CSAT post onboarding to our customers. At the end of the journey, I’ve created a CTA to let onboarding managers to send manually the CSAT if customers did not respond. I’ve an issue with the owner field of the CTA: nothing is populated. I can’t select anything. Can you help me with this? Thank you

Use PX survey to collect feedback on help topics?

Hi,is there a way to use a PX survey to collect feedback on help topics, like you see it for example in Microsoft help and on Gainsight help topics? It should appear embedded at the end of every help topic and allow to add a comment if a user isn’t satisfied. Or, if this isn’t possible, appear when a customer clicks on a feedback button.Has anyone implemented such a system using Gainsight PX?I would be grateful for any examples, suggestions, ….Susanne

Is it possible to track individual clicks on a link?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is any functionality to track an individual’s link clicks. To my knowledge, there are multiple services that offer link tracking, which provide information on how many times a link has been opened (and categorizes this information by city, type of device, etc.).I’m running a campaign that sends out a link every 2-3 days. I’m wondering if it would be possible to track individuals and assess their level of engagement throughout the campaign, without having to create unique links for each individual -- i.e. is it possible to send out one link but track link clicks associated with individuals across time? Just to clarify, there would be no need to identify individuals in any way. We would only like to be able to measure the percentage of times that an individual clicked on the links throughout the campaign, rather than view link clicks on a URL as a whole. Thank you so much!Best,Grace

How to change date format in Success Snapshot

Hi all,I’ve created some Success Snapshots (Gainsight NXT) but didn’t find a way to change the date format. I would like to show it in the European format DD-MM-YY and without hours, minutes and seconds.Where can I make this change? In the configuration setup I didn’t find this option, and anyway the Success Plans are setup with European format.Thanks Cheers,Ester

Replies per topic

Hi there, I want to reduce the number of replies per page from 25 to perhaps 10 or 15 - assume this is possible from the control area but can’t find it. One of the problems we have is topics with 25 replies that contain media. It can take a long time for the whole thread to load. Thanks in advance! cc @liz-typeform

What more we can do in JO to Increase Survey Response

Hi All! Hope all is well with everybody! I am reaching out to you for some insights on Survey and Journey Orchestrator. I am using the NPS Survey Program by Equifax readily available in Gainisight’s Sightline Vault to distribute an Inline NPS Survey for one of my customers. It has a Heads -Up Email before and a Reminder Email after the survey email. Other than these Heads up email and Reminder email, is there anyway to make the survey stand out that will increase survey response? The customer I am working with used Hubspot for their survey previously. There is a chat bot option in Hubspot that generates automated conversation with their client regarding the survey which in turn increases the survey response. Is there anything we can do in Gainsight's JO that would make the survey more attention-worthy? Is it possible to include Sally in JO? Any other ideas? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated! Kind regards,Tee

Gamification: Leveraging badges to unlock content

Hi there,Is it currently possible to use earned badges as “keys” to unlock certain material (trainings/posts/etc)? We have a broad Superuser group, but would like to add in leveling (via badge perhaps) which would grant these folks additional access to desired material/opportunities. TY!

Can you automate ranks or user roles via the API?

Here’s what I’d like to do: auto-assign a custom rank to users based on a property in our CRM (company affiliation)For example, if I wanted everyone from Insided to have the rank of “Insided Team,” then I’d want any net new user with an @insided.com email address (or affiliation to Insidedin our CRM) to be assigned this Rank via the API. Alternatively: Automating a custom user role would be a viable solution (as you can automate ranks based on certain user roles.) Is there a path for me to do this? Has anyone else done something similar? I’m out of my technical depth when it comes to APIs, but I’m trying to do my homework before requesting this from my IT team.

Edits to "Code" in article editor not saved?

We need to do some HTML edits to our articles, but anytime we edit the article via "Code" in the editor, the changes are not saved. How to save them? Thank you!

Looking for some insights into how people are using Google Analytics with Gainsight

We use Google Analytics for our high level product analytics and had this set up to come into Gainsight. It stopped working some time back and I understand that there were some wider issues with Google that Gainsight we’re working on (that are still in progress). Was looking to see from the community how other people are using Google Analytics with Gainsight and what insights and tips etc they could share.

C360 Layout Assignments - enable the use of "AND"

While the ability to assign different C360 layouts is great, it would be even better if we could use "AND" not just "OR".  We have situations where we want to assign a layout based on Role (all good) but then ALSO by other account attributes.  Right now we only have an option of role OR attribute.  So certain accounts have sections in the C360 that do not apply to them (product based) but clutter up the nav list.

Opening rich topic cards in a new tab

Currently, rich topic cards cannot be made to open in a new tab as they are injected into the page after the page has already loaded, meaning that they don't actually exist yet on the page at the time of when third party scripts are being applied to the community. My wish is to allow users when clicking on a rich topic card’s internal community link to have it open in a new tab.

If a topic is moved into a new category will gamification rules apply?

I see that I can set badges based on X number of topics in X category … will those rules apply if a topic is created in one location but then moved to a new location? Use case: we’ll have many of our our community members contributing to our knowledge base. To have them set as the author, we’ll be using a work around where they post in one space/group and then move that post into the KB on the backend. If we’re using that workflow, will I be able to set badges based on X number of topics in a Knowledge Base category? Or does the gamification default to where the topic is originally created?

Is it possible to change the name for embeddable widget?

I have adjusted the settings of the embedding widget. From button to floathing, because hardly anyone knew the button was there and referred to the community. Floating is better my opinion better because it’s more visible! But I don't know how to change the default 'help' text to something else... Is that possible?I am also curious if I can change the number of topics shown, with the newest topics regarding a specific subject first.
