Allow a user to filter ideas to ones they have submitted. Goal would be that a user has a simple way to view Ideas they have submitted (by not having to go to their profile and scroll through all posts). Would also be great if there was a filter to “my organization” so they could view ideas submitted by their organization.
We would like the ability to filter email variants within an Email step based on Calculated Fields. We have a need to send variations based on certain actions taken by the customer which updates data from SFDC. In order to account for these variations, we need to create an email chain with multiple Conditional Waits/branches (using the same Calculated Fields) and send accordingly (multiple email steps). We'd like to just have one Email step and have the filtering based off of Calculated Fields take place all within one step.
The Known Issues Tracker is great! I see that notifications for known issues is something being considered as an enhancement. I’d also like to be able to subscribe to the product(s) I use.Benefit for Gainsight:Ticket deflection and efficiency. I imagine that’s part of the benefit of the KIT, but the current state requires that a user 1.) is aware of the KIT / remembers it exists, and 2.) proactively checks the KIT before submitting a support ticket, asking a question, contact their CSM, etc. Benefit for Admins:Proactive alerts and awareness of known issues. Allows us to consider mitigation if necessary. Or at least saves us the time of investigating or troubleshooting issues.
Staircase Admins should have the ability to reparent incorrectly associated Insights to the correct account if needed. Our Use Case - our customers frequently work with partners, and one of the partner emails was incorrectly associated with a customer. As an admin, I’d like to be able to go into that insight and move it to the correct account instead.
It took some experimentation to determine that the Boolean field named "Report Types” actually means “If true, this is a report marked as Quick Insight": The inconsistent naming makes the system less intuitive. Compounding this, the current documentation (https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/Reports_and_Dashboards/About/Reports_and_Dashboards_New_Functionalities_and_Improvements_(Horizon_Experience),https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/AI_Bot/Sally/Sally_for_Slack/Admin_Guides/Mark_Reports_as_Quick_Insights), does not mention the "Report Types" filter either: Bottom line: even if updating the docs takes time, having consistent names would be a big win for making things more intuitive and less of a guessing game for us users.
Edit Token Properties search and picker is almost unusable. We are building several playbooks right now and mapping default tokens, or mapping tokens in the playbook takes way too much time and is not intuitive.Idea: Eliminate the arrows in the lookup hierarchy and allow us to use something reasonable in search like a backslash or colon.i.e. If I want to use Relationship: Name - let me type that “Relationship: Name”or “Company: Company Person: Person ID: Name” Currently: You can search on one layer of object or field names, but not multiple. So if I put in “Name” it will show me every Name on all connected objects, which can be many. The sort order on fields seems to be very strange - where the deepest # of lookups appears first, (maybe?) but then a field on the main object, might be tucked in the middle of the options.Image below - if I search on Name - this sort order is not intuitive - and I have to just keep scrolling to find the field I want. For me - Relationship Name is used a lot as a token - why would it appear here in the picklist?
Hi Gainsight CC team,It would be great if you can add more gamification options without just being limited to Ranks, Badges and Points. FYI @olimarrio
If you have observed that you were not able to use mass update, under action 'Status', 'Priority' or 'Reason' (Options Greyed out)? All you have to do to overcome this challenge is to add a filter "Entitytype" and select either 'ACCOUNT' or 'RELATIONSHIP' and click on apply. This will allow you to perform the mass edit under any action.
We need the option to allow specific domains to be configured to multiple accounts within Staircase. This is the current error message we receive when trying to do so: Use case: As I’m sure most Gainsight customers will have, we have customers with multiple company records (i.e. sites/locations within a global entity) and so there will be contact records that span multiple company records along with it--this is precisely what the differentiation between the Person and Company Person record is intended for in Gainsight.Staircase doesn’t handle this type of situation well today, because it has to have unique domains linked to an account record, they cannot be shared. This causes the following issues for us:It may be incorrectly associating communications to the wrong account, or just not linking them to the correct one in Staircase, and This causes AI summaries from Staircase to be not posted to the correct Timeline in Gainsight (or missing from the correct one) Gainsight Healthscore dependencies on Timeline/Engagement data is then also not properly representing the meetings CSMs are havingIdeally we would be able to associate domains to multiple account records in Staircase, and have the timeline entries be linked using the “associated records” feature, to all applicable Company Records in Gainsight so that timeline is updated across all relevant accounts.
At this time, the CS-PX connector does not support sending email notifications or alerts for sync jobs (Tracked Account, Tracked User...). While this data is highly important for us, it typically takes a couple of days until sync job failures are noticed. Please provide a way for an admin to be notified when sync jobs fail.
There is SO much white, wasted space in the knowlegebase interface. AND, if we hide the right side-bar (like hiding Related Topics) why doesn't the article content EXPAND into THAT unused space? On the left, you could have the Table of Contents ALWAYS visible and then use all that wasted space on the right for content. Less scrolling! YAY
This should be a no-brainer. There should be a site-wide setting to disable Replies. I shouldn’t have to edit every single category, one at a time.
There should be a mechanism to mass update Categories’ rights. Going into over 100 categories to remove the “Replies” function for non-registered users is a NIGHTMARE.
We store all our image files for our knowledgebase in GoogleBucket, this way, when we need to update a graphic that is used in multiple articles/topics, we simply need to upload an updated graphic to Google and every article where it is used updates automatically. The current workflow for inserting an image into an article/topic only allows for uploading to Gainsight, it would be great if we didn’t have to manually insert HTML code into the source code to point to an external image.Example of Confluence’s Insert Image widget...
It’s absolutely maddening that there are multiple “views” for Articles (Overview and Content Type) and some functions are on one view some on the other. This is the dumbest and most confusing design. There should be ONE Article list with ALL options on it. Same for everything else in this platform, ONE Users list, etc.AND, how about a view where I can see my Categories AND the articles in them so I can drag-drop articles from one Category to another and/or see a full overview of my kbase?
It would be nice if our end users could edit fields in GS and they could be pushed back to JIRA via the rules engine. I am thinking fields like status, custom fields, or assignee or reporter. Similar to how we can update SFDC fields in GS.We unfortunately were very lucky and embedded the JIRA UI into GS when it was working due to a bug. JIRA has since patched the bug and it’s a huge pain point for our end users that they can’t interact with JIRA via GS.
Hi,for higher usability it would be nice to have a filter in the cockpit to filter out Tasks that are done. Today only the complete CTA can be filtered.
Hello Team,One of the customers has been heavily relying on the user and stakeholder multithreading scores in the Gainsight health scorecard. However, they have discovered that the Staircase system treats users as actively engaged even if they only approve a meeting series but never attend or leave the organization. Additionally, users may be counted as engaged if they are part of an email distribution list, even if they never respond to or send any emails. It would be better to use call attendance when available instead of calendar acceptance.
When you are working in the mini 360, it would be a ton more helpful to punch out to the full 360 when you click on client name in the bread crumbs menu. For example, when I’m working in Timeline, i see “C followed by client name” if I click on that, I would rather have a new tab open up with the full C360. Right now it just takes me back to mini 360 Summary page behind the open Timeline. Useless. Here’s another example of me working in mini 360--Success Plan. It would be MUCH BETTER if when clicking on the client’s name in the bread crumbs it would create a new tab and drop us into the full C360.
