Hej  Gainsight community, I am surprised that I cannot us a MIN or MAX aggregation on date fields when using the report builder.  Maybe I am just unable to find out how it actually works, or no one else needs such a aggregation on data fields when building reports & dashboards. But I would really appreciate to have such an option. Please, dear GainSight peeps let me know if there is a work around or, in case this is really not possible, if you have planed to add this function. Best regards, Max

Earlier when we get the huge sized files from S3 connectors, the data processing through rules become too slow and for time being the files were manually splitted up. So current idea is to create a File splitter option in connector to automate the splitting process based on our requirement. 

Hi, It would be nice to have the ability to pause a rule from running in order to give priority to other rules that are more important. For example if I'm working on something and I need the results right now, but a scheduled rule takes priority, I'd like to have the ability to switch their order. Thanks, Lucian

At some point in the future it might be nice to have the ability to create a custom view to include CTA's and Timeline in the same view. It would allow you to update CTA's and timeline entries at the same time.

Hi There, One of the customer is facing an issue where on the dashboard page it shows full Legend list which is 10 but when exported it shows 8, due to size of PPT . Can be have the abilty atleast to pull the data which is shown on the dashboard?

Hey everyone, In Data management, under Gainsight Data objects, where we have tee entire list of objects with a few attribute fields, it would be useful to see the number of records as well. Use case: since there's no delete functionality available for admins, we find ourselves manually "refreshing" objects on a regular basis and it's easy to lose track of what you've already deleted when there are a lot of them. Does anyone else feel the need for this? Thanks, Lucian

I just took a look and we have 140 data objects and growing. While it is usually fairly easy to find the object I’m looking for, I’d love to be able to organize the objects by whether they were system generated, what report/dashboard they’re feeding into, etc. as ultimately I’d like to keep our structure tidy and get rid of those objects we’re not using anymore (and pause those connectors/rules.) Having them in folders would facilitate these efforts. 

Would be great if the information in reports was centered instead of aligned left.  We’re having some confusion due to the left alignment.   

One of my CSMs asked a great question about having the ability to get a notification if someone posts a comment on their Timeline entry. This would be helpful in collaboration (without having to @mention someone). I thought this would be a great idea to suggest.

Can we have a more descriptive error message when exports fails due to number of records more than 100K.? Currently we get something like this - Your request to export "XXX AI AA Usage Detail" report failed due to the following reason(s) : Invalid report details to export

Testing out the Timeline Comments (which our CSMs are going to love BTW) but I noticed that when you tag someone, the email shows up as if it was from whomever created the original Timeline activity, yet the Subject includes the name of the person who actually tagged the user. More of a nuisance than anything, but it is a bit misleading. In the example above, Andrea may have no idea that Grace tagged someone. Also, Andrea doesn't work for Gainsight, which is how that reads. Can it be modified to either A) be FROM the person who tagged the user OR 😎 be FROM "Timeline (Gainsight)" <noreply@gainsight.com>

I was told Gainsight relies on the name field to search and link objects to CTAs. Since there is not a name field on the case object, this object can't be linked. I need to be able to link this object to CTAs, though!

Can the associate a record to a CTA after the CTA was already initially created? Use case: a record is created in a 'churn object' in Salesforce when a risk CTA is manually created. We want to associate this churn object back to the risk CTA as a linked object. Is it possible?

Hi, In Rules Enginee we have an option called “Send a copy to Rule Results”  and we enter the email address here. Results will be email to the given email address. Similar to Rules Engine could we have same option in Report Builder while exporting more than 2000 records?? This saves lot of time(we no need to wait for the user/customer to forward the email).

 Currently when you go to preview and sharea dashboard, if notes are added it removes any formatting what so ever.  It would be nice if sharing dashboards would respect the formatting put in by customers.  When sending What is recieved    

On the webinar for Data Designer, Rakesh did a fabulous job demonstrating 2 common use cases for taking advantage of this new powerful tool.  I couldn’t help but wonder, if these are common to most clients, shouldn’t it be even similar to take advantage of those final configurations?  My recommendation for a future release is the most common use cases be pre-built so the Admins can just point and click to select that particular use case.  An example, is CTA with most recent Timeline activity report, which is built using only standard Gainsight objects.  Once selected, the admin could clone and make adjustments if needed, but is not starting from scratch building the data space.  We have a similar feature for reports using Vault today. 

Posting on behalf of a customer. Currently when sending out a program if you use a token in the email and it’s null it won’t send the email out. In the future it would be nice to have the ability to ignore this functionality and send the email regardless.

Create the functionality whereby clicking on a public tag returns a page populated with topics that have said tag.   And here’s the backstory, the reason I make this request: A recurring point of frustration for me is that I cannot easily bring up a list of all topics containing the same public tag (in the control and in the front-end). Tags are factored into which topics are surfaced in search results but they are so far down the algorithm’s hierarchy that very rarely contribute to the surfacing of a topic in search results if I search for that specific tag. This feels very non-intuitive to me.  In our community, we give certain topics the same public tag(s) if they belong to a series of topics of the same type. For example, I do a “course of the week” post and use the “course of the week” tag to identify those posts. But this is what comes up if I search for “course of the week” – and none of the 31 topics with this tag are surfaced on the first page of results. Recently a community

From our Support manager: As you might know, when a client comes onboard, we have to set up a client manually in Zendesk as an organization. In setting up the organization, we set up the organization name and email domain(s) the client comes from to match what is in Salesforce for that particular account. This will generally allow integrations to work with SFDC and Gainsight.Regarding our Gainsight widget, unfortunately, the system will not allow me to make a connection to the same account in Gainsight until the client puts in a ticket. Once that happens it will show a box like below to connect to, and then it will show the info we need for potential escalation.The problem we face is the team may be unsure about clicking this to confirm the account if the client ticket comes in at off hours, especially if there are other potential matches to connect to. Because of this, the team will have to escalate to myself or someone at Tier 2 to validate, and it may delay resolution to an issue.Ca

Hi Team, yes, actually I was looking for a way to be able to share reports that I have created in Gainsight PX with other members of my team, especially as the pre-defined reports are not possible to be filtered!!

I have 3 programs running where a customer is being excluded if they have been emailed within the last 30 days. If not and they fit the other criteria they are put into a program. Each Customer can only enter each program 1/year.I scheduled (when I hit publish at a later date) all 3 of these programs to run Tuesday mornings but I cannot seem to see the time I previously set for them to publish. I can only go into the source and see when the Participants list should refresh. Is this were I would control when future participants are put into the program and receive the first email?Is there a place I can view a calendar of scheduled programs? (When New participants will receive the first email in the chain)Do I need to ensure that the subsequent programs sync after the previous program has synced and sent to make sure the filter (do not send if they have been emailed within 30 days) is pulling in the most recent sent data from the previous program? I want to avoid having customers getting

Would love to be at to @ Mention folks in the comments of a Task within a CTA. Ex. Manager assigned a CTA task to a CSM stating "Does this customer have Journey Orchestrator" - It would be great if I could just in the comments say " @ Mention (insert Manager name or whoever) yes this customer is using Journey Orchestrator. Then just close out the task and CTA
