I was working with a customer who was trying to add a custom field to a CTA, and this field had a lookup to the Account object. The customer was not able to modify the field to be editable, it was and stayed a read only field. This would not work for the customers use case because this field was meant to be manually editable in order to add partner account information into the CTA. I was able to enlist the help of Wayne Baker/Gainsight TA, and we tried a few things, then he suggested we try this as a linked object instead of an account lookup. In the end, the account linked object would not work. I consulted L2 Support on this and they confirmed that this appears to be a product limitation. The customers SA Scott Drost is still investigating a possible workaround, but in the meantime I figured that it would be helpful to put this in as a product enhancement. 

For basic NPS surveys that only have the 1 NPS question, it would be wonderful if we could just embed that one question into the CoPilot email template rather than a button linking to the survey that just has the one question. This would increase response rate exponentially!

Hi all, At this moment there is only one option for automated topic suggestions for the widget. (I think it is bases on the subjects line or URL of the webpage the widget is placed on?) I think it would be nice to expand and improve the automatic topic suggestions with other options: Show topics from: a specific category Show topics from: a specific label Show topics from: a specific moderator tag Show topics from: a specific word in title possibility to exclude specific topics What do you guys think about this? Does anybody have got other suggestions?

If a user has a "Customer Success Manager" user lookup field as well as a "Customer Success Manager Name" formula field on the Account object, we'll get two different "Customer Success Manager Name" field options when using report builder and rules engine. Without actually adding the fields in and checking the data, we've got no way to determine which field is which, and can cause confusion when building rules/reports. I'm wondering if there's anything on the road map to change the display name as it shows throughout Gainsight? Currently we can change the name that a field displays as in report builder but it only impacts that single report. What I'm envisioning is a similar change, but actually changes the way that the field is displayed any time Gainsight tried to fetch it.

It seems that once a Program is active the participant filters lock and you clone it to make changes.  That makes sense but I can't view what is included in the active version for some filters and have to clone it to see what is selected in the existing version for fields where more than 1 options is chosen.  If possible, it would be nice to see the options selected for each filter instead of '2 selected' and the details being hidden.  As is now I need to clone the program and then remember to delete it. I tried in 2 browsers and got the 'no' indicator for viewing in both.  Maybe it's just my experience having the view block? Thanks! LM

Hi, I have a customer that is looking to create a dashboard that will be scheduled to be emailed on a weekly basis to a large group of users. Is there a way to have the email sent to an email alias or distribution list instead of a list of individual users? This is especially important when individuals join or leave the company, as the list of recipients would be managed by the alias list instead of manually updating each named user. Thanks!

It would be nice if we could permanently add tokens/fields to a Power List so our CSM's don't have to add the same five fields every time.

I have ran into a limit of 10 total timeline types, between custom and default.  Is there any reason why this limit exists? In my case, even though some of the default types are inactive, they still count against the 10. Are we planning to change this? 

I've had some discussions with a few customers surrounding the new G360 feature.  So far the feedback has been great but I have had one request that I thought I'd post here. The customer is hoping for the ability to edit the reports in the G360.  The specific use case here is the hope that they can edit the report to look back 12 months instead of the 3 months that we currently provide. I understand that we own this data rather than have it living in the customer's org, but I'm curious to know if we may ever provide the ability for a customer to access the data on the fly for their own person uses? Thanks

Now, you can apply the Once in a Lifetime only for a given Action in the Rule. It would be really helpful if it could be also applied for the whole rule = all the Actions under that Rule.

Hi, I embedded a YouTube video into our topic but at end it displayed other suggested video, which I do not want to display as their are not our videos. In my document program we can suppress these. Is that something you may would considering implementing? Thanks, Claudia

On-behalf of Customer: To be able to add decimal places in numeric MDA fields.  

On the S3 config screen, you can reset the credentials.  However, if this is done, there is no way for a Gainsight admin to know who did this and when.  Not that it changes the fact that it was done, but it would be nice to be able to pinpoint the source and make sure it doesn't happen again.

It’s more of a bug than a feature, but I’ll add it as an idea anyway because I'm often referred here by support. If you copy paste text into a long message, for some reason the editor sends you to the top of the post. Very frustrating. If you press ‘space’ or another key, you’re sent back to where you were. Can this quirk be ironed out?

I often click the insert link button and then paste my link. That doesn’t work, because the cursor doesn’t go there. Perhaps this feature could be added.

Right now, if you move some posts, you go to the topic you’re moving the posts to. This is incredibly confusing, cumbersome and frustrating. I think someone else requested this before, but I can’t find it back.

Currently, I have a request from a user to make picklist fields easier. Currently you have to go in and create the field, define the values and then sync over with Connect.  In this example they have a "country" pick list.... The user doesn't want to manually key in each country in the list. What would be helpful is either to allow in one step for a user to create the fields and the values and/or offer standardized picklist. For example SFDC appears to have a picklist which holds all the countries in it.... if we could provide parity there it would prevent them from manually keying in all these countries. 

Great idea to provide a dashboard like Survey Analytics to deliver an at-a-glance view of how we are doing in the UI. In a desire to use it to benchmark our performance over time, I studied the analytics in it and have the following comments/enhancement requests: - It includes everything that was ever run with Program (Advanced Outreach)   it would be nice to be able to select a date range so we can do yty comparisons for example - It includes even deleted program statistics   by running a report from the AO Analytics table, I am able to see that the # of programs,   the number of email sent and opens are the total of every program we ever ran including those   from deleted AOs. I am concerned because we drive a large number of test runs before   we go in production. The numbers from our testing impact the overall numbers here.    Would it not make sense to show the numbers for AOs in existence only? Or offer the choice? - Which table doe

It would be really helpful to add Open and CTO stats to the Program Activity view. In an email chain, I would like to see: Are open rates dropping off? Is there an email in the chain that gets better CTO? more comparative numbers would be really great in this view. Thanks, Elizabeth

When setting up Outreaches, I would like to include my CSM's unique Email To Salesforce email address in the Copy To section so that we can track our automated outreaches in SFDC Activity History. I was told that it is not possible because of the email format generated by SFDC (ex: emailtosalesforce@u-3vv5gzfcqzkb0kfc0wk0941r0.3-zxyeay.na3.le.salesforce.com) Use case: our CSMs BCC all emails to SFDC for the benefit of our sales counterparts who do not use Gainsight. I would like to track all emails, especially if the client does not respond. 

Currently, no search results appear in this case and one needs to check and remove the spaces in order to get results.

Hey, we do have plans to make drafts available in the Control environment. Soon we'll start investigating the needs and wants as well as the technical impact needed for this. It would be great if we can get more use cases for drafting articles on this topic! So if you have some use cases where draft articles may come in handy let us know.

Like we have "Dependencies" section for a MDA object. It will be really helpful if you can add a section for "Data Source", which says how the MDA object is being populated (by rule or imported data or connectors, etc). This will help users(other then the creator of the MDA object to understand it better. 

I need to send a survey to a very specific subset of customers based off either account ID or contact ID.  I can't replicate this list in a powerlist, so I uploaded a CSV to the survey itself.   The problem I am now running into is it appears that I can only send the survey using a Salesforce email template.  I want to maintain the same look and feel of Co-Pilot emails. Has any one else run into this and found a solution?

Currently if you have dates that are in the future and you select "group by" month/quarter/year, etc., it doesn't show future dates regardless of chart type. If you want to show future dates, you cannot group the dates.
