How can you use the embeddable widget in Zendesk?

Our organization uses Zendesk for support and for our knowledgebase (Zendesk Guide). We are leveraging the federated search and ticket escalation integrations between inSided and Zendesk. We have another use case for an integration that I am hoping will be possible. We want our support reps to share relevant community content in tickets whenever possible. Rather than having the support team search our community separately from Zendesk when they’re working on a ticket, I thought it would be great to add the inSided embeddable widget directly to our Zendesk agent portal. My idea is that the embeddable widget would live directly on the page where the support agent is working on a ticket. Based on the information in that ticket, relevant community posts would populate in the embeddable widget, recommending content for the support rep to link within the ticket to help the customer. Is anyone doing this successfully? I would appreciate guidance from someone on how to set this up in Zendesk.

Restructuring Content

Greetings!I was wondering if anyone here has gone through a content restructure in your community? Long story short, in about a month we will be changing our site structure so some of the content will need to be moved to a new location. All the content will be moved on the same day, but I’d like to set it up so it is seamless on restructure day.I was thinking I would give each post needing to be moved a Moderator Tag to easily filter on restructure day, then leave an internal note with where it needs to go. But I don’t know if that is the best way to approach it so I’d love some ideas from y’all if you have them.Thank you!

Saving draft product update or articles

Is anyone else having an issue when you save an Article or Product Update and the draft includes a link to another article in the nice-looking preview format -- and then when you go back to the draft, the preview format is gone and you just see the URL to the article?

Editing permissions for primary roles

Not sure if I am missing something but is there a way to edit the permissions of some primary roles?  I would like to give the permission to registered users to edit their posts for 60 mins after posting, as we can do for custom roles. Is this possible?

Topic view with mobile and ranks, why they are hidden?

As you know people are using mobile the most. So UX with mobile should be prio 1.Based on that why ranks are hidden from topic view when using mobile?This is problem when it is important to know who is employee. Rank icon and icon next to avatar are way too small. There should be more powerfull way to identify the employees.

Reduced support over the holiday period

Enabling automatic registration option for SSO

We are trying to turn on the automatic registration option for SSO. However we cannot find where exactly we can enable it. To be clear, we have successfully enabled Token JWT SSO. Can anyone provide any insight?

Point system ranks issue

Hi there! I just adjusted my ranking system and created 3 new categories for points. There are 3 different levels and the first you need a minimum of 10 points, the second you need a minimum of 100, third is 200, and 4th is 300… when I rebuilt the ranking, everyone was allotted the category that says “minimum 10 points”… Even if they have over 300 points… Do you know how I can fix this? Or ensure they aren’t just automatically receiving the first level associated to the lowest point category?Thank you!

Is there a form that shows a list of our ideas with the statues? I exported by topic, sorted on idea, but status all says new/blank.

Custom search banner to say Welcome @username or @first name

Has anyone created a script or snippet of code to customize their search banner?I’d like to do something that says Welcome @First Name or Welcome @username and it pulls the first name or user name from their registration information.

Issues with formatting copy

I’m having an issue where the text that I type into the control WYSIWYG cannot be formatted without formatting the rest of my copy. I’m not copying and pasting this text, it’s been typed straight into the Control text box. For example, if I have three separate lines, select one of them, and then choose Large Heading the WYSIWYG will apply that formatting to my entire copy. Is there a way around this? I’ve tried with copy and pasting text from Google Docs but am still having the same results. Also tried clearing out my cache, trying it on another device, and in an incognito window for good measure.

How many user participated in certain topic?

For example, how many individual user commented certain topic in given timeframe, and how many individual user liked and so on.Is this possible somehow? I cant find anything related with this from Analytics.

Preferred search

We have archive category and because it has lots of content search displays many times content from archive first and newest content is in the bottom.I know we can hide archive from search but I dont want to hide totally, I want that search displays newest content first.Is there way to adjust search in that way?

Ideas do not show up in Ideation page

I configured a Community category of type Ideation. I’ve submitted two ideas into this category.  However, the Ideas content type in the admin panel and the Ideas module landing page viewable to the public both indicate that there are 0 ideas in the community. Why might this be?

custom roles and profile fields

Hi,we would like our users to fill out the "Your Role in the Community" profile field “Profil” when registering. This is defined as a mandatory field. Unfortunately, it is not adopted accordingly in the custom roles (user overview).Is there a solution for this. We don't want to assign custom roles to every new user manually.   Thank you in advanceCathleen

Turn Off Upvotes

When you merge ideas, I find that the previous idea has no way of turning off the upvote function. Even when closing the topic, it only turns off the comments, not the upvote feature.  Can I disable or turn off the upvotes for a topic after merging?

Featured topics -widget and measuring the amount of clicks

We have Featured topics and Quick links widgets in our front page. I can add Google Analytics tracking code to the Quick links but not to the Featured topics.Is there any workaround, to measure how many click links gets? To know what links (widgets) are helpful to the users.

Can community have multiple roles?

As we know community can have several different roles, but is it possible that community have multible roles at the same time? Can community be effective if it has multible roles?This is just example but can the (p2p) support community be effective if you want to gather new customers the same time?Or is this something that community can have multible roles but then you need bigger team?Does your community have multible roles and if so what roles it has?

Productboard integration doesn't support quoted content

Not sure if this is a bug or working as designed, but the Productboard integration when pushing to Productboard doesn’t allow for the body of the text to be edited if the body contains quoted text from prior threads. You can’t even delete it and replace with other text. cc: @daniel.boon
