How can I edit the introductions bar widget?

Hi there!Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as I’m looking to edit our introductions bar widget. I read an article that mentioned you can edit them in the background underneath the “phrases” section but I can’t find it anywhere.Screenshot below of our current introduction bar. I want to update the value props and rather end it with the CTA: Ask your question - I’d like to update it to “Join the community”. Any help is very appreciated :)

URL Parameter to hide custom CSS

In a recent support session, @matt enbar showed me a great trick for adding a URL parameter that disables the custom CSS on your community. It’s very helpful for comparing out-of-the-box to what you may have customized with CSS. Asking here in hopes Matt can answer so I can find it again in the future (and so others can benefit) :)

Is it possible to automate adding a moderator tag based on time passed?

In our moderation process, we add a specific moderator tag to questions that haven’t received a reply in >12 hours. This puts it into our moderator’s workflow. Currently, I’m doing this manually at the start of each day. I have a filtered view saved and then I add the tag to questions that newly fit the criteria. My question: Is there a way for me to automate this? Is there a solution using Zapier, the API, or something like that to automate adding the tag after X amount of time? Zapier gives me the action half for the automation, but I need a solution for setting up a trigger based ontime since published > 12 hours # of replies = 0Any recommendations?

Why is my Header Logo grainy

Hello,  I have noticed that my header logo is grainy. Is the site compressing the logo? I have tried to other images and it seems to still be doing this?  https://community.streamsets.com I have added the images I have tried.

Why is a new topic created when a post is reported?

I’m pretty sure this has been asked before but I can’t for the life of me find the post so I’m making another. Sorry about that! We have asked users to report a post when they find a broken link. This is fairly common as a result of shutting down our old support website. Whenever a post is reported, a brand new topic is made in a publicly-accessible subforum, as shown below:  Is there a way to stop this? Or to change which subforum the topic is posted to? I manage the reported posts on the back-end so usually end up missing these new topics. None of my users need to see these reports, so I’d rather not have them on the front end at all.

I cannot find a way to add a user to a group, individually or in batch or via Zapier or the API, am I missing something?

I’m working on the idea of tying an event to a specific group. Going forward I would very much like to tie the RSVP to an event in InSided to joining the group BUT today I just need a way to add people to the group if I want to… Anyone faced a similar issue, found something I did not?

As a admin or moderator, can I log in as a other user?

There are situations when admins or moderators should check user´s settings and in order to do so you have to be able to switch profile between admin → user.Is this possible, I can´t find any info about this? And, if this is possible am I able to see users private messages as well?

Recommended content at the top of each category page

Hi there, I’d love to add recommended topics/articles that would stay permanently on the top of the category page, so that I can make certain blog posts/articles (eg. our introductions post) the first thing that users see. inSided does it on this Community, but does anyone have any idea on how to recreate this?   Thanks!

Email button link

Is anyone able to change the link for all the email buttons? Im not sure where in the code I need to change it! Problem: when a customer gets the email, they try to press the button and it takes them to the backend of the community where it says the link doesn't work.

Search landing page: Is there a way to call out that they should log in for full results?

We switched to public visibility for our community last week. 🎉Some early feedback is that people are using search when logged-out and wondering where the full results are. They can see some for public categories and content we have integrated into our federated search. But they don’t see private category content (most of our posts). Is there a way to edit a phrase or inject CSS to style the logged-out search results page to indicate that they they should log-in to see the full results? The Community source (Phrase nav.title.community) is the one with private permissions. Perhaps is there a way to make this phrase say something else when they’re logged-out?

Beta testing on Fórum NOS

Hello everyone, I would like to announce that, although being online for only 2 months, we will start our Beta Testing Program on the platform! We are really excited to do so, but, again, why not hear from all of you that have more experience? Could you please share your experience on this matter? Things like this would be very important for us: 1) How do you moderate the pilot tests? 2) How to you collect and analyze the qualitative feedback given? 3) Did you have any "leak" issue? How did you treat them? 4) Do you have workers from the different areas (such as Product, IT, Innovation) helping the moderation team? If so, what kind of access do you give to them? How do you provide insights to your organization?

Hello everyone I hope you’re having a brilliant week!I have a rather interesting/challenging OKR that I set myself a few months back. Here’s what it looks like:Use data about our Community membership to provide the organization with actionable insightNow, yes, it’s a poorly written objective - but this one is actually just for me and no one holds me accountable to it. The desire behind this was to make sure that the Community we’re building can demonstrably help us improve our business practices. I always felt it was something missing from my previous community strategies, and that it’s really vital for the long-term sustainability of any community. I have this weird and wonderful (I think? You tell me!) hope that:I’ll be able to match our Community members data from InSided with other systems our business uses By doing that, I’ll be able to understand who our members are, how they behave in our products - and what makes them different from someone who isn’t interested in being a part

Event timezone

Why aren't all timezones available being displayed in the event's timezone drop down list? I'm looking for UTC - 03:00 and I can't seem to find it.

Award badges based on Skilljar behavior

Hi everyone!I am creating badges for course completion within Skilljar. The intended behavior would be: User completed course Skilljar notifies InSided User is awarded the relevant badgeHas anyone tried to set something like this up? It looks like it can’t be done with Zapier :( so I am looking into the API. I am brand-spanking new to the API so if anyone has an example of this type of workflow I’d really appreciate it!

It has been on our wishlist for a long time to be able to share valuable benchmark information with you here on inSpired. In the past, this was not an easy task simply because it was not that easy to collect all this information for you in an efficient manner. While we performed a benchmark last year, the process was quite labor-intensive and not scalable. Hence we are super-proud to say that we are now able to offer you these insights on a more regular basis!Before we dive into the numbers however, let’s first have a quick overview what we measured, and how. Scope and methodology This benchmark has a focus on all the B2C communities which use inSided. We further categorized communities based on vertical (Telco & Consumer online services) and also on their level of maturity (more on that later).We have measured only communities that have been live for at least six months in January 2021. It is important to note that, in a small amount oif cases, we were not able to measure all KPIs

Does Active Since Last Visit paginate?

From what I see on InSpired and my community, it does not. It just shows the list of X number of active topics. The recently active search page paginates results in sets of 25. If there are >25 active topics since a user’s last visit, will this search page paginate the list? Will it extend beyond 25? Or will it cut off?

Is there a way to add or invite a user to your community platform

I’m trying to see if there is a way to add or invite someone to the community beyond a CSV upload.  If there are one or two people creating a CSV every time seems inconvenient. Is there a way to add an external user that’s not a team member in a singular fashion? Thank you!

User Dashboard – additional consumption fields/criteria

With the User Dashboard, its great to have data like posts, replies, likes given and received, but would love the ability to look at additional consumption in this view, like the following:Average session duration Page views (unique and cumulative)  By article/post Event registrations

Reduced Support for Easter Monday - 18th April
