anyone here tried running Generate Invoice in PeopleSoft and encountered an error for its process instance? Hi! I apologize if I missed this elsewhere (I did a quick search) but is there the ability to “add” in an object in data-designer and re-point the later objects to the new one?  In the screenshot, I realized after the fact that I needed to merge to objects first, and then do all my data transformations. So what I need is all the transformations after the merge on the right to flow from this merge instead (they use a calculated field from the merge). Is this possible? 

I apolgise if this is a silly question. I am new to learning the inner workings of gainsight so everyday is a school day.I know where to go to see what data comes from Salesforce (Connectors) but is it the same place to see what fields are updated FROM Gainsight TO Salesforce? How do know which fields are drive one way or both ways? What I want to achieve - we had a contractor help us so they did all this work setting up, but now its not working as it used to. A field (PM) is a two way sync, so if I want to change a PM on a client I have to ask SalesForce to be updated and not just update Gainsight as its a two way sync, it tries to update from GS to SF but then updates first from SF to GS which put the original person in that field. How can I change that sync? Where in GS is that functionality Connectors // Rules Engine?  Thanks 

So I have been getting quite a few requests in the past month or so regarding how to setup and maintain a Gainsight NXT sandbox and I have noticed that the associated documentation is rather lacking. One thing that isn’t discussed at all is that you do NOT have to refresh the gainsight sandbox if you do a SFDC refresh. If you have a bunch of assets in your current Gainsight sandbox tenant I suggest performing a “tenant repoint” where you refresh your SFDC sandbox and then log into your NXT sandbox tenant and simply reauthorize the SFDC connection (it will connect to the newly refreshed org id).  Anyway, here’s a rough draft of accumulated best practices hopefully they’re helpful:Hit “Add Sandbox” --> this kicks off a Prod -> SB tenant copy Whoever kicks off this job will be the only user who can directly access the new NXT SB tenant initially Once you access the SB tenant directly, you need to go into Administration/Connectors 2.0/ S

Posting on behalf of customer. With the recent update (release 6.35) to Journey Orchestrator it now sends an email stating “JO Participants crossed Max Drop Limit” and provides some concern when nothing is really being impacted on those programs. Per the release notes this is doneIf the participants’ percentage count drops above the configured percentage count in Tenant Management, then the users are alerted through an email notification. If the participants’ sync from the query builder exceeds the 500,000 participants limit, then the users are alerted through an email notification.  This email also only goes out to the creator of the program so what happens if that user leaves or has a position change, where will the email be sent to then? Is it possible there can be any sort of implementation to customize or adjust this alert and who it is sent to? Right now, we have a timeline activity  Meeting that syncs to Salesforce automatically when the entry is created. Since this is an embedded feature, is there a way to post the created by as the CSM? Right now, it sends it to Salesforce as the admin.

Hi there, I am wondering about rank icons - if we were interested in implementing icons of different shapes (a star for example), I believe this would not cause any issue. We have only had circular ranks so far so I wanted to confirm that this would be possible. Can you share a dashboard publicly? (i.e., without requiring a Gainsight PX login?) I wish I could share dashboards with supporting teams in my organization without setting everyone up as a user.

At times when Sales users are onboarded , sales ops would assign a gainsight license and the Gainsight NXT permission set assuming that this will give Viewer level access. GS Admin is not aware of this because the user syncs over with an Internal Collaborator License with no access but taking up a gainsight license on Salesforce.User Management we cannot audit such users currently. It would be great if either Viewer license is assigned in such scenarios or any such users added with the GS NXT permission set shows up as such in the User Management so that the GS Admin can take action.

There is a new feature that alerts us when there are a certain percentage of failed participants in a query (default 80%) and it sends currently to the owner of the program. How do we get that updated? Ideally, I would like this to email to a distro bc there are some people who are no longer at my company that created programs. When I pull the report on it’s own its showing the data fine, but the filter on the related list is pulling in this GSID no matter what filter I choose. Any ideas?

In the last week, we have observed that the bot is not visible on some browsers. After clearing the cache, the bot appears. Multiple users within the organization have seen this behavior. Have others too faced this?

I have an account that is showing as inactive in Gainsight but is active in Salesforce. Is there a way to manually activate the account in Gainsight? 

Here’s something we’ve been doing for the past 6 months that I think is a simple best practice. I don’t have any data to back this up, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. 😎When articles have an embedded video, I use a custom label “Watch” to visually call this out. If an article has the content both written and as video, I’ll use “Watch or Read”Labels show up in various feeds on the community: Main activity feed Search results Feeds within categoriesAs well as on topic cards if you feature them on a landing page. In the absence of a video “content type” (and not sure we need one with embed options), this is a way to give a visual cue to users that content is more dynamic and to entice them to click in. And/or if they learn best through video, they’ll see a visual cue for content that matches their preferred style when searching or scrolling through a feed. Again, it’s mostly theory

I have a user who shows 23 PMs on the drop downbut on his Private Message page, it only shows 2 messages.  (second user name I blocked for privacy)Am I missing something? Is there a way a user can delete messages?
