At our company, we use Company Teams and R360s for CSMs to manage their portfolio. We’re looking for some guidance on how other companies handle PTO or OOO when they usually would not be able to see another CSM’s BOB. We would like for CSMs on the same team to be able to cover other CSMs’ accounts, such as update CTAs/Tasks, add Timeline Activities, and etc., if their assigned CSM is out of office for any reason. Thank you!

Hi, I am brand new here and am trying a few things out. I have created a widget to add the user name, rank and the current page to a widget in the sidebar. The Javascript works and I can step through the process in debug mode) to see the values added to the labels. But once the page is fully loaded, the values disappear. Excuse the code (it was quickly hacked together), but here is what I am using… <label id="userLabel"></label><br><label id="rankLabel"></label><br><label id="currPageLabel"></label><script> const jsonData = window.inSidedData; const userLabel = document.getElementById("userLabel"); const rankLabel = document.getElementById("rankLabel"); const currPageLabel = document.getElementById("currPageLabel"); userLabel.textContent = `User: ${jsonData.user.name}`; rankLabel.textContent = `Rank: ${jsonData.user.rankName}`; currPageLabel.textContent = `Current Page: ${jsonData.page.url}`; </script>I can see that eac

Hi,I am experimenting with the API to see what information I can get from InSided using the API. I am referring to the documentation here...https://api2-us-west-2.insided.com/docs/user/#operation/fetchUsers...and have started getting results with this. However, the documentation says that an array will be returned. It isn’t an array that is returned. Records for users are numbered like this….{    "0": {        "userid": "1",        "usergroupid": "0",        "membergroupids": "",        "displaygroupid": "0",        "username": "Anthony",        "email": "no-reply+anthony@insided.com",        "posts": "5",        "deleted_posts": "0",        "options": "1024",        "autosubscribe": "1",This might seem trivial, but it makes it harder to work with if the documentation says something that is very different to what you actually get. The documentation also appears to leave a few fields out. Is there an update to this documentation somewhere? Thanks, Richard

I would like to bring in the action notes from the Gong Calls. Is this possible?

Wondering if anyone has faced this issue, every time sandbox is refreshed the search bar stops returning values for company records. I ran a report on Company and see that the records are there, just now searchable.  Anyone seen this before?

In Gainsight PX, there is currently no way to either add a standard NPS question to a Multi Question Survey or include additional questions to an NPS Survey. However, you can have one Survey Engagement follow immediately after the other Survey Engagement is completed by using smart Audience Logic configuration settings. Here is an example that you can build yourself or even consider adapting to other scenarios when you need to present multiple, separate PX engagements in a coordinated series. Build your amazing Multi-question Survey … just as you always do. 🙂 Build your NPS Survey In your NPS Survey Audience Logic, include an In App Engagement Rule that requires the Multi Question Survey Engagement to be COMPLETED only “1” time. Here is what it looks like in action …  Pretty cool, huh?Enjoy!

Is there any way to do add an anchor link parameter (usually # and a keyword) to a URL on customizable landing pages: home community overview knowledge base overview ideas custom pagesI’d love if I could anchor a link to a specific widget lower down the page.

Hi there!  My ELT has asked about open rates for Gainsight (excellent/good/bad) as it compares to some of the marketing outreach providers (ex: Eloqua). What do you consider bad/good/excellent open rates when sending outreach via Gainsight?

is there an issue with webmaster email confirguration via control , getting 500, internal server Error

We’re getting more of our employees involved in the community, but it’s important to us that we highlight customer contributions.Does anyone know of a solution for this, please? Possibly, through some CSS?Thank you!Edit: the sidebar widget which can be found on other pages, not the one you have on the homepage. The editing capabilities seem to be different.

Hello guys,Is there is any possibility to create a videos grid like this in a custom page or to make reusable component and use it anywhere. Also when the user is clicking on the video it will play normally and when it click on the title it direct him to single article with the video. Also it's really helpful if this videos can be included in search mechanism

I’d like to know if there is a way in Gainsight Assist  be able to identify parent vs. child records and when multiple records exist with the same name under parent and child. When documenting to the timeline via Gainsight assist  CSMs can't identify which record is the parent and which one is the child, if both records have the same name. I was wondering if there is a way to filter parent and child records, so that when the CSM documents to the Timeline via Gainsight Assist they are assured to be logging under the correct record.Would anyone know if this is possible, or has a similar experience?  Cheers, Ana

Hi Everyone, We just started with the community and are structuring our categories. We are struggling with the multilingual approach. At the moment we have 4 Parent categories: Welcome, product category, product category, Learn & Share. We would like our customer to be able to ask their question about the product in their own language (we serve 5 languages). So we structure the product category like this:Parent category = product areaChild category = Language How do other companies deal with multiple languages (and 1 community instance)? Curious to hear about this!

Can I use a tag to generate a Federated Search Result. For example, if my tag is the word ‘widget’, can I see results for Community, SkillJar (my Univ. platform), etc.

I would like to have three images appear side by side on a page. They should be big enough to read. If I used Quicklinks on a customized page, the images are not large enough to read.Suggestions?Scott

Hi All, I wanted to give a quick explanation of how to embed Wistia videos into an Engagement. Currently in PX Engagements, we can embed Youtube videos directly without changing any code. But if you want to embed Wistia videos, you need to use the following code: CODE: <iframe src="//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/{!video ID}" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" class="wistia_embed" name="wistia_embed" allowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" webkitallowfullscreen="" oallowfullscreen="" msallowfullscreen="" width="620" height="349"></iframe> If you are using Wistia video, make sure to use the src = "//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/{!video ID}" If you embed the direct code from Wistia, it will display an error.   I hope this is helpful, but please keep your product feedback and Community posts coming!   Thanks, Shireesha

This article will explain how to configure the Gainsight PX Data Loader tool to work with PX subscriptions hosted in the EU data center. How do I know if my PX subscription is hosted in the EU data center? If you access the PX UI via a url with the app-eu subdomain (https://app-eu.aptrinsic.com/), that PX subscription is hosted in the EU data center. That means you’ll need to use the https://api-eu.aptrinsic.com/v1 endpoint when using the PX REST API, and you’ll need to configure Data Loader to use an EU endpoint as well. Configuring Data Loader to Use the EU EndpointData Loader includes a config.json file that sets properties like apiKey and fieldMapping. One property that is not included in the template config.json file is “dataCenter”. If not explicitly set, this property defaults to the US data center. In the default state, if a user tries to connect Data Loader to an EU-hosted subscription, they will see the error “Unable to login to PX, validate API key”.To set the dataCenter param

Has anyone else seen this happen?

Scenario: We are iterating on a page in our product. We currently have a page specific on-boarding engagement running. The Audience rule will not be updated so we will continue to automatically trigger for net new users, but anyone can re-run the engagement from the KBbot.Question: I am interested in understanding how your organization handles these scenarios. My objective is to begin to teach the organization good engagement hygiene, so I naturally lean towards B - but I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t over-engineering the process. A - do you just update the current engagement (lowest risk, easier)B - do you create a new engagement, adding in an exclusion for the previous engagement (to keep the numbers clean).C - it just depends, does anyone else but me (in our org) want separate numbers, etc.

Hi InSided,On all pages except for our Product Updates, there’s text before the ‘| Community’ in the browser tab (see attached screenshots). How can I add text into the tab for the updates page? I’ve looked through system control but can’t find a place to change this. Thanks

Hi All, I’m new GainSight and created an engagement of where show a tooltip. I have got analytics for how many users have seen the tooltip(with close icon) but what I need is, is there any way to get to know how many users have clicked on the close icon of tooltip? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I would expect the bars to render using the decimal precision specified. If it’s a ten in a table, it should be a bar that reaches up to the ten spot. That’s not what I’m seeing in report builder:You can see it clearly on the sevens, but all repeated numbers do not share the same horizontal line.If I change the decimal precision the chart makes sense:Is this a bug?

Where can I see the top keywords our customers search on?Scott

I am using the Gainsight PX REST Api’s for the first time, and I am getting back an unsuccessful response code.  Any guidance on what would be the cause of this?  Is it a matter of an invalid api key or what? Response Code: 405 (Method Not Allowed)HttpMethod: PutApi: https://api.aptrinsic.com/v1/users/
