Hi - for some reason, I am unable to create articles. When I go through the process of creating an article and hitting save, no articles are saved and nothing appears in the “articles” section under content.Any ideas on how to remedy?Thanks in advance,Beixi

Hi Team,Customer has enabled field tracking in SFDC and the values of date type fields where field tracking is enabled are being displayed in non readable format. Looks like Dates are stored as UNIX timestamp in the database and report builder is querying the same without converting it to Date format.https://share.getcloudapp.com/6qurvmAz

I have been speaking with a customer who would like to pull the text from a multi-select question in a Flattened Survey. This is possible through the UI as well as a single select answer. A flattened survey report will place each answer into its own column In the UI it will consolidate answers into one column.

Horizon Analytics Error ScreenshotHello Team,  I can see that the legacy Analytics system allowed us to add Row Grouping on a string field and we could have a Rich Text Area field added in the report. Please refer to the attached screenshot. But, in Horizon Analytics this feature is not working. When I enabled Row Grouping on a String field, and the report has a Rich Text Area field I am facing an error saying that "Aggregation functions are not allowed on field(s) Description for RICHTEXTAREA datatype”. The same functionality was working in the legacy Analytics System.  Is this feature intentionally disabled in Horizon Analytics or is there something I am missing.  

Hello, For my customer, we do have an active success plan defined for one of the customer’s entitlement. But when I go to CSM Dashboard, this active success plan do not appear under “CSM: My Success Plans” Below is the snapshot where you see the active success plan-  I expect this success plan should appear also on to CSM’s dashboard but actually it’s not as you see below and just shows “No data found” :   Can you please let me know if anything I am missing here OR any settings that prevents “defined and active entitlement success plan info” to appear on CSM’s dashboard ? 

Can you create a report or filter from a custom field that only appears in a participant source listuploaded for a survey?  It is not known at this time if we will always use this specific custom field in future surveys.  

Hi there, We got a bunch of articles/topics who are either not relevant anymore or need to be updated. Most of them have been written 2 years ago, when we launched the Community. I would like to know your feedbacks about that ! 🤔 Should we erase those old topics and re-write them ? PRO's : will show up in our user's feed, will be read as fresh content CON's : we will lose some SEO value Should we keep those old topics and overwrite them ? PRO's : SEO-friendly, we will conserve the comments and views CON's : the date will not be valid Any other good practices to share about pruning content ? Many thanks, Tiou

Is there a way to exclude certain categories from the community content and category homepage widget?

I wanted to make a suggestion to improve the inSided community. I just updated my profile with my new community URL and noticed that you ask for Gender. I’m always cognizant as a community leader and manager of leaving space for everyone to belong. And while I’m a cis-gendered male, I’m sure not everyone falls into the polar ends of male/female and making that question an either/or could make some folks uncomfortable with little or not options. Maybe it should be removed as a custom field? Maybe it should be updated to fully recognize various options?

Hi community!I’d like to create a new field for my Success Plans, and it should contain 2 or more users/contacts from the customer company or even my company.I’ve been able to create a single contact one, but not with more people in it. To clarify, it’s like the Internal/External Attendees field we have in Tasks details. How can I achieve this?Thanks very much!

We looked at and attempted to use the Events Framework (https://support.gainsight.com/Administration_and_Permissions/General_Administration/Events_Framework_Overview) as a trigger for sending emails from Journey Orchestrator. To date, we've not been able to get it to function in a way that would allow us to trigger a survey after a case closes or send an automated message as part of the renewal process or purchasing confirmation as soon as the event happens. I'm curious to see if anyone has had success with this feature set and the difficulty of implementation.

Hi there, Is there a way we can remove the “Best answer” status once a reply is marked as best answer?How can I do this if I’d like to change the best answer or if the best answer status is applied to an answer by mistake? Thanks

As part of our Sales handoff to CS, the salesperson completes a pdf form that provides us with the key account details prior to the transition.I was wondering if it’s possible to re-create that pdf form as a survey in Gainsight and map the responses provided to fields in the C360? Goal would be to avoid having to manually add the details as much as possible.

Hi, I am New at Gainsight and I am trying to create a survey but whenever I click on survey 2.0 Tab it is showing me this. I create a permission bundle as well for assigning Permission but it won’t allow me to save my changes to it.Please provide any guidance onto this. Thanks

I’m thinking about adding an exception criteria to my health score. Here’s what I’m thinking:We use rules engine to create a calculated health score We have a manual measure called “CSM Sentiment”  If the CSM Sentiment is not null, then overall health = csm sentiment. If CSM sentiment is null, then overall health = calculated health scoreI’m essentially giving the CSM the ability to override the calulcated score. If I set up the validation critiera, when is the overall score updated? Does the system evaluate the exception in real-time, changing the overall score OR does the system wait until the next rules engine job?

Hello Community,I’m trying to add a new section to the C360 - a related list. The report is a list of campaigns and initiatives from SFDC.Nevertheless, I don’t see the “Action” column being added. I’d like to give the opportunity to my users to view / edit the related SFDC object with just one click (they do have permissions).So far I’ve only found posts here with the problem that other community members cannot hide this column.. Well I cannot make it appear! :DWe are using NXT. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

Is there a way to change the icon used for a private group? I see I can alter the phrase.

I was working with a customer and discussing the changes that Horizon Analytics can provide, and one of the asks was:If you don’t have a person/CSM global filter on a dashboard, is there a way to preview a dashboard as a specific person, or see a specific users dashboard roster I’m not aware of a way to do this - in standard dashboards, if you hit preview it will show you a dashboard, but you are unable to “preview as”Being on Gainsight Support I am a bit spoiled because I am able to login as another user (provided they’ve granted access), so understand the utility of this ask, and I wanted to be sure to setup a post for Jim/Infotech to be able to further detail his request. 

I’ve looked through the help and I can’t find any information on this. If I access the RSS feed location from a public URL (e.g. not logged into the community) the feed displays all the ‘public’ posts.Is there a way to pass a token as part of the URL which is specifically linked to a user so it it displays the feed that is relevant for that user.For example, if I access the RSS feed whilst logged into the community, the feed shows me all posts relevant to my/a users permissions.There are two reasons for this:To create a frequent email which includes new/updated posts that members can subscribe to To allow members to use the RSS functionality within Outlook/Another RSS aggregator to easily review the new topics from the community and not be inundated with New topic emails from our community
