Hi guys. We have a web portal and separate native mobile app that we use Google Analytics for tracking analytics. For the mobile app, it’s using “GA4” which no longer has the views from Google Analytics and as I understand it the views are what are used to bring the data into Gainsight through Adoption Explorer. I believe GA4 is the latest version for Google Analytics, and would love to know how others have managed to get the data from GA4 into Gainsight. The local Gainsight team are trying to find out from Google directly for us but nothing back yet. Thanks Jason

Is there a way to add columns to the analyzer export? I am in need of the Created By and Last Modified By columns for all rules, and neither a config snapshot, bulk scan, or analyzer export covers these columns. These are available as filters in the rule list but a bulk export with these specific columns is needed for ease of maintenance and record keeping. Currently workin in SFDC edition

Hi, when a user request to join a specific Group in the Groups module, where are those requests sent? I would expect to receive a notification on email?

Currently, Gainsight Activity “Default Closed Status” is mapped to SFDC Activity “Status” in the Activity Sync and it’s not possible to edit it. This is confusing for my SFDC users, as all Tasks appear to be closed. I’d like to correct the mapping so that “Status” is mapped to “Status.” 

Noticed this yesterday:People are pasting images in new threads and the admin view shows SOME images, but not all.  however, on the customer view, the images are there.Any ideas? 

Hello - Wondering if anyone has come across this, and has a potential work around.  We have a few S3 exports that we have set up to provide to our data team.  We noticed that whenever we add a new field to the file export, that it typically shows up in the middle of the file.  This requires our data team to build a new file to deal with this change.   Expected behavior would be that any field that I add, shows up at the end of the data file.   Is there something I’m not doing that is causing this? Seems that maybe it’s an issue where some fields have a label that’s been manually created, and these new ones don’t?  

Curious to know whatever happened to “Enablement Engine”?At a previous company I was given a walkthrough/demo and it was slick… but considered too much of a “nice to have” to justify the cost.If EE was a core, cost-free Gainsight product, I know we would use the heck out of it.  And the better job we do enabling our end users, the more effectively they will use the platform, the more efficiently we can maintain the platform, the stickier Gainsight will become as a mission-critical platform and that would translate into smoother renewals and upsells…. right?I’m sure there are support/dev concerns...but just seems like having more insight to how the platform is being used AND having the ability to enable users directly in the tool would be a no-brainer?Raise you

I have set a filter in the user overview. Then I go to an account that meets the filter conditions. If I then return to the overview, the filter is no longer active. How can I return to the filtered users from an account?

Hi, I didn’t find any insight on this field in my search for “custom user title” here on InSpired. What is this? What’s the intended use case? How does it display (or not) on user profiles in the community?I checked users with custom user roles and this field is not enabled or in use on those profiles, so it’s not that.   

Hi Insided,We are trying to set up form tracking for the “Register” button on the Registration page where users would register for a new account. We’d like to separate successful logins versus unsuccessful logins. When we look at the Variable section of Google Tag Manager, we are not seeing any differences in Form ID, Click Classes or anything else. How do we measure successful versus unsuccessful form registrations or how can a developer push separating values into the data layer? 

hi all, I can see we can hyperlink text on private messages. However, the hyperlinked text looks exactly the same than the rest so it’s not obvious where to click. See below In this sentence the words “in this thread” are hyperlinked, but you have to guess it.  Any known solutions to this?Cheers

I’ve had 3 members this week tell me they get “token invalid” when trying to reset their password. Why would that error occur when they are going immediately to reset it?

Hi all - I am trying to use Code and Webhooks in Zapier to apply mod tags to a batch of questions once per day, depending on certain criteria. I used the method outlined by @mstone in this post to generate an API key. The key works great for GET requests, but when I try to POST, I see this:  The thing is, if I take the exact same token used for this request and use it in Postman, the POST request works fine. It seems to me that it isn’t a problem with the token, but maybe a problem with how I’ve set up the webhook. Does anyone have experience with this?For reference, here is my request. I’m not sure if this has been asked before (I couldn’t find it, if so)…We have a post on our forum that is a Welcome message to all new users.  Right now we have it set as sticky so that it’s always at the top of the hot topics/featured content.  Since this article isn’t relevant after the first trip to the site, I was wondering if there was a way to have it only show up the first time the person visits.  I see the Introduction bar widget, but I don’t think I can modify that to point to the article. Any ideas?Thanks

Hi All - I just created an event for a private group. When I go to the group page, it doesn’t show up anywhere. Where should I see it?  I see that I can add it as a featured topic, but if it’s the only one, it leaves a ton of white space across the top.

 I’ve had a look at the articles on setting up the XML sitemap and have it added to our robots.txt. Currently we’re implementing so our community platform visibility is set to Private. When I try to go to our sitemap.xml file I get an error that says this: Is this because the sitemap.xml file isn’t generated until the community is Public? Or is there an issue I need to resolve to make this work?

Hey guys.I’m facing a question that probably has a really simple solution that I’m failling to find. In our Company MDA object, we have one field that captures the date of the Last Timeline Activity. It works just fine but now I was asked if I could had in a 2nd field, the link to that activity. I’ve tried using the same rule I have to get the date of the last activity, to also get the Subject, in hopes of it being clickable and opening the activity, however, after loading the values into Company, it seems the Subject does not appear to be clickable.How would you guys go around this?  Thanks in advance! 

Is there a way we can determine number of visits per week in Segmentation? For example, we’d classify a user as “frequent user” or “power user” if they logged in x & y amount of times per week/day/whatever.

I would love to be able to create a survey that would just allow me to track if a user has selected yes or no to one question.Example:Would you like to be involved in a focus group? Yes / No then we can collate the users that have registered interest and contact them, currently we have to use Boolean Survey Engagement which has a comment box which we do not need. Any advice on how we can get around this would be great!

Reproduction steps: Create a new topic on the moderation platform and add a horizontal line   Navigate to the front-end side of the community and edit the post. Save changes and observe that the Horizontal line has disappeared. The front end text box appears not to have it as an option.   Editing posts on the back-end does not remove the line.

We’re encountering an issue with system emails for new product update posts (support ticket submitted), but I’m curious as to how many users it’s impacting. We just pushed our Products Update module live last Friday, so I expect it’s not a negative experience for many users yet. In looking for the list of who is subscribed to the product updates module, I can’t find anything. I tried looking under emails, on individual user profiles in control, and clicking around elsewhere. Does this exist?
