Hi there - I needed to set up a custom report type in Salesforce to use the Insided data, but now all I see when trying to reporting on Community Member Activities is “Visited Community”. No topics, posts, comments, etc. Did I set something up wrong? How do you have your reporting set up for it to work properly? On the backend in the custom report type I have Accounts → Contacts → Community Member Activities. Thank you in advanced!

If you aren’t already using it, there is an option to switch your color pallet for scorecards in Gainsight so that the colors are more visually accessible for folks.  When you update to the new scheme, your Habit and Mass edit reports adopt the new colors as well. But if you have custom reporting you need to do and want your colors to match your scorecards, here are the Hex codes you can map using Custom Colors in reports: Greens (Darkest to lightest)#5AB08E #3FCE96 #59E7AF #90E2C2Yellow (Darkest to lightest)#E0A85F #FCC642 #FFD46B #FCDF91Reds (Darkest to lightest)#D76E75 #F77271 #FE8C8B #FAADAD There are a few ways you can get at this yourself but I thought this would be helpful to share as I didn’t find it documented anywhere. If you are launching a newsletter or trying to announce something important to your community users, it is not possible to send emails from the community itself. However you can easily export list of user email addresses and use a different mailer service to send emails to these users: Go to Analytics in control and run an all time users export. All community emails addresses will be given in this export. Copy/paste or import the email column to your preferred email service and send your newsletter! 💥

Has anyone created a dashboard (not necessarily automated) with month on month success metrics? What are the top metrics that are tracked? Is there a sample report with data and insights?

Greetings!In Gainsight PX, there is currently no direct integration to Aha! Road maps and Product Board. However, feedback received through KC Bot can be sent to Aha! Road maps and Product Board using Email forwarding.Here's how to make it happen:Step 1: Obtaining the unique Email AddressesSetup in Aha! Roadmaps:Navigate to the Settings menu. The ‘Closed (Duplicate)’ status helps, but I want to add something more explicit to ‘Idea merged into’, like‘Please continue to engage on the idea that it is merged into and not this one’.And yes I am looking for suggestions to say that more crisply too :p

Hello,Can we customize the sign up page to include additional text related to privacy policy etc?For example we would like to show additional text to the user on the page before they register.

We have a couple of products that share the same add-on module. Is it possible to create an engagement that can be used by multiple products? Currently, we’ve had to create an engagement for product A. Then, we had to clone it and apply it to product B. Managing these virtually identical engagements have been a nuisance. Any tips from anyone who have a similar scenario?

Hi all, I want to change the text for “This member can only receive messages from members they are following.”. I tried “Forum - This member can only receive messages from members they are following.” but this did not work.Any role that has permission to edit phrases on the community is also allowed to send messages to any user, no matter their settings. So I have to add it via control.

Hi All,On Oct 2, Meltwater Community (closed customer community) will celebrate it’s 1st Birthday and launch our Rewards Program. We have cause to celebrate as we’ve grown to 7k members and launched tons of programming but haven’t reached @DannyPancratz monthly engagement levels yet so I am hoping this program will do just that. Wondering if you’ve have launched a program like this and would share any lesson’s learned. I’ve attached an early version of the program - please share any feedback as well.TIA!Kelly

Users subscribing to Product Updates receive what amounts to gibberish.  How do I ensure, that if a customer subscribes to Product Updates, they will receive something they can actually read and maintain a good experience?

After our latest security scan we are tasked to resolve a vulnerability regarding the PX cookies lacking the HttpOnly and Secure tags. The documentation regarding cookies is a little sparse. is there a way to configure Gainsight to set these tags?

We want to show 2 engagements immediately after each other. So when the user finishes or closes one, the next one should directly pop up. We have added Engagement 1 is viewed more than 0 times to the audience of the second engagement, but that only shows up after the user has clicked somewhere, meaning they could move to a different screen, which we don't want. How can we solve this?

Hey there, fellow mapper of product features!  Let's dive into the wonderful world of product mapper naming conventions without overthinking it. @link_black and I have your back! Here are some tips to keep things easy and straightforward: To Start: Name Modules and Features based on how they are talked about and referred to with customers  in the product and documentation so even non-technical people understand what they are and what they mean. (e.g. Analytics section becomes “Analytics” module, Scheduling sections becomes “Scheduling” module, Running a report becomes “Run Report”, Adding a new contact becomes “Add Contact” etc.)Then: Use Feature name suffixes to further indicate what the user really did in the application. Examples: “Dashboard View” or “Dashboard PV” == loading the Dashboard page “Run Report Button Click” or “Run Report BC” == clicking the Run Report Button “Submit Job Custom Event” or “Submit Job Event” == custom event linked to a Feature “Filter Dropdown Selected

Looking for suggestions on the best way to log like a milestone or email (or anything else) on a company timeline for companies that raised a termination/downgrade request. The requests are coming from Salesforce cases and we want to have an activity log on company timelines automatically when this happens, without notifying the external customer and possibly without creating a CTA.

We have many C360 people who are are also people that should be shown in the R360.  It seems the only way to get a person from one to the other is to manually add them.  It would be nice if there was a way to go to the C360 and “associate” the user with more than one product that is in the R360.  We use Gainsight Assist for Gmail and it’s nice to send an email and have that app ask which account you want the timeline attached to-but it only triggers that notification if you have the people in the email associated with the R360 products.  Therefore, I would like to associate my people from C360 to R360 to have that Gainsight Assist functionality work consistenly.
