If Gainsight is going to insist on sticking scorecard mass edit and habits reports in its own little corner of the product separate from Report Builder, then the least we can ask for is consistency and parity between the two. Right now we don’t have anything close to that. Some examples: Most importantly for me, we can’t compare fields. This is crazy! I just want a Mass Edit report where I can show when the score label for a relationship differs from the company score label. Can’t do it; have to go to Horizon report builder for that, which means losing functionality that comes with Mass Edit reports (seeing comments, prettier UI, etc.). As pointed out in this community post, there is no “score modified by” lookup in Mass Edit. In Horizon rules, you can double click on a field, and it automatically goes to the show me. Not so in Mass Edit. Similar concept as no. 3, in Horizon rules you can drag a field to the filter section, and it brings up the filter screen automatically. Not so in Mass Edit. I’m sure I’m missing other stuff too, so please add anything I missed in the comments. Thanks.
Posting on behalf of Customer:Pain-point: This update has increased the number of clicks and it's not a great experience for CSMs.For example: The system at a company defaults the timeline type to "Email" because there are more email-type entries, but now when the csm tries to create a meeting timeline Gainsight throws a warning, asking the user to confirm the change, which leads to more clicks. The notion of automatically determining the timeline type based on usage is appealing, but it would be much better if the administrator could override it and select a default timeline type. Alternatively, if the warning or popup is only a type update and no data has been submitted on the form, the system must update the activity type without any warnings.
It would be huge for admins to be able to create new fields in destination objects from connector jobs when mapping fields from source to destination. Using a SFDC account sync as an example, in today’s state, fields need to be (manually) added to the Company object in order to map fields from the SFDC Account object. If I am getting Gainsight up and running for the first time, or if I there many new fields I want to start tracking/mapping within Gainsight, I have to manually create those fields in the Company object in order to map them. It would be a game-changer if there was maybe an option in the “Target Field” dropdown for “create new field” or something along those lines where perhaps users can match the data type of the field we’re mapping from or provide the ability to include data type in the field creation.
For Timeline, the current expected behavior when creating a manual timeline entry is:“The default Activity Type displayed depends on the historical usage (most used Activity Type for the given company or relationship).”However, Email is used so much from the Gainsight Assist feature that almost every record will default to “Email”. But most users never manually add an Email type entry to Timeline. It would be preferred to either allow the default to be defined in Administration or allow users to define their own default type.
It would be great if there was a way to denote when a boolean should be displayed as a checkbox (or just display as checkbox by default) throughout the product as that is the way the data is currently displayed in SFDC. One place in the product where I have received this feedback about the most is within the Person section of the C360, as shown below. The experience feels a little disjointed considering when an end user goes through adding a Timeline activity or updating a CTA, they are able to use checkboxes but here they cannot.
Adding an option to include a captcha during registration would help reduce the number of automated bug bounty / spammer accounts that create accounts on the community.
Issue Summary: Gainsight is supposed to be the source of truth for customer interactions and it's powerful enough to be a primary workspace too! So the Gainsight Assist function embedded in Outlook is quite useful. There is some confusion about where the emails land when you log them to the timeline, and even some concern that they're not going to be able to be found again if needed. It'd be a nifty idea to be able to click directly from Gainsight Assist into the timeline entry that was logged so that we can either pivot to working in Gainsight from that record or at least confirm where it landed.Request Description: Using Gainsight Assist from Outlook, please make the timeline location that the email is logged to a hyperlink instead of just a name. Often, customer accounts have multiple programs that may apply and, as a CSM, I'd like direct access to where the emails are being logged.
Posting on behalf of a customer The selection box to pick the Email Template to use within JO is too small and can be hard to navigate and find what you are looking for. It can require you to hover over multiple templates for the full name to populate in order to find the correct one you are looking for. It would be extremely helpful if there was an increase to the window size or even a scroll bar, just to make this more user friendly. Image is to show how the names are cut off because the window is too small and if you have multiple templates with similar names it can take a while to find what you need.
Stop showing this error message in Timeline when changing Activity Types if no fields have been filled out. It’s frustrating for users and makes no sense when no data has even been filled out in the activity except for date (which is needed for all activities anyway).
We would like to implement a generic on-demand survey throughout our product, but would like to pre-stage values based on where in our product the user triggers. Since you can’t pre-stage values (hidden or otherwise) dynamically in Survey Engagements, I went looking or an alternative.I found the feedback api documentation https://support.gainsight.com/PX/API_for_Developers/02Usage_of_Different_APIs/Gainsight_PX_User_Feedback_API but we want to capture more fields than we can do with the feedback API. Ideally, I’d like to be able to define some additional text, boolean, and image fields that can extend the feedback schema and then use values in a UI we create in our product to then send a feedback event. Can we make the Feedback API extensible -- more specifically can we extend the feedbackObject with additional Key-Value pairs in the Feedback API? cc/ @jmobley
We have unified search in our KC bots, which means that search finds content:In the KC bot within the main self-help section or any category From the integrated search (Google search to a domain)We are now starting to use “recommended content” to add content applicable to the current screen that someone is on.Unified search does not find recommended content that is not otherwise part of the KC bot- I checked with Support, and was told “it currently excludes content within the recommended section from search results”. The ask We would like unified search to find the content that is added to recommendations. If someone is not currently on a screen with the content, they should still be able to find through search. For example, perhaps a new user exploring saw some recommended content, but when they are on a different screen, they don’t see the recommendation. If there are use cases to not show all recommended content in search, perhaps there could be a way to mark either content or recommendations to show up in unified search.
We would like to set a minimum delay time for the Snooze. Our welcome tour shows up automatically on the main screen. When a user clicks “Show me later” (Snooze button), sometimes they are back on the main screen within a couple of minutes. I was told that the interval setting would affect Snooze. For example, if I set an interval to show 2 times, 30 minutes apart, the person wouldn’t see the tour for 30 minutes. However, the interval also applies to people who close the engagement without clicking “Show me later”. I would like either a separate interval for Snooze, or a time delay setting for the Snooze. That way, people who choose to close the engagement, don’t have it open up. And people who choose to be shown later will have a reasonable delay.
Currently when a user submits feedback from the Knowledge Bot, the email body contains the#requester Type of issue summary Description User email User id Account Account idHaving the ability to customize what other fields to pull from the identify call and other sources would be fantastic. For instance, we would like to be able to see the user’s browser and browser version as well as the product they are coming from and their User Role. Other things that could be useful would be phone, timezone, and various custom attributes.
We would like the capability to bulk copy links and bulk edit the name and URL of the links in the KC bot. In the KC bot, we add links that point to the current version of the documentation. For each release, we need to create new links and add the name and the URL to the new documentation version. The links to the earlier versions are retained because we have customers on those versions. Here is a screenshot of the links in the KC bot. Notice that we add the version in the name to differentiate the URL for the specific version. Typically, the name and URL are the same, so we only replace the older version (for example, 24.2) with the new version number (for example, 24.3). Currently, creating new links is time-intensive and holds us from adding more links to the KC bot as we want to avoid maintaining them. That’s why it would be really helpful if we can get an option to bulk copy the links and edit the name and URL.
Needing the ability to edit the name of the question bank after saving in CE. We are wanting to reorganize our quiz banks but unable to do so because we cant change the name of an existing quiz bank.
PX has an OOTB survey for NPS that syncs directly to the NPS survey response object in CS once PX/CS are integrated. However, there is no OOTB survey for CSAT in PX - just a rating or multi-question survey that could be repurposed for CSAT. The survey still syncs to CS but doesn’t sync directly into the CSAT Survey Response object as well, requiring a rule to load this data fully for reporting in CS.I’d like a way to either have a CSAT survey type in PX or a way to flag an imported survey question in CS as CSAT and have data loaded directly into the CSAT Survey Response object table.
When a rule is already on the rule chain, the rule shouldn’t show up in the results as I search for others to add. This seems like a logical thing that would be the case already, and because our rules have naming schemes it can take a lot of time ciphering through which rules have been added already when they keep showing up. As an example below, I would not want the Advocate Score option to show up because it’s already added to the rule chain.
Scenario:User is working a CTA. User moves to Timeline tab to Add Activity. User adds Activity. User stops mid-way through, and does not log the activity. It is noted on the screen the activity is saved. User does not discard or log the activity, but uses the X button at the top-right to exit the screen. See attachment.Current State: To return to edit, user must navigate to Timeline > Drafts.Problem Statement: It is reported by Users to be cumbersome to return to the Timeline > Drafts section, and would be more intuitive to continue working the draft directly from the Timeline section of the CTA. An improved workflow would enhance the user experience so User can simply open the CTA they previously began working, navigate to the Timeline section of the CTA, and view the Draft on that page.Idea: Display the Draft in the Timeline section of the CTA.
Good Afternoon- We have long descriptions for our manual scorecard measures including definitions, why it matters, scoring guidelines, etc. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to format the description so it is readable. Formatting would include line breaks, bolding, etc. I found that I could use a very simplistic form of Java when writing to the Comments section in the R360, however when I try formatting the Scorecard Measure descriptions this does not work. Is there any way to format Scorecard Measure descriptions to make them more readable?
