When using the V2 editor, we can now add an action that allows us to open the KC Bot from a button. It would be a great amazing to be able to choose which tab the KC Bot opens to without having to make the Tab a the default tab for the KC Bot. For example, if we wanted to create a guide that directs the user to the feedback tab at the end of the guide, we could add that as an action from the button without forcing the Bot to show the feedback tab by default when it is opened normally.
I’d like to be able to set custom fields on goals in the Customer Goals Library that are not editable by the end user. For example: Goal A in the Goals Library has a category = X. When goal A is selected by a COM from the Goals Library the category field is non-editable (the category was selected when we created the goal but cannot be edited by the end user).
Rn we're missing the possibility of search in a drop-down menu in JO - Program - Custom Field Mapping (see the screenshot)Also, the names there are not sorted - it leads to a super-long search from the user sideWould be very nice if you can make the dropdowns consistent so people can search for a needed field.
I realize this tool has a shelf life so I don’t imagine lots of dev time will be allocated to it, but a few other observations that would be great: Allow to re-run a migration of a failed rule from the logs screen. I generally had a couple of rule screens open so once I started a migration I could edit the rule and save it. Would be nice to just re-run if you have the migration logs already open. Sorting by column header in migration logs (any column) appears to just blank out all the records and you have to refresh to see the history again. Would be nice to have some way to report or filter on this: You can migrate the same rule (even successfully) multiple times. Unless you’re feeling adventurous and migrating all your rules at once, it might be hard to keep track if you’ve migrated all your rules or not, especially if some need re-running. One general request would be that prior to any hard cutoff where Bionic rules vanish from our collective instances, would be to get a readout on any Bionic rules that haven’t been migrated. Likely those were manually rebuilt or not needed but again, it would be awful to have a rule you missed, or were waiting on, to migrate and you didn’t realize it until it was shut off and deleted and things started breaking. cc: @rakesh @anirbandutta ty
There should be a way to prioritize how recommendations are presented to users in a KC bot.It is possible that a user could meet the audience criteria of multiple active recommendations, and so we need to be able to prioritize which one they should see.
Hi,Our teams have been using the Gainsight Zoom App frequently to access Gainsight information from within a Zoom Meeting with customers. So far we have two core areas of feedback that would greatly improve the experience from our perspective:Better company/contact detection: per the Gainsight engineering team, the only way for automatic company/contact detection to work on a meeting is if the person who schedules the meeting is also a Gainsight user. It’s quite common that someone outside of Customer Success might schedule a meeting with a customer that a CSM then joins. There shouldn’t need to be a linkage between the person who schedules the meeting and if the company/contacts can be detected. So long as at least one contact on the meeting is associated with a company record in Gainsight, the app should automatically load the company/contact details within a Zoom Meeting regardless of who schedules the meeting. Based on the size and various roles that work with our customer base, the current set up leads to the company/contact detection only working about 20% of the time which is not a great CSM experience. More admin customization of C360 tabs: as of today it seems like the C360 tabs that get pulled into the Gainsight Zoom App are limited to ‘Attributes’ sections in addition to some out of the box options like ‘Timeline’, ‘Scorecard’, and ‘People’. It would be great to expand these options - ‘Cockpit’ for example so CSMs can view and create CTAs in a meeting or more custom tabs from the C360 like the ability to include ‘Relationship’, ‘Survey’, and ‘Reports’ as options to view within the app experience. This would allow for a more well-rounded view into the customer and provide admins more control over what shows up for CSMs.Thanks for your consideration!Ryan
Hi Guys, Im working with a customer at the minute who would like to have the ability to have links in the scorecard description to take end users to a more detailed view of what the scorecard criteria are. In order to do this, we would need the scorecard description to be a rich text area In my opinion, this is a really clever use case as it gets around some of the challenges of trying to write detailed descriptions of scorecards in a very small text area
Folders and subfolders in the Rule engine are a great way to keep organized. While working on some updated copies of rules I kept in a subfolder this morning, I had an idea that would help make folders even more useful for the tidy admin: stick a Description field on the folder and let us drop some helpful text in there. It could live below the “All Rules” header at the top of the Rule Engine window, right above the list. I’d find this to be an amazing way to remind myself what particular folders are used for, and it would be immensely helpful for collaborating in multi-admin orgs. Bonus points for potentially making life MUCH kinder on an incoming admin adopting an established org built by someone else (if they are kind enough to leave useful descriptions behind). What do you guys think?
Hello dear PX Community,I think that it would be really useful to have the option of selecting “Dashboard Co-Owners” in PX, especially for companies having more then a few stake holders dedicated to in-product analytics. In my opinion, this “Co-Owner” role should mainly be able to:change Global filters such as time period observed and similar add widgets on the Dashboard but should not be able to delete widgets from the Dashboard which were not added by that same personOne of the benefits of this approach would be, for example, not having to clone every dashboard just to change the time frame on a certain graph. The global filters for PX dashboards are yet to be implemented and I fully agree that they are necessary - posts related to this necessity were written 9+ months ago on link1 and link2. Please let me know was there any progress on these ideas too.I see these two “features” very much related because I would suggest that Dashboard Co-Owners are allowed to change Global filters of a certain dashboard (like written above) - but I would not give this person the permission to change “specific filters” on widgets which were not added by the same person on the same dashboard. Of course, I’m assuming that Global filters would not have the same set of filters which a specific widget has (excluding here filters like “time period” which is an absolute necessity both for Global filters and for currently available specific-widget-filters).
Hi Team , Posting this on behalf of a customer. Idea is that whenever we change the owner of a success plan , it should be able to dynamically change the objectives owners to the newly changed SP owner.
We are deploying CSMs in other countries where language localization is a priority. CSMs are creating objectives in other languages, but would be helpful to export the template itself and field labels (Plan Status, Plan Owner, Objectives by Priority, etc) into another language.
Hi!I’ve been working with an issue to pull out a slice of the data from HubSpot, but unfortunately the filters available to apply on dates only work on a fixed date. This means that is necessary to update it manually from time to time to avoid a job’s timeout caused by the size of the dataset, and also extracting the same data unnecessarily. I’ll be great to have advanced filters such as the ones that we have in the Rules Engine, or at least to be able to filter only the data from the last xx days to improve the connectors’ performance . Thank you very much and Merry Christmas!
Hi, I am parsing company names from email addresses and need to be able to apply the following transformation to the string extracted: capitalization of the first letter. For example, 'pepsi' to 'Pepsi'. I know we have the 'To Lower Case' and 'To Upper Case' formula fields in the Transformation Tasks of rules - I was wandering if there was a way to only capitalize the first letter of a string rather than the whole string itself? Many thanks, Ricardo
We have a need to understand how customers are engaging with our content and more specifically would like to have insight into clicks on a tokenized URL. To give more context, the use case that we would like insight into is how customers are clicking on Calendly links that are tokenized to be specific to each customer success engineer. I understand that this is not currently possible and would appreciate your consideration. It would be super helpful to get insight into it so that we are better able to make changes based on metrics such as open to click through rates. Right now, we are running a blind on how many clicks we are getting on the tokenized Calendly URL.Thank you!
As a community admin, I’d like the ability to create and customize additional community pages using the widgets available on the home page so that I can add additional content/landing pages to my community and keep users within inSided (rather than directing them to an externally hosted page). For example: we’d like a community page that serves as a home for our training modules and certifications. The ability create a new blank page and leverage the ‘HTML’ and ‘Featured Topics’ widgets would allow us to create such a page and keep users within the inSided community experience. The ability to use these widgets on a category page would also be extremely helpful.
To aid in clarifying field criteria, which would inherently improve the quality of data being provided in the Enhancement Request form (Product Requests) and ultimately sent to Productboard, it would be helpful to enable helper text for all form fields. With such requests, it’s imperative to ensure the appropriate data is populated, so each request is appropriately evaluated and prioritized by the product management team. With the current inability to populate helper text for a majority of the fields on the Enhancement Requests form, we risk incorrect data being populated, or unnecessary delays as users seek further clarification. This could be readily remedied by enabling admins to populate helper text to the form fields via Product Requests admin configuration.
Repro steps: Create a rule with a number field Run the rule (test, manual, scheduled - any) View Logs > view pass records in browser Click on the column header to sort the column. The logical expected behavior is for a number field to be sorted by it’s integer values, however per Technical Support in Ticket #214866As per the update from our engineering team, this is a known limitation in the product. Currently, we treat all fields as STRINGS and sort according to it and also we are just providing search operators as equals and containsand similar behavior to the old UI. Suggesting this behavior is replicated across legacy and horizon rules. The suggested enhancement is for the column to sort in numerical order, rather than treating numbers as strings. Thanks!
According to Support, “Whenever a rule is processing and exceeded the limit, then first rule will perform all the actions and will give a message that limit has exceeded. So there is no data loss or failure records.”A few clarifying points here:The limit here is the Rule Chain limit, e.g. NOT the individual Rule limit. This is 300 minutes. The messaging and status received say that this particular Rule was aborted. Looking into the logs, all actions show as successful. This error message needs to change. The rest of the Rule Chain at this point is aborted. The Rule Chain error message says Partially Successful. This needs to change. The remaining Rules in the Rule Chain have now been aborted. There is no error messaging on this. It is far too easy to glaze over this piece of it and NOT check the remaining Rules to rerun them while troubleshooting.Overall, the alerting system on Rule Chains needs A LOT of work.
It’d be great to be able to tokenize a customer’s logo image in Success Snapshots so that we can populate decks with it. Thanks!
The Activity Date shown on Scorecard Timeline comments does not actually represent the first date the score became as shown. Instead, it shows the latest comment date (stored as Modified Date) as long as the score did not change. This makes it appear as though scores changed late or something went wrong in automation, when this is not actually the case. Instead, it would be nice to either show both or more accurately just show the first activity date, as is the case in every other Timeline Activity, CTA, etc. The example below shows one score that was last modified on 10/29 but was actually created on 10/28. The top comment was the score between 10/30-11/2, before it changed again. This is VERY hard for an end user to follow, let alone us admins thinking something is broken.
